I got two problems wit rehub theme.
My startpage (home) is defined in the backend as Pagetemplate: Standard Template.
issue 1. i cant hide the name of the page on frontend. see www.academyphoenix.com
issue 2. if i change the template to Page for visual layout Builder, the name “Home” disappears but my sidebar is gone.
in the widget area, i define a “default siderbar” area. I incliude the homepage to this, but the sidebar does not show on frontpage in Page for visual layout Builder Temaplte mode. Thiswy i switch to Standardtemplate with the issue nr1.
You need to choose Page for visual layout Builder and then choose next template

Yes, this plugin is not in wordpress repository, so, there is no another way to install it. Note, you can update theme without this plugin
i am having issues with getting the theme to look like the demo. I have installed all content with no errors. I have also tried installing the demo site to see what settings are different ( this didnt work). I cannot get the main page to look like the demo.
Anyway you could assist me with getting my site to look like the demo without having to install the demo site?

Added on your site. Note, you imported demo content from rehub, but want to use rething (which has different demo content). Some things can work not as expected. But in most cases content is compatible between different child themes
Content Egg Question:
I want to include a specific product from Amazon, but it won’t show up in the Content Egg search, even if I paste/type in the exact product name as it appears on Amazon.
Any ideas how I can include this product?
Also, is there any way to pull in the # star ratings and number of reviews (not the full review, just a count of how many reviews) a product on Amazon has through the Content Egg system?

Hi, I am having issues with the reviews meaning the bar and numbers) showing up on the home page. I am using the visual builder and in the demo it shows the actual score on the thumbnail, since I updated my theme to the 5.7.1 it no longer shows them.

I am using the 1-4 blocks, and the news block with small thumbnails on the home page.
I’m not sure why that would prevent the review number showing up on the thumbnail – thanks for the feedback but I’ve changed the image and still nothing? I think its a function issue not a thumbnail issue?

Last version do this automatically, it grabs two last posts from your specified post tag and show them.
If you set featured area from home page – just add tag and number of posts for slider. For example, if you have 7 posts in tag archive, and set 5 posts for slider, next 2 posts will be in right side. http://rehub.wpsoul.com/documentation/docs.html#22

I have a few question regarding functions if the theme & plugins as I am currently evaluating if Your theme covers all of our need. We are planing to use the Repick theme.
1. When I use “List Layout with left thumbnails”, is it possible to show the temperature or the whole hot metter also in the list rather than just in the post itself?
2. When using Content Egg & Affiliate Egg, is it possible to use more than one Amazon Affiliate program. For example post products from Amazon.com, Amazon.it, Amazon.co.uk, etc.
3. Can I somehow force the rehub_offer_deal_price field to be a decimal field so that when user enters for example 99 it will automatically be converted to 99,00?

About 3rd question: Yes, I think I got mixed up with the field names. In the documentation under “How to add User submit” You specify 2 fields “rehub_main_product_price” & “rehub_main_product_price_old”. Is it possible to force the display of the decimal numbers as explained in my first post.
If you will use Affiliate Egg or Content Egg – price will have price pattern and will be converted automatically. For manual adding – this will not work, because people can add not only prices, but also any words. If you need user submit and such function – this is possible with some customization.

After you fixed VC memory issue, the custom URL on inserting media does not work any more. I then need to manually add each url on each image. Before, I could paste the url in each image under insert media before adding to the site, which was much quicker. Now it does not work after VC memory fix from last week.

Is there a way to make all the images inserted into a review post automatically given a custom URL such as the Post Offer URL? Since people click images, it would be additional way for driving affiliate traffic to affiliate URL. Right now I do each image manually. Maybe a new feature to add.

1. Your post must have any visible element with link (so, script can grab url from it)
2. Your images must be added with default wordpress image insertion (this will add special class to image).

Code doesn’t overwrite existing link of image, it just doesn’t work if there is existing link

Yes. This is it. But problem is that wordpress doesn’t have any solution to make custom query work with offset parameter.
So, instead of using offset and pagination, you can do next tip, usually people do this for such cases. Don’t use pagination. Create additional page and add there only one module withput offset and with pagination. On first page, in the end of post loop, just add manual link to second page with wodrs, something like (“see more” or “next page”).
Why do you need offset?
I’m really disappointed with the Demo Data feature of this theme. You know as well as I that your demo data setup is TERRIBLE right now. There should be a button that I push on the dashboard that automatically populates data. That is a large feature of purchasing a theme on themeforest—-if I wanted to spend a bunch of time programing a wordpress theme I would hire someone to do development for me. I use themeforest themes so that I can just drag and drop, cut and paste. Please give me some guidance on how we can make this right.
Why should I leave a good review for your theme?
Demo Import is way more complicated than it should be.
There are demo stacks in theme. Ways which usually themes use (demo xml install) don’t give plugin settings, this is why it changed in theme to more powerful cloning functions. And I don’t think that it’s very hard to install one plugin and just insert link. But it gives you real cloning of demo site instead of just posts and theme options import like in many themes.
If I will find any way to import plugin settings with default wordpress functions – I will change way of importing data
