This would currently require some css modding – if you choose the 2 column option and all this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel it will become a single column though

I added a Vimeo link to the button url on the Nectar Slider. When I click the button I get “The Image Cannot Be Loaded”. What could be causing this issue?

Have you tried to switch the theme lightbox to prettyphoto?
That was the fix! I switched the lightbox to prettyphoto and everything works correctly! Thank you so much for the quick response and our band absolutely loves this theme!

Hey – glad you figured it out
After installing Yoast Seo plugin not working mobile version – hamburger menu not working by pressing, most of blocks and vidgets not shown. I have already removed this plugin and took a ticket, but answers are like optimisation advices (clear you cache, install plugin that delete responsive images and so on). Every step is done, but the problem is still actual. Are there another ones suffered from this plugin? My question is could I solve this problem without a total reinstalling the theme or this is the only way to reconstruct the site?

674904 As it seen through reviews the latest Yoast version 3.07 is guilty in such problems. But I do not deny that it can be another reason.
Thnx, but I’ve just made a backup to version before installing Yoast and everything is working correctly now. Optimisation will enhance loading speed, but the problem was exactly in this plugin. Be careful and backup is a power!:)

I added the code in Woocommerce>setting>emails>completed order HTML template between <tbody> and </tbody>.

you could also put it into the salient options panel > Google Analytics textarea but if it’s working for you there’s no need to change it

no. I would like to shorten the background view time. Also, when I view in Safari the background view time is long and the first slide is very very short followed by the other slides that rotate at a good pace.

Hey There, I have a client who is using your theme (The latest version) and for some reason I understand that the Visual Composer plugin bundled is a cut down version. How can my client use functionality that comes out of the box with VC? i.e. rounded corners for images and other fancy things like that?

The Salient VC offers a unique set of elements compared to the regular one – if you wanted to use the raw version you could, but you’d loose the Salient functionality

Hi there. Is it possible to create a picture navigation. I would like to have a horizontal navigation with 6 main menu items as a picture with a single text on top. On hover the submenu appears beneath the picture.

I received the same message trying to update to version 4.9.2 before 4.10 was released.
There is a new feature in VC for update notifications that will be disabled come 4.10 in the Salient VC since it’s confusing to users

Hey – there’s a note inside of the theme download which explains this “If you were using the Salient Visual Composer plugin version 4.9.2 before updating, you’ll need to delete the plugin from your plugins section in the WordPress admin panel before installing the current version (4.10) in Appearance > Install Plugins – This is necessary due to a bug in the Salient VC 4.9.2 which prevents regular updating.”

There appears to be an issue with Salient (tested both parent/child) portfolio elements and loading their associated images via HTTPS.
From testing the only pages that experience issues are using the shortcode/vc element to load Salient portfolio items. The thumbnails force load over HTTP as do any images directly inside a single portfolio element.
Filed a ticket regarding this but was directed to install a 3rd party plugin; not really ideal. :/
Would be nice if Salient portfolio would work with HTTPS, especially since Google is doing slight ranking increases if sites use SSL.
Also reported the page sub-menu issue I mentioned a few comments back; I got referred to a “Is your WP/Salient up to date” article. :/

I’ve made a site with this theme. Question: My menubar has the following items: HOME, OVER MIJ, SPECIALISME, PORTFOLIO, CONTACT.
When I click on “SPECIALISME”, a page will open. (I don’t want that.) When I click on “PORTFOLIO” a page will open too. (I don’t want that.)
When I click on “OVER MIJ”, no page will open. (That’s what I want!!)
How can I change “SPECIALISME” and “PORTFOLIO”

Hi salient, I installed your theme on one of my website and put a Nectar Slider on a page. When the page launches, it seems that Nectar slider have a sort of lazy load. A grey texture appears before the image. How can I tweak this texture so it’s a transparent one? Thx for your help

However, please check the theme in the Edge browser. It seems that some parts don’t work properly therein.

I am trying to make the logo larger on the iPhone (mobile). I’ve gone through all of the threads and none of them seems to be working. Originally, the logo did not get smaller until I added the social media icons feature to the top of the page. None of the snippets appear to be working in the threads. Thanks.
