Hello,
I’ve just created a website with your template. And I have a little problem since I uploaded the theme on GoDady. The nectar slider is always showing the same slider by default (the main one). But actually in the backend, it’s a different one for each page.
Why it is always showing the same slider despite the fact that in the back end, it’s not the default one ?

Hey – are you using the current version of the theme? This was an older issue that was resolved a few releases ago

Iam using a ajax call to change page elements. The elements loaded are for example blocks with new content. This was working just fine behore updating vc4.7.2. But now the do_shortcode(); outputs some elements as html and it seems like it doesnt recognize vc_row_inner [vc_column_text] elements. But it does recognize the divider elements. I guess something changed when updating to VC 4.9.
I also replaced the old theme with the new one.
I hope to hear from you, it seems to be a vc problem i guess.

When using the tabs with google maps elements. Upon page load the google maps appear fine however when viewing the other tabs the google maps element is just blank – example here: http://massamedia.com.au/bounce/?page_id=33
The Salient Visual Composer is having trouble displaying the columns.. the visual composer works when adding more elements or removing however it is not putting it in any columns I set

?I’ve found the issue after another 10 hours of debugging… for the columns not displaying or not working correctly
In the database -> settings the field was set to 1 which is related to deprecated code (wpb_js_use_custom) was set to 1 which really can be deleted or set to 0
Can you please address my last issue in regards to the maps not rendering in tabs?

that’s not normal – the typography section should’ve been imported with the rest, did you import the demo from the options panel > demo importer?

I’ve had an issue for a while. I’ve found that the Visual composer won’t register any background images for a particular site I’m working on. Once I’ve selected the image in a row column it doesn’t pull the image through and goes back to same screen with the “add image”.
Hope you can help, I’ve tried updating to the latest theme and also started from a clean slate, yet it still happens

Hi, I have some strange things going on with the off canvas menu. I have set the off canvas menu to ‘full screen’, but it displays the text blurry. Seems to be taking on the ‘blur’ effect from the background content.
Also, on mobile the full screen off canvas menu is cut off at the depth of the nectar slider?

Minor issue we just noticed with the latest 7.0.6 update. In the portfolio (built from the Agency demo), when you’re in an individual portfolio item, the “Portfolio” header color is changing (in our case from white to purple, while the rest of the menu remains white). No other header item changes when inside the page, not even the Portfolio menu item when you’re on the Portfolio page. Maybe the fact that these are child pages of Portfolio could be causing it?
Any thoughts on how we can get that to stop happening? Thanks!

Hi. I’m almost set up, but still need help in two areas if possible
1. I would like my photo gallery page to contain 15 galleries which will contain approximately 6 images each. They will all show different aspects of the busine. I would like it to be made up of five 3-column rows. Each column to contain an Image Gallery. Once complete, I should have 5 rows each containing 3 image galleries, and each is clicked, they open prettyPhoto so that the user can simply scroll through each image in that particular gallery, and so on. It is the ‘featured’ gallery image which I’m having difficulty with – the image that appears on the page which when clicked opens the images. I would like it to be static, not sliding, and also not an image with parts of the previous and next image showing as in the touch enabled and Spaced type. Just a static thumbnail (square or rectangular), which when clicked on opens prettyPhoto and arrows to click to the next. I have tried every possibly way, but I can’t stop the ‘sliding’ feature. I fear if I have 15 galleries on my page, all sliding at once, the user may become hypnotized and fall off their seat. Is there any way the featured gallery image can be both ‘full’ (no other images showing) and static?
2. I have 2 nectar sliders with video backgrounds. While I understand that these do not play on a mobile, I know of other Salient sites which are using video sliders which appear as a still image when viewed on mobile. When I look at my own site on mobile, the sliders on both the Bespoke and Wedding pages don’t appear at all, there is just blank space. Could you tell me if I have missed something that would cause this?

Ok please don’t beat me with sticks. I promise I try to find the answers to my ridiculous questions before asking; Google, YouTube, children under the age of 6 who seem to know far more than me… I can’t find an Editor in my panel, or anywhere to edit this code. At all. In my other wordpress site (different theme), the stylesheet is right there under the Appearance menu. Here, I have Themes, Customize, Widgets, Menus, Page Builder, and Install Plugins. I’ve clicked everything and I just can’t find it. I followed the theme upload instructions to the letter. I realize I’m an idiot, but you all seem very kind to idiots. At least publicly. You might read this and spend the next 10 minutes rolling around on the floor asking why on earth I’m allowed to own a pc. I’m starting to ask myself the same question….
Hey! In order to edit js files, if you’re not using an FTP client to upload files you’re editing locally you’ll need a plugin such as this: once you’ve installed that you’ll be able to see the js folder inside of your theme folder in appearance > editor

Hey super Salient folk!! It is the annoying one once more. And you thought you’d got rid of me….
I’ve uploaded lots of lovely photos to my galleries. Only problem is the copyright exif data isn’t being stored. I downloaded a few images to test, but my copyright data isn’t there. I know of two other companies using your theme, I’ve downloaded a couple of images, and the copyright info is retained. Is there anything I might be missing? It is rather important that my image copyright is retained, as the images represent the UK’s most awarded pyro company and I need at least that base layer of copyright protection. The copyright and author info was placed into all image prior to upload, it just doesn’t appear once an image is saved from the site.

Hey, I havent been able to replicate this locally – are you also able to see this occur on the agency demo which makes use of the box roll header + various js elements?
I tried that before posting here, it was working just fine. I even removed the box roller yet the problem persists. only the error is now from a different js file.

Hi Guys quick question here, is it possible to have the main navigation below revolution slider? so the slider would sit flush at the top of the screen and any size and then the main site navigation in its own bar directly below it.

Hey – this would be possible with the page submenu element that’s been added into the Salient VC as of 7.0. However, if you had a multi page setup it would require you to use css to hide the normal main nav on that one page with the rev slider
