Hi, I’m running latest version of Cabin 1.5.1 and I’ve just installed Woocommerce and its saying there are outdated Woocommerce template files:
cabin/woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php version 2.3.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.5.0, cabin/woocommerce/content-product.php version 2.4.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.5.0, cabin/woocommerce/global/quantity-input.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.5.0,cabin/woocommerce/loop/add-to-cart.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.5.0, cabin/woocommerce/myaccount/my-orders.php version 2.3.10 is out of date. Are you releasing an update to fix this, is it safe for me to manually update these following the woocommerce instructions?

That hides the navigation, but also seems to override a lot of my other settings, like getting rid of the logo & footer, and not allowing a boxed layout. I really just want to hid the navigation but leave the rest as-is. Is that possible? Perhaps I could just comment out some header code until we’re ready to build a more complete site?

Yes of course. You can then create your page the way you want it, and just hide the navigation with precise custom css.

Basically, for trigger you will have to use custom link as menu item and to use full URL with included hashtag (this is native WP functionality). For target you will have to set Anchor ID field in desired row, explained here: http://demo.select-themes.com/cabin-new-help/#!/4_custom_shortcodes_row

Yes, the content you create with Visual Composer , for the page that has Blog masonry template, will be rendered at the top of your page, before blog list starts!

Unfortunately the client would want the blog posts at the top of the page so this wouldnt work. However, I have just discovered Visual Composer includes a Blog Post Masonry Grid option within the Grid Builder addon which looks like the perfect solution!.

I would like to buy this theme (with extended support) but I need some clarifications first:
1. A client wants a site similar to ilfanale.com which is using your theme I had a look on it and I have noticed that on mobile devices (android) the menu is not displayed as on desktop (with submenus) and also is not displayed the social media icons & language choices is that configurable from admin or should I use custom CSS?
2.I may use embedded player from issuu.com for catalogs (hosted on issuu servers) will I have any issues on mobile devices? (issuu supports now mobile devices).
3. If I need help mainly on CSS the extented support will cover these issues (no for major changes)

1.This site you gave us link to ilfanale.com is not using our Cabin theme at the moment as we can see? But you can create the very similar site with our Cabin theme yes. And submenus will be displayed on mobiles of course, check our demo sites on mobiles , for example http://demo.select-themes.com/cabin6/
The icons can be kept on mobiles also.
2. We haven’t tested this, so we can not give a precise answer. If it’s supported on mobiles there’s no reason it should not work.

Yes, you can create one intro page that you will set as your homepage. That page can be without header and footer, and only contain those three photos, that will take you to three internal pages, and all internal pages will have regular menu at the top for navigating through site.

I like the idea of the AJAX page transition however I’d like to tweak its behaviour: Right now when I click on a link it takes a few seconds until the fade begins. This is very confusing, I always think that my click didn’t register. Is there a way remove that delay? Also, is there a way to speed up the fade?

Well, I’m not above some hacking so I guess I’ll take a look myself. Changing some constants shouldn’t be that difficult, right?
Then you should look into ajax.js file that stands in the js folder of the theme. Try changing PAGE_TRANSITION_SPEED . After it, you should minimize this file and overwrite existing ajax.min.js with it.
Thanks, worked great! The scrollTop speed was also a trivial change. However I’m still bothered by the delay between clicking on a link and j.ajax() success when the animations start. I haven’t seen javascript until now so I don’t know how to fix it.
I tested on Firefox and Chrome and the delay varies between 2 and 6 seconds even when jumping back and forth between two test pages. It would really improve UX if you could fade out the page before sending the request: The user won’t mind waiting that 6 seconds if it’s clear that something is happening.
I tried using 3rd party page transition plugins but they kick in even when just opening side menu sub-menus (+) so that’s not a solution either.

Only thing you should be aware of is images, we have bought them on ShutterStock, and in order to use it on your site you will also have to purchase it. When it comes to other elements on site, you will be eligible to use them freely.

Please note, those are all dynamically loaded elements that do have animation included in, such as pie charts, progress bars, tabs, accordions, masonry elements, line graphs etc. In other words, safe for VC frontend are only static ones such are images, icons, text block etc.
