Hi guys, I am planning to have a section with curated content on my website. Is there a function in Avada where I can just paste a link and the theme shows a preview of the article along with a photo, very much like it works on Facebook?

I am not sure I am understanding your question here, I apologize if I am not. Are you referring to publishing content on a site using Avada and then having this published content disseminated and displayed on external websites? Similar to perhaps a syndicated RSS feed?

Hi Avada Team, 1/ Can we expect great improvements according to blog page speed for the next version of Avada. I have to launch a new project and I’m hesitating btw/ your theme (I already know) and Newspaper, which is almost twice faster when it’s about blog page display. 2/ Can we expect Avada 4.0 for the end of February/ early March or more for March/April ? (I have unfortunately certain time limits to keep to. So if these improvements are appearing in short term, I can buy a new license waiting for the next release) Thanks a lot for your answers. S

Let’s clarify a few things first. There are numerous factors that can affect your Blog speed, that need to be taken into account and not withstanding, images optimization, layout type, the chosen number of posts on the archive page, etc etc
Comparing two or more themes that are purpose built and inexplicably different, is not always a valid method to qualify the results
I can’t comment directly on the speed of your site as I am not able to inspect here, so let’s answer your questions:

I would like to use an image as a link to a modal popup. I can fin shortcodes for buttons and text link, but have no idea how to solve it for images.
Example: On this page (http://palmers.annors.se/partners/) I want to be able to click the images and get a modal popup for each image.

You will need a custom solution for this, there are no options to enable a modal link for an image. One solution would be to add an image to the page via the WordPress add media option. Example:

Thanks, but since I’m using the “Person”-feature in the Fusion builder, that is not really an option.

That is true, but you can setup the same content that a person shortcode has with other regular content. Basically use the column size of your choice, then insert an image, text block for name/title/description and then social links for the icons. It can look identical to it

I worked with that solution and it is possible to do it that way. The only thing is that I need to add the [modal_text_link] tag manually for each person, and if I switch back to the Fusion Builder it removes all of those tags.
You must be going form text editor to visual editor, which will do that. Make sure you are using the text editor in the fusion builder.

There are several third party plugins out there that provide reliable maintenance mode options. I have checked comments regarding a HTML version of the theme? Is it there now? Do you have a HTML so that I can use this outside wordpress?

Unfortunately we don’t have a HTML version of Avada available. As the theme grows, it becomes increasing difficult to release a standalone HTML version, just due to the large number of dynamic options and styling Avada has.

Excited for Avada 4.0! I would like to make a suggestion for future releases – enable Lightbox functionality to work with elements besides images (such as posts, pages, html content). I found a plugin to use that should work, but since you guys have the lightbox shortcode, it would be nice to use that.

Interested in this question. How to implement a dynamically fetching data when scrolling? Just like you have it in the example with BlogeTimeline. For example, do not display the entire page at once, but only part of it, and only when scrolling page by uploading the following information.

Yes. You create a new website, using Avada and need one license fr it. If you create another site then, you buy a new license and build that site.

Presale questions, please (I’ve looked thru all of your options):
1. Can your Blog and Magazine modules (shortcodes) be made the main page?
2. In the Magazine theme, can I have a layout similar to http://www.nytimes.com/trending/ – as under the ‘Trending’ section. Meaning that I would have two equal larger columns but the right one will have 4 smaller columns inside, equal size or not equal. And the latest blog posts will post into those 5 blocks. Then below it, can I have a separate 4 column section where the Next 8 posts will be posted?
3. In the Magazine theme, can I place AdSense ads anywhere in the content of the post? Meaning, between paragraphs, below title, below featured image, right or left aligned in the paragraph? Can I do it via shortcodes or via template code customizations or via a plugin?
4. In the Blog theme, can I have AdSense ads displayed after 1st, 2nd post? Using what means?
5. By chance, do you know if any of the Front End Submission Form plugins or User Submit plugins are supported? What about Gallery plugins and Social Voting plugins?
6. Can I have 2 sidebars on the main Blog page but only 1 on blog posts?
7. Can I insert a screen-wide image into one of your standard Headers?
8. Do you support Yoast SEO plugin? I would guess yes but need to ask.

1. Yes.
2. It will take a little setup work, but with 3 differnt blog shortcodes, the layout could be similar.
3. There is no adsense shortcode yet, but when editing the template you can of course get it anywhere. Between paragraphs shouldn’t be an issue. And of course you can install a plugin for it too.
4.That would be more involved. You would have to edit the template tag to customize that.
5.) In general Avada works well with most well coded plugins. Of course we can’t test all plugins with the theme, as there are literally thousands out there. So for a special plugin, you will have to try it out. Our support is always happy to check if we can assist if a problem arises.
6. Yes.
7. Yes. You can also use FusionSlider for this purpose.
8. Yes Avada works well together with Yoast SEO.

2. You can use regular ‘Blog’ shortcode three time to achieve this effect. You can find a list of the available shortcodes here:

3. You can insert Adsense ads automatically in your post content if you like. However, in regards to automatically inserting the ads between paragraphs, this would largely depend on the plugin itself. While there isn’t an official Adsense plugin that has been tried and tested with Avada by our team, any well-coded plugin should work fine out of the box.
4. Yes, using a counter inside the loop would be the recommended method. You could also use WordPress’s hooks to insert your ads inside the loop:
