Is there a way to have a full-width page but contain the content to the boxed width? i.e. I want a section to have background image with a full width but the text over the top to be contained to the page width of 980px (NOTE: I don’t want to use Visual Composer)

sure, use the theme’s [content_block] shortcode for that.

I never had problems with your theme until now. But after I downloaded and updated the latest verion, after few days my WP back-end became extremely, but extremely sloowww… I have to wait minutes, around 7-8 minutes, for a page to load.
I know my support period expired, but I would really appreciate if you would do some check to this issue.

I still encounter problems. The dashboard loads a little faster, but when I need to edit pages, it takes a looot of time.

then, it must be something else, most likely a third party plugin that you have, you can disable some plugins to find out. You could also have a very slow hosting, there are too many variables that could factor in.

I’m experiencing a problem with the VC plugin included with the theme, and certain theme elements. Element added to rows & column layouts (Icons, images, forms) just suddenly vanish. This extends to the header logo as well. The code is being output on inspection, but noting is visible. I’ve already shut off all plugins & tried only with Visual Composer but still having problem. not sure if it’s them related or VC. Reaching out to them as well. – http://social.bluewiremedia.com

I extended my support for another 6 months. I try to log into your support forum, but it says: “View Only” because you have never signed in with Envato to confirm your support status.

I am signed into envato and look in my apps and see u-design support forum granted access.

I cant get support. I took over the website for a local firm. They have this U design theme installed and just updated (Re-purchased) the theme yesterday.

This them appears to remove all attempts to place schema into the site. Is there a way to turn off this?

I need to add microdata or Json data. I have tried multiple plugins and even tried to place the data on the page. How can I make this theme function with Schema?

Hi Jeff,

you need to sign in in the forum via the green button there at the sign in page. Click the button that says “Sign in with Envato”, it’s a SSO (single sign on) method of signing in so you won’t have to deal with purchases or passwords. Leave the username and pass blank.

Hello Andon, I paid for access to support for the uDesign theme site (http://dreamthemedesign.com/u-design-support/) yesterday and I’m still being listed as “read only”). So I can’t actually respond to the issues in support or post any follow up information. I’m still listed as “downgraded.” Any way to fix that?

I don’t think you successfully updated the theme, try again but this time try “Method 2” as described in the forum here: http://dreamthemedesign.com/u-design-support/discussion/13/how-do-i-update-the-theme

Once you update it make sure to go to the theme’s Settings page and “Save” it, then clean caching and you should be good to go :)
