As you can see here : https://woffice.io/changelog/ (June 25th, 2015 – Version 1.1.2), we’ve added the compatibility with BigBlueButton.

So yes you can do video Conferences using BigBlueButton in Woffice. There might be some other plugins but we haven’t tested theme yet.

Well even if I totally agree with you, it’s not planning for technical reasons. Actually the Wiki extension built-in Woffice is using the theme’s framework : Unyson (unyson.io). And creating a plugin would require to break these dependancies to the framework. And basically it means building it again from scratch. We’re focussing 100% on Woffice and the support behind for now. But we might consider plugins development later. But to be honest, nothing planned yet. But Woffice is cool as well

Regarding you your questions. You can use some Wordpress plugins to add these kind of features, like : https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-statistics

Sure, users can Reset their password whenever they want, through their profile if they’re logged in and want to change it. Or on the custom Login page, it’s not enabled by default but we have an option to turn it on.

The theme is already translated in Spanish by the way.

Thanks for your quick reply. Some follow-up questions:

1. The link you sent is redirected to the demo login page so I couldn’t view it. http://alka-web.com/woffice-business/theme-settings-screens/ If possible, would very much like to view the admin screens.

2. Have you checked recently if WP-statistics is compatible with your theme? I understand you cannot guarantee third-party plugins, but reporting is a key feature for us.

3. Password reset – sorry if I wasn’t clear. Let me clarify my question a bit: a) Is there on the login page a ”Forgot your password” link so users can retrieve a new password if they forget theirs? I think you answered this question with: ”Or on the custom Login page, it’s not enabled by default but we have an option to turn it on.” Will you help us customize or is in this in the next release of the software?

b) Can the Administrator add users and send out an automatic invitation for them to join the intranet? (Similar to adding users to WP, an email can optionally be sent with a link, username and password.)

4. Can the Admin block users/email addresses?

5.Just need to make sure the intranet does not have a sign-up option, where users can register and add themselves.

Here we go :

1. Just login to the demo and then copy/past the link in your browser’s URL bar so you’ll be able to access the screenshots.

2. This plugin acts on the backend side, well and inject some JS in the footer but no big deal. That’ll work right out of the box with Woffice.

3. a) Yes it’s already available. It’s an option in the theme settings. b) Yes, it’s a Wordpress theme so basically all the Wordpress features are still here. And you can add any plugin to improve that. All these things are acting on the backend side and don’t interact with the frontend (Woffice) so you shouldn’t have any conflict.

4. Using a plugin, sure. There are plenty WP plugins about that.

5. It’s a Wordpress option, so if you keep it unchecked (default state) the register option won’t be available.

Yes of course, it’s a Wordpress theme so we’re pretty good at all the blog stuff. Woffice has also some options to make your community participate in your posts if you wish. You can choose what kind of user can post blog article from the Frontend.

Glad you like it. Yes, it has been testing and optimized for community with up to 20 000 users. But you can handle many more as long as you’re running on a good server.

Yes, it’s all SQL queries, so Woffice won’t be the issue here. And we’ve made significant improvements in the past months in order to improve each database request.

Notification icon in the header works with ajax, so it’s not necessary to refrash page to display the notifications.

Yes we have an option to limit the register to users with a specific email address. You can add as many restricted emails as you like in fact.

The Google Oauth login is getting done in Woffice files so you can change it easily.

Thanks for your interest in Woffice.

You can set all the site as “public”, all your pages will be accessible by any visitor. Once this option checked you can even set individual pages private so these page can be set as private. But by default, with this option, all pages will be public.

And we have quite a lot of users using it as a “public” site, so you’ll find a bunch of features for that (page builder, slider…)

The theme is already translated in Italian and we provide Italian support as well

1. Where is the landing page? In school demo, normally when you create a course, it shows specific courses in your landing page.

2. You can use our page builder to make a page like that, but that’ll be with the Woffice style. Or you can use another theme for the landing page, if you need something different.

3. Thrive is a really good theme, main difference is that we have much more features (you can see that on the price) and the feature list. It’s another style. We’re working really hard to make Woffice different and unique, see https://woffice.io/changelog/ Woffice might be more multipurpose as well. But main difference is on design and number of customers.

4. We have an option to make it horizontal, it’s your call

5. We have different pas templates, but we strongly believe that unity is important in the user experience. So you won’t find any totally different template. We keep the same layout and then the user can customize each page (sidebar, page title box, image) and use our drag & drop page builder to build any kind of page template. You can also use the Revolution Slider on each page.

1) No, we can send you all the details or screenshots about it but we don’t provide any admin demo because that’d be a lot of work to maintain it (visitors deleting users, content, site…). Well we do for bulk sales (10+ licenses).

2) Yes you can change all the colors, icons. You can also change the default state (close/open) and the width. There is also an option to make it vertical.

3) Because, the forum is on a different demo. So it redirect to another demo (community). But on your site all will be one the same site. So you won’t have these “new tab link” or “login again” issues.

You can use the Megamenu extension for that but otherwise we don’t support third menu levels. Well it might work for some of them but even after hours of work on it isn’t perfect.
