So I have been using Salient for a while, but I have not updated because of the issue that the Visual Composer refuses to show up on my site, and I mean it works in the admin panel, but none of the features show up right now. I am extremely stressed because the only reason I forced myself to update is because the 4.3 composer which I originally bought was having a ton of bugs on the portfolio section.
The issue seems to be with the portfolio, the sliders, and other custom graphics, because the navigation and typography seem to work just fine.
I will add I have gone through the following steps so I would appreciate a little bit more of a serious response then directing me to a troubleshoot page:
- Uninstalled manually the Visual composer plugin - Tried Shutting on and off the other plugins - Tried building brand new sections on the website to no avail. - Refreshed my browser, cache, computer and plumbing - Updated my php from 5.4 to 5.5
- and yes… my wordpress is 100% up-to-date
Yes, I have also posted two tickets, neither of which has been responded to.

Would you please take a look at this link: www.grupocts.com, and send an email through the contact form on a mobile device? The “message sent” messages covers all the contact form with a white background box. It was happening on desktop too, but i fixed it with a css lines, but it didn’t work on mobile (specifically i’m having this error on an iphone 6, but guess it is happening in other mobile devices too.

Hey – currently I can’t see this occurring on an iPhone, have you tried clearing your cache since you added the css?
can we have an option to select a color for the divider line? seems like this should have been implemented a long time ago….

1. It seems in the website you’ve linked that they’re using a plugin or third party to generate those forms
2. You need to turn off the boxed layout you have on – this can be done in the Salient options panel > boxed layout

The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.8, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.

I’m having a really bizarre issue, and it looks like at least a few others are experiencing the same thing. My “hamburger” menu icon works fine on desktop, but on mobile, it shows as an actual hamburger emoji. And when you click on it, the “close” button is a fireworks emoji. No clue what needs to be done to fix it. I tried deactivating plugins.
Additionally, the logo in the header doesn’t appear on mobile.
This all started happening after I updated to the newer version of Salient.

I’m seeing the same issue on every Salient site that is linked on this page. Only seeing the issue on Safari on one iphone 6. Tested on an iphone 6s, and not seeing the same issue on Safari.

Wondering if it’s an issue with my phone more so than with Salient, but I’ve seen other people commenting here that they have the same issue.
browserstack.com doesn’t show that on an iPhone 6 so I’m currently in the process of investigating it further

how can I edit the color of the mobile menu logo, which opens the menu? It my version it is white – like the whole background. So visitors cant see the menu on mobile version…

Hi, I’m using tabs on the website http://bit.ly/1PlTMAh (see menu-item ‘Producten’).
The tabs are looking good on desktops. But if I check it on my smartphone it’s looking like this: http://s13.postimg.org/6ewybm8kn/2016_03_21_08_45_41.png. As you can see here the tabs have all different lengths. Is it possible to make the tabs full width on smartphones?

Thank you! I just replied back as well. The problem seems to have been solved, but now the mobile menu is significantly lower than it used to be. Visually, I very much liked where it was placed originally as the lower content is now cut off and there is a lot of empty top space. Is there any way to get it to work without lowering it out of the default position?
