Hi, this theme looks awesome, and I’m enjoying building a new site with it. Two quick questions: 1) what image sizes did you use for the Woocommerce images in your demo (i.e. as set in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Image sizes – catalog, single, and thumbnail sizes)? I checked your documentation but didn’t find this info. 2) how can I get rid of the recommended plugins message in the WP admin backend? I don’t want to install or activate all of the plugins, because I don’t need them, but whenever I close the notification, it keeps coming up. Usually, there’s an option to “ignore/dismiss” and the notification stops showing.

Here are images sizes we use: Catalog – 600×800, Single product – 1200×1800 and thumbnails – 280×280.

Awesome – thanks for the image sizes! Here’s a screenshot of the message that won’t go away: http://imgur.com/dLvjStM (I tried clicking the X at the top right, since that’s my only option. Other themes, I use have a link that I can click that dismisses the message permanently.)
If necessary, I can copy and paste some code into the child theme’s functions.php file to hide it until you get this fixed in the next theme update.

Yes, it is our issue that users can’t dismiss plugins notice. To fix this just open file inc/theme-setup.php and change the following line:
‘dismissable’ => false,
to
‘dismissable’ => true,
You can do this in your parent theme, anyway we will fix this in the next update.

Hi, can you please double-check your WooCommerce product image settings? I just checked a couple of your product images, and they are 870×1110…which isn’t the same proportion as 1200×1800.
For example: http://demo.xtemos.com/basel/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/bag-25.jpg is the featured product image for http://demo.xtemos.com/basel/shop/bags/nombined-strapped-backpack/

Sizes are correct, but original sizes of our images are 870×1110 and they cannot be larger.

Ok, I set the Woocommerce product images exactly as you wrote above, and I uploaded a 870×1110 product image to a product and assigned it to both the featured image and image gallery, so that I could check the sizes. The catalog and single product sizes seem to match up with the demo just fine, but the gallery thumbnail does not. I’m guessing that’s probably because the product thumbnail size shouldn’t be 280×280 (since that’s a square). Here’s a screenshot so you can see: http://imgur.com/e4Z9i09
Please, check is “Crop” option is enabled for thumbnails. You need to disable it and then regenerate thumbnails.

Yes, if you want to save the original images proportion just disable it.

ok, great. I am seriously considering your theme. I am really impressed by your admin options panel. But, I wonder, will it be easy to convert to a dark theme?
Our theme doesn’t have dark version option, but we can do such customization as a paid service only. It will need a lot of CSS changes to make all texts on your site in light colors.

Love the theme but just reporting a bug. The Child Theme does not work. We install it, activate it and then start adding our modifications to the theme (such as CSS + HTML/PHP changes) but the changes never work. Even when using !important tag. Nothing we change in the child theme is ‘seen’ on the website.
Please look and get back to us. I’ve purchased, installed and modified over 250 ThemeForest WordPress themes, so have a lot of experience with web development and to me, the child theme simply doesnt work.

There is not really any other details I can give you other than the fact that the child theme does not work and is something you should investigate. Try it yourself at your end.
Yes, we tested our child theme and seems that all changes we put in style.css and functions.php files work correct. Could you provide more information about what exactly doesn’t work for you?

Hi, I consider to buy this theme. I see you offer 2 menues the top navigation which is in one line with the shopping cart and a responsing menue underneath in black in your demo.
Is this a seperate menue I can ad or are these the subpages of chosen Toplevel page?
2nd question: Is it possible to combine these 2 menue styles with a sidebar menue for exaple to sort by attributes.

We didn’t implement AJAX add to cart on the single product to not modify core woocommerce behaviour and prevent any incompatibility with additional plugins.

1) Yes, you will be able to upload any images for your filters and variations. Our demo has only color filters, but you will be able to create with your own images (like face shape filter)
2) Unfortunately, there is no such option. We will consider to add this function in the future.
