Great theme, loving it! I am however having a bit of trouble with the contact form. I am trying to replicate the Ascend themes contact page and have input the following code:

Unfortunately it still appears a bit different from the Ascend demo. The code you provided fixes the spacing, but you’ll notice that each header (Name, subject etc.) isn’t sitting right under each line. In the demo, when you click on “Your Name” for example, it then animates up to make space for typing. I have activated the minimal form styling, but am I missing something else?

Sorry, I forgot to mention for that you’ll need to set labels like so:

One last thing I noticed and I hope you can help me fix… when I input new lines of text under “Your message” the text appears to overlap the heading as the box expands down the page. Hi, i have bought your theme and i have a problem. When i install it direct from wordpress and the installation completed 100%, then a message appear “The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred”. I have tried some solutions but with no results. Can you help me please ?

Hi, how are you today? I’m experiencing a problem with lovelo font in h2 heading when viewing the page in Safari 8.0.5. The font shows as LOVELO line light, not as lovelo BLACK as it should, in chrome it shows OK. You can check it at abrazo.ws. How can i fix this? thanks!

I basically want to use the Ascend theme for my site, however just the landing page with the big background and then the masonry blog section (but for my portfolio instead). So it will just be one page with a big background image landing page, a portfolio area underneath and then a footer.
I have tried to make it look the same but I cannot seem to get it to work right. Is there an easy way for me to install this theme and then just remove the bits I don’t need? It just seems different when I try and build it myself using shortcodes etc.
One other thing, I noticed on one of the themes you have svg icons that draw themselves. do you have to code that animation? or can you export an svg animation to behave that way?

1. That’s totally possible when using the Salient Visual Composer – you could install the demo from the demo importer tab in the Salient options panel and then delete the elements you don’t need. If you need me to help you with this quickly please open a ticket in regards with your admin credentials themenectar.ticksy.com/
2. When adding an icon element in the text block of your page you just need to choose the linea family and the animation options will appear

thanks for all your advice. in regards to svg, i was more interested and how that is possible rather than how to use it in a theme. like do you have to make the animations and then export them or do you do the animation using code?

Hey, I have tried everything you have mentioned buy the demo never imports correctly. I even deleted all my Wordpress tables and started again. After importing the demo, the content isn’t there and thee structure isn’t right. Sometimes, also when I import the demo, it says importing for like 30 minutes and nothing happens.

1. Currently when a user clicks on an item in the Portfolio page of my website, it opens the link in a new tab. How can i disable this from happening. I want it to open in the same window.
2. I downloaded and installed the FrostWave theme. However my previous websites Portfolio pages were designed as posts. Is there any easy way for me to move them or import them into the new Portfolio section? I don’t want to recreate each Post as a Portfolio item if i don’t have to.

I’m just basing my request on a answer to a post about a year ago. Yes I started from my default.po. But before I started that, I noticed a French translation in the Loco translation plugin. Now it’s mine, but it’s far from complete. I wanted to get a fr_FR.po to help for my own translation. When I posted that request, it was also for the other user. I’m wondering if a French user could share a .po file. Thanks

You are correct, the only one included with the theme was the default.
When I tried to translate it with Loco translate, I saw a fr_Fr.po for salient in Loco Translate. That file was not the complet french version for the site and some part of the blog were not translated. That’s when I started to translate the default.po file to French. The problem is that I renamed that file fr_FR.po, erasing the original file. To make a complete translation of the default file to French is very long, that’s why I’m trying to find an existing one.
If I need to translate a part of it, at least the original French would be a huge help.
I hope my explanation is clear, English is not my first language!
Thanks anyway to provide a french version of the .po file, it’s going to make my life a lot easier.

LOVE this theme. Been using it for years since the 4.0 days. Just upgraded to version 7 and had 3 quick questions and/or feature requests:
1 – Is it possible to have video blog entries show the thumbnail of a post rather than try and embed YouTube when using the ‘Blog’ Nectar element on the homepage? Example here: https://www.tmro.tv
2 – The blog entries are all different heights. This happens even if I tell the row to ‘Equal height – Yes’. Is there a way to get each blog element to get cut at the exact same height so the different videos are not floating at unique vertical heights? Example here: https://www.tmro.tv
3 – Any way to add more elements in to the social media Nectar tag? If I want to add our social media pages to the footer, I can do that easily with all of the offerings you have. But if I use the element to drop social media on to any page, I only get something like 4 options. Would be awesome if I could put any social media element on any page location. Don’t have an example of this one.
These are minor nitpicks in what is probably the most powerful Wordpress theme I have seen. Love it! Keep up the epic work!

3. The nectar social element in VC has fewer options since it’s grabbing share counts – if you just wanted static links a quick workaround would be to set a link around an icon shortcode of your choice (most social networks are included in there)

In the previous version there was a beautiful shop page, with different elements on it. But now, after the update, the elements do not show.

Hi the update solved the problem. but there is something else.
it was present before as well. on the blog post page, when you open the article page, you see the slider, and the logo, plus the shopping cart icon and the lines representing the menu. it is all fine. but when you scroll down the article, some sections of the article, and come back to the slider again, the page logo, the menu, the shopping cart disapper. the navigation space is empty

There is a problem with the pie chart element. You click on it and nothing happens. I have tried in 2 different web browsers. Running the latest version, but it didn’t work on the prior versions either.

It’d be awesome to see a way we could make a “Call To Action” time to expire. For example: Run a AD Promo, want it to end on 3/1/16 at 11:59 PM PST, then the call to action would automatically disappear at that time, when the coupon expires.
