I’m using the CAROUSEL 1 (big carousel) header style and I want to get rid of the post title (so it shows nothing). How do I do this? I want to get rid of it because my featured images will have text on them….so it will look bad to have the text on the featured image, plus the post title
Also…how do I get it so the posts don’t repeat? I’m using the Smart Content Box 3 times (medium, grid, then small) but I want the first part to show only 4 posts, then the next few posts, then the next, and so on. Right now, everything just shows the recent posts so it all repeats

I created a ticket but all they said was ‘we don’t support offset’ ....Am I the only one who thinks this is a crucial feature to a magazine/blog theme? I love your theme but it makes it VERY limiting without a simple offset option

On front page, for smart content box, I am not able to change the color of author name. I tried this code .item-info {color: #ffffff !important;} and also this .item-author {color: #ffffff !important;}
And nothing changes, is there any way to change the color of author?

If you mean the post’s content, it is impossible to limit the number of words in the content section, it is followed by the default WordPress.
If you mean the post’s descriptions (excerpt), you can use the Custom Code feature to increase it.

- For single post page: You can go to Theme Options > Single Post/Video > Show About Author: Hide.
- On Smart Content Box page: You can go to Smart Content Box shortcode Show author: No.
- For Blog and categories page: Please go to Theme Options > Blog> Show Author Name: Hide.

Hi, in order to use shortcode in excerpt, you need:
- Add this code to your theme’s functions.php
add_filter('the_excerpt', 'do_shortcode');
add_filter('get_the_excerpt', 'do_shortcode');
- When editing post, you need to enable custom Excerpt meta (in Screen Options) and enter your excerpt with shortcodes to that field.
Shortcode only works with custom excerpt.

Hello there, I just recently applied for Monetize my videos on “https://flowplayer.org/asf”,
and
This is what they replied:
“Hi, we can submit your site to Google for consideration, but please be aware that the ASF program will only work with Flowplayer HTML5. So if you are not ready to switch your all your video content to our player, it won’t make sense to submit you”
well, I would like to know how can i replace current Flowplayer to Flowplayer HTML5 to can use Ad video? Or, Would you suggest any other method to use Google Ad on the videos.

The “supported”green box means you are having a valid support license. (when you buy theme, you have 6 months support license for free). With this valid license, you can submit ticket to our Support System at http://ticket.cactusthemes.com
