Hello 
My client showed me that the logo isn’t displaying properly for her. Instead, a text version is showing, with a square border around the outside.
She sent me this screenshot from her safari browser.

.starting-logo.default-logo {display: none !important;}
I’ve tested it on three different machines running safari, and have no problems. She still has the text logo displaying in her browser, even after clearing cache.
Would you be kind enough to test the website, which is http://taketina.katharinaloibner.com , using a Safari, or suggesting a way of getting the image logo to display on all browsers?

Thanks for the advice. I’ve tried that, but the logo still isn’t displaying properly in her browser. It might be isolated to her machine, but it’s not really a chance we want to take! Any other ideas?

Hi there! A question how to modify the logo of the demo import (the corporate version) I tried using the tab for header and to change the logo however the salient logo seems to be hard coded there? thanks!

Can this mobile menu be changed/fixed up a bit? Right now, if the parent page has sub-pages/sub-menus, on mobile I can never access it directly, and clicking on the parent item in the menu opens up the sub-menu items instead… not allowing me to access the parent item in any way on mobile. How do we get around that?

If you remove the option for a sticky mobile nav the layout will change to a version where both can be accessed

The Slide Image Upload is not working for me. (Home Slider) I click “UPLOAD” and nothing happens. (Demo Content or an Original Slide)
Similarly the “Remove Upload” button in the Nectar Slider does not work. Help appreciated.
UPDATE: SOLVED: Seems to be a plugin conflict with Seed Prod Coming Soon plugin.

How to solve: Browser shows undesired positioning of anchor links if/when returning from ‘other’ site pages.
Steps:

Go to Salient Options panel > General Settings > Functionality
Check One Page Scroll Support (Animated Anchor Links) [On] -
Go to Salient Options panel > Page Transitions
Select Animated Transition Method [Standard]
Check Disable Fade Out On Click [On] -
Go to WP Admin: Appearance > Menus
Each custom link must use full url path. i.e.http://example.com/#anchor

Upon installing the latest version of your theme my site appears to be stuck in boxed layout; the full-width section doesn’t extend all the way to the end of both sides outside of Ipad or Mobile resolutions.

Hi, I update the theme to the last version and want to change my home like the Particles Agency demo. I install the demo content and try to config the home page, but I don’t see the image for the crown, heart and diamond. I don’t find also the dymmy-data.xml file on the zip files of the theme. How I can set the icon on the Particles home page like your demo? Please do a more detailed documentation, the Salient User Guide pdf don’t help me. Thanks a lot

I have a question. On my portfolio page, is it possible to change the language of the filters? As in instead of having “All” and “Sort Portfolio”, is there an option to change the language of those 2 things? Or do i need to install WPML for example?

You can change the sort portfolio text from the options panel > portfolio section however changing the “all” would be easiest from the .po file

Hi, just having a play with the ‘Box Roll’ effect which I have to say looks great, however, it is possible to change the background colour when rolling down to the content. At present I think it’s #e4e4e4, but I’ve changed all settings within the Salient options but none seem to effect this colour. Is there a CSS change that can be made? Thanks in advance.

I would remove the “View larger button” on my portfolio list.
I tried to apply the snippet I found in some answers you’ve published in the forum:

but they don’t work on my web site.

In the Portfolio setting” you need to choose “Four columns” in the Layout field and it works. If you select “Fullwidth” the link” view larger” is always displayed.

Aside from the lorem ipsum comments that you created, there were hundreds of other comments linking to Facebook pages and profiles as well as several random websites. I also set up a dummy install of Salient so you could check them out yourself. The login details are in the messages I sent you.

Hey – i’ve tracked the comments to being simply added in by mistake in the blog demo, they were ones that were left on the live blog demo which made it into the dummy data export. The update that will be out later today will remove those from the dummy data set

Great, thanks so much for your help (and sorry for the late reply)! Anyhow, I noticed after updating Salient that the Salient Visual Composer plugin wasn’t updated. I recall reading either somewhere here or in a readme file that I would have to reinstall the plugin manually (which is the norm for me as I’ve made use of VC quite often in other projects), but after I noticed that the version of the plugin in the latest version of Salient is still 4.9.2 and not 4.11. Are you guys still working on integrating the VC update into yours?
Hey – the current version included with the theme is 4.10, 4.11 will be included when the theme updates again. However if you’re unable to download 4.10 are you sure you’re on Salient 7.0.7?

I did indeed update to 7.0.7. I’m not sure why I’m still stuck on 4.9.2. =P
Did you also follow the VC update info file?
If you're upgrading from Salient VC 4.9.2, you'll need to delete the plugin from your plugins section in the WordPress admin panel before installing the current version (4.10) in Appearance > Install Plugins - This is necessary due to a bug in the Salient VC 4.9.2 which prevents regular updating.
