Ok. But i mean the annotations from youtube. Problem with JW6 player is, you cannot hide it. when emmbedded video. it will show in youtube html5 player, not in JW

Unfortunately, our theme has not yet supported FaceBook video.

So, for the video URL in form of FaceBook, you need to upload the featured image for it manually to work correctly.

You can try to follow some steps to fix this issue:

- Before, your size need to be registered on the function file

After that, you can go to edit truemag/functions.php and find: add_image_size(‘thumb_520×293’,520,293, true);

- Edit it to: add_image_size(‘thumb_520×293’,640,380, true);

Note: 640, 380 -> your image size

- Save and run Regenerate thumbnail plugin to generate image again

Hopefully, this will help you fix your image quality.

After a few tries of your solution above which also involve me deleting all posts and thumbs and cache in the hope of getting better quality thumbnails didn’t work at all. Everything stayed the same!

One more time, I’m gonna give you guys proof that thumbs in TrueMag could be and should be improved with an update, not by me or any customer fiddling with the code on our own. I’ve gone out and search for carousel plugins. I bought a relatively new plugin in codecanyon.net called Pro Slider & Carousel Layout for Visual Composer. As soon as I’ve set it up and compare it with your own carousel, it is very much noticeable that the plugin has way better thumbs quality than the native TrueMag carousel. You can see it for yourself on the site Visit The Page Here; Pro Slider & Carousel Layout for Visual Composer plugin is the one set on top and your native carousel below it. They are both using the same set of images from the Media Library. So, please tell me that it is not obvious that the plugin output the thumbs wayyy clearer than your native TrueMag? There’s no arguing it at this stage!

So, my point here is not to be an asshole to you guys but rather to point to you the obvious: A fix is needed in TrueMag when it comes to its handling in displaying thumbnails. It is a fix that most of your customers would appreciate. So, it has to come in the form of an update. I have some other issues with TrueMag that also need a discussion but I’ll wait for the thumb situation to get handle as it is priority number one!

Please allow me to explain a little bit more.

All Truemag thumbnail sizes are created for displaying at a normal desktop resolution.

But there are 2 cases, a page has Sidebar and No-sidebar. We’ve made an option “Columns” for Smart Content box shortcode, to handle this issue.

We will need to choose “6 columns” for no-sidebar page, that’s proper way. If you want to use 4 columns layout in no-sidebar page, you need to edit theme’s code.

Another issue, in retina display, some thumbnail possitions look not sharp. We could create tons of 2x thumbnail size, but Envato does not allow too many thumbnail sizes at the same time. So we’ve decided to pick nearest-and-bigger size available for retina screen. It’s might not perfect, but lots customers like it.

We’re always asked for reducing thumbnail sizes to save bandwidth, space, for speed up site, high googlge page speed grade… Hope you understand.

Or you could send us more detail about your low quality thumbnail possitions & admin login info, we will help you to improve it.

I guess what you are saying by pointing me to other options is you don’t want to do my suggestion, no problem. I installed a plugin that does what I asked you to put in the theme it puts a login image and also links to the front page of the site. Sorry to bother you with a suggestion (sarcasm)
