I’m unable to download the required plugins i.e. when I try to download JW Player for WordPress, it gives me the following error: An unexpected error occurred. sorry cant login support, and although i ask for pw reset i dont get any emails. anyway…. my question/request is simple. When i share a youtube, vimeo, dailymotion url on facebook, the video player is embed within the post: people clic and the video plays within facebook. I would like the same for the video pages on my website. For instance right now if I share this url on fb, http://djresqvideomix.com/keni-burke-risin-top-djresqvideomix-live-vs-studio-edit/ people cant watch the video on fb, they have to clic and are redirected to the site.

I forgot to mention i did that and its not working either. Maybe it takes a long time to work, but i did that 3 hours ago, many times to double check too. This leads me to another question, if i need to debug all my video urls, is there a way or a plugin i can use to do all of them automatically? I dont see myself doing that on all my video urls manually thx again

sorry but I am not sure I understand your question, but i think its what i want to do yes. basically, i want to share this url to fb and my followers to be able to clic play on the facebook timeline instead of being redirected to my website. anyway, like i said in my first post above I cant access the cactus theme ticket or I would have done it already. when i clic lost password i never receive the email to reset it. can you please help me with that too so i can give u the login info. thx a lot
ok I know what you mean, all my video urls on my website are set to “video” so thats not the issue. can you please reset my password on cactus so you can help me more? I did Theme Options > Social Share > Share video on facebook and choose “play video on Facebook” / then I did debug the url / this post IS set to Video (i have always set my video posts to video)

This slider is not built by using Smart Content Box. You only need to select on Theme Options > Front Page > Header Style: Big Carousel or going to your Page > Front Page Settings> Header Style: Big Carousel.

Hi, I noticed a bug with the video series, on the video series page, when you order by likes it breaks and shows the entire category the video is in sorted by likes instead of just the videos in the video series.

Hi, thanks for fixing this in the latest update, however I just saw in google webmaster 400+ errors for tags too, and same problem here when you sort a tag by “like” it sorts all videos by like, not just the tag.

I really like this theme, however, I need to use my own videos and ads. Before I purchase this theme, I need to estimate costs. In your opinion, will an experienced WP developer be able to easily switch out a JW Player for the video player you have throughout this theme? How difficult would using JW Player throughout the site be?
I have read more comments regarding JW Player. I see that it can be integrated in order to play self-hosted video. I want to verify that it can also support self-hosted ads.

You can either use JW Player 5 (an older version) which is included in the package, or use non-official JW Player 6 plugins (we support 2 plugins, please check release logs: http://truemag.cactusthemes.com/release_log.html)

so what exactly is the benefit of subscribing?
After subscribed, users can access a specific page to see all subscribed channels and videos in those channels. There is a page template allowing you to do so

Do you mean the Episodes under the video player in single video post? You can change to the selected box layout for it at Theme Options > Video Series > Series Listing Style in Single Video > choose Select Box.

Thank you very much, the viex count problem is fixed but not autoplay. I set up the autoplay fonction and put “Yes” but with the FVFlowPlayer it doesn’t work. Best regards
Hi You can set up FV Flowplayer to auto play video at Settings > FV Player > Sitewide Flowplayer Defaults -> Check on Autoplay box. Note: FV Flowplayer only supports self-hosted videos.

I am lookong for a Video membership site. I go through your theme demo store and found that when I share the video to Facebook deskstop, the post look like post at mobile phone which is a small thumbnail photo at left side and the description at the right side. I tried other themes, the post will have a huge photo on top and the description at the bottom. Can this can be fixed?
Another question about the membership plugin, can I use another membership plugin other than the one this theme is compatible with?

1> The thumbnail position (large/small) is depended on FaceBook ( if you have a large image—> the large image will be displayed on the FaceBook app). For example, we share this video on our FaceBook, it works normally as you want: http://i.imgur.com/YsdIqG8.png
2> In True Mag theme, unfortunately, we do not have any feature or plugins providing Video membership. You need to automatically check the compatibility of the third party plugin or find a freelancer developer to help you with this requirement.

NewsTube is more focused in magazine, news sites while True Mag is intended for a video-listing site. It doesn’t have a built-in membership function, but you can integrate a Membership plugin to do that.

Hi, “Quick View” is working fine on my homepage (I’ve enabled it in Theme Options). However, it doesn’t work on my Category pages. How can I enable it to work in the Category pages as well?
I have discovered the cause of this. If “Theme Options > Blog > Choose Default Listing Layout” is set to ‘Big detail 1 column’, then the Quick View option stops working on the category page, even after using the layout switcher for the grid view.

I am running into a few errors after installing the theme.
First, I couldn’t do a bulk install, I’m getting the following:

So, I started doing them one by one but I’m getting the following error on the foloowing plugins: JW Player Install; True MAG Movie; TrueMAG Shortcodes; TrueMAG Rating; TrueMAG Member
The error reads:

How do I get the widget area not to be so wide? Just need it as wide as the single widget there. I put a login widget into the menu. I marked it as Column Styles and added the my Login Sidebar to the level 1 menu item. but the dropdown with the widget that is created to nearly full width of the site when i doesn’t need to be…why is this?

Menu box is designed for 4 columns.

Thanks for your reply! suggestion would be to have preview and widget in one drop down menu, that way there would be enough to fill the widget.
but as I type that, I realize I could create a custom widget to show the video post and then drop that into the menu…. it’s a solid workaround
side question or big push for next update… why can we not put channels into the preview mode menu type? is it because it is a custom post type? any way you can direct me to the area where that coding that determines what is there and how it’s handled? maybe I can write something myself to tweak it and allow it to show channels along with categories and other types within preview mode of the megamenu.

Unfortunately, Mega menu supports for 4 columns on Menu board ( ” widget area” is in your comment). You should add 4 items as level 1 in this case.

You could get the installation file in Theme’s full package.
You can add widget “at right”, please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets: Drag and drop that widget to suitable sidebar, then configure widget option and save. it
