You need to go to Appearance / Customize / Site identity and add your favicon from there. We would put this in our theme options but this is requirement by ThemeForest and WordPress standard and we had to follow this rule.

Im using this theme from a couples of months now and have a request: Can you please add Next Previous Post like your Voice Theme? I have used Voice theme on my other site and its Next Previous feature with large Thumbnails work really well to increase pageviews. My second question is: How to automatically update theme when using Child Theme? I am using it and added ThemeForest API key but still i am using an old version of theme.

Yes, we have this on our updates list – I cannot promise you anything but maybe we will include this in our next update.
Have you tried to go to Dashboard / Updates and Click “Check Again” – sometimes WordPress needs to refresh its transient. Everything should work with child theme.

Hi, I’ve already bought VOICE some time ago but it doesn’t full support Custom Post Type, even if I think it’s a great theme. So, does HERALD support styling for CPT ?

What do you mean by styling for CPT? If you want to list CPT on home page you can do this with Voice and with Herald. If you want to have single post for CPT you will have styling like in theme because WordPress will use single.php template for CPT single post display.

If you choose video post format for specific post, video will be displayed on single post pages instead of a featured image. However, on post listing pages, you will need to have a featured image.
Here, you can check this plugin which will automatically create featured images from youtube video specified in a post. Maybe this may help. https://wordpress.org/plugins/video-thumbnails/

Basically, you will need to use a plugin which handles social meta data properly as this is rather an issue on a website level and we cannot control this via theme.

Hello! Loving the theme thus far… Unfortunately, I made a slight boo boo and deleted some things prematurely. Is there anyway to reset everything back to its original state so I can start fresh? I literally mean everything. Excuse me for being ignorant in doing so

I recently fixed all the issues I had and currently do not need a reset. But I would really appreciate your help in telling me how can I ensure that only the thumbnail and title of a blog post shows when I share a post to Facebook? Currently, the author, date & read times show. I cannot seem to find out how to turn this off when sharing to ensure that only the thumbnail and title are visible when sharing to social media. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to list posts in chronological order in the posts module?
I have a series of posts (that are numbered) and I would like for the oldest to show first (which would be where I want the reader to the start).

Currently there is no way to mix this two. We rely more on our module builder since we think that its integrated nicely with theme and easy to use without any overhead that you have with Visual Composer. Once you un-install visual composer you will get bunch of shortcodes on your page without any purpose.

We use custom taxonomies for classifying our content in various ways. On the home page we want to show articles by custom taxonomy. That requires that in modules, we filter the content by custom taxonomy tags. How should we do that?

I think that you can show posts manually by picking their post ID when you are adding posts via module builder. Thant should do trick.
