Quick question, when I load my home page, two Linea icons fail to load about 80% of the time. http://www.xyloagency.com/

If you visit the home page, you’ll notice six linea icons directly below the page HTML Canvas header, the ones with the headings “Web & Digital” and “Logos & Branding” almost always fail to load, but the other 4 always load, not sure what could be causing this?

Issue with Anchor Link – using “Page Submenu”

When using this feature and linking to a row ID in the same page, it jumps to the row but about an inch lower instead of the very top of the row.

Basically overshooting the destination point.

Any fix for this?

Seem to have been a bizarre glitch in the latest update regarding custom content items. Prior to the update our next/prev buttons completely ignored these custom content portfolio items but since the update they are coming up and showing them as actual portfolio items which obviously is far from ideal.

Is this expected to be fixed or addressed?

Hi I received a response to ticket #691792 this morning. I applied the fix, but my portfolio, headers, carousel, blog posts, and any images with a tradition effect are not displaying.

As you can imagine, this is tough for a comic book based site. I’ve had to take the site down due to these errors. Please Respond to my ticket, I could use some help! Thanks.

Hi! I love love love salient. I have a few questions.

Sorry inadvance for the long comment post here but the guys who designed my site have the license details under their envato account & I don’t have their credentials so I couldn’t submit to your support system.

1) The easy insert of Google Analytics UA script is great & a super convenient feature but there’s a few things I miss going that route versus using Yoast’s Analytics Plugin which I have in the past on other sites a) tracking outbound clicks & PDF downloads as events which doesn’t seem to happen by default when adding the UA snip via Salient settings – adding onclick’s to each link is a bit tedious and doesn’t always work w buttons b) easily filtering out WP admin/editor user sessions from being tracked in GA

I liked your implementation bc it avoided having to add another plugin but I’m debating switching to Yoast’s Analytics for WordPress for those other reasons mentioned. Questions: 1) Is there a way to easilly set up similar outbound and download clicks globaly with Salient’s implementation with out having to add the Yoast Plugin? 2) If not, have you tested Yoast’s Analytics plugin with Salient? 3) Suggestions on best way to do this to avoid loss or delays in tracking? Between removing the GA script from Salient settings & installing/setting up the plugin, how long might it take to reflect in analytics?

2) We have Salient version 5.5 & excited/planning to update to 7+ once we figure out how much of our custom CSS will be affect. Our site can take a long while to load. It’s pretty fast after loaded but is slow on that all important initial load. We’re looking in to several options to improve performance, we’ve reduced image sizes where possible; analyzed to see which plugins may be resource intensive & which we could possibly delete; are evaluating using a CDN and/or switching WP hosts; etc. Question for you is it looks like in your version change logs there were some performance improvements & code efficiencies added in versions 6 & 7. Is the performance improvement significant. Do you think that would help?

I ask bc my site guys think there were some changes in the new versions which may effect our custom CSS so may be some man-hours involved (paying them as well as my time doing QA). The new features in the new versions are cool nice to haves but my main motivator in updating is the performance enhancements. Other than speed/load times site works great so trying to avoid drastic changes or having to update or custom CSS unless necessary.

Thanks in advance for your help/advice/tips. Again amazing theme. I’ve worked with a lot of themes in the past or developed custom themes and this is by far the best all-in-theme I’ve come across.

Hi Nectar, I have a short question concerning the portfolio view. Here is the site: http://www.sparksupply.de/reisen/ I added external links to the items but some links will open up in a new tab (e.g. WayGo) whereas others do open in the same tab (e.g. Polarsteps). What is the reason for that and is there any way how to fix it so that all open in a new tab? Cheers!

Great theme. Love it compared to the other ones offered by themeforest. I was looking through the comments and was able to get rid of the portfolio arrows but not the little grid in the middle.

I’d like to get rid of the grid + gray bar all together. This is the code I have in my css:

Hi, I need to place 3 separate google maps on a page. This seems to be bugged. Sometimes some of the maps do not display and sometimes they change to what I’ve set another one to.
