quick question, on your school demo, each profile has the option for “Media” in their profile, but after installing the demo content this isnt an option. do i need to enable it somewhere in the dashboard?

Hello,

When you see the members in School Demo, you can see the the number of users. My question is that when you click specific user and go to his/her page, you have limited access to information if you did not “ADD FRIEND”?

And on the other hand, if you already added as a friend, you have access to more information?

Hello,

For example, ‘A’ sends ‘friend request’ to ‘B’. And ‘B’ accepts the ‘friend request’. And then ‘A’ can see ‘B’s information such as his email address, mobile number, hobbies and so on. But if ‘B’ does not accept ‘friend request’, ‘A’ cannot see ‘B’s information at all OR just basic information such as name and gender. _

As we’re compatible with Wooccommerce, you can use this plugin : https://www.woothemes.com/products/product-vendors/

But if you find any other which work with Woocommerce + Buddypress, that should work right out of the box with Woffice.

Have you ever considered your plugins being made available without the theme? Everyone in buddypress wants a user geo directory!

Thank you for your interest in Woffice, we already thought about that. But most of the features are developed under Woffice’s framework : Unyson. So it’s pretty hard to use them as “plugins”. That’s why we keep everything under the theme. It’s easier for everyone that way ;)

I understand, its so sad as the functions are amazing but most people cant ditch the themes they are using and all thier pre-built work , yours is brilliant and I wish we could use both

Thanks :) Yes, I understand your point of view. Well if you have some pretty good PHP skills you can copy/past and adapt in a plugin. Nothing really hard I guess as we’ve already written all the code behind.

Same theme, 2 different examples. But there isn’t any change in the files. It’s just used with different plugins and styling preferences. But you can mix everything if that’s better for you ;)

I liked your theme too much and that what actually i want, i just have one inquiry before purchasing, is it easy to make the business pages with simmilar featurs of buddypress users, to have tabs and cover image and avatar, or it will need advanced developer to do it, thanks in advance

Thanks for your interest in our theme. It’s running on Wordpress, it isn’t the best CMS for nothing. Really easy. Just click “Activate Buddypress” when you’ve installed the Theme (see https://woffice.io/documentation/). That’ll set up the profiles and avatars. For the cover image, Woffice Extensions > Cover Images > Enable, and you’re good. You can also use the “one click” install to get started like our demo in 30 sec, see : https://2f.ticksy.com/article/5643/

Hi, I am trying to create a site where my personal customers can login and have forums and notes that I post regarding their specific accounts. Therefore non of the other users will be able to view it as information is private. Can that be done with this theme or is this community based and can’t have a Unique Forum, Events, and Media data for every Unique customer that signs in?

Thanks for your interest in Woffice. You can have personal note for each user. So you can add any information and no one else will be able to see it. Same for the files. However that won’t be a forum. There isn’t any personal forum. Or maybe some BBpress plugin for that, but I’ve never heard about this.

Thank you very much for your interest in our product. Well Woffice doesn’t have any built-in forum. Because it’s a Wordpress theme. Wordpress theme already has an amazing plugin for the forum : https://bbpress.org/

You can plug any other plugin to Buddypress and that should work just fine with Woffice.

hi, i go t a question. if i want to connect project to group but right now i need to create a project category with the same name of created group. That i wanto to do, it’s all user can create category so they can connect all project to all groups they want.

Hi, I would like to use the website and intranet. I’ve got a couple of questions:

1) How will the administrator page look like? is it possible to give permission per user what to see and what not to see ? 2) Can I as administrator add events to the agenda of my staff? 3) Is it possible to make folders available per logged in user (example: user A is logged in. there is a file called user A, User A must be the only one who can see and acces the folder) 4) Is it possible for me as a administrator to add specific information to user profiels ? 5) Is is possible to make a difference between office staff (They need more access) and fieldstaff ?

Thanks for your interest in our product :)

1. It’s actually the Wordpress dashboard (all the backend side). Yes, you can create roles for each user. Then choose to display any content according to the user’s role. We’ve many features about that.

2. Yes, when you create an event, you can choose the event’s members. So you can pick any of your users.

3. If it’s only one file per user, you should use the BuddyDrive plugin, that’ll create a personal folder for each member. Otherwise, same idea, you create as many roles as you like and then you can display a page with some files for member A and another one for member B. Everything will be safe.

4. Yes, you can do that through the backend.

5. User Roles ;)

is there anyway to give access to a user to multiple projects without having to do it one by one?

If he’s administrator, that’ll be done by default. Otherwise you can add multiple users to each project at one time. But if you need that user to have access to all projects. I should create a new role for this user and then change the condition in the code that check if the user is allowed to see the project (woffice/framework-customizations/extensions/woffice-projects/helpers.php).

Hi, is possible to show the wordpress backend just for the Editors? I mean the wordpress topbar menu that give the possibility to the backend access. How can I doit? I have to install a Plugin?

I feel totally ignored in the ticket that I have open in the support Forum. I have two big problem that I’m trying to fix but the first solution is still not working (for the Editor admin bar) and I don’t receive any reply for the other issue.

Because we have 20+ tickets everyday. And we reply from the oldest to the newest. So yes I see all the ticket but we’re actually a team of 3 on the support so no one is working 24/24. That’s why something it takes up to a day. As I already said, please don’t re-reply to the ticket with a message like “Please reply”, it’s just putting your ticket at the end of the queue. Then, Denish is on your ticket, I’m sure he’ll reply soon. We’ll be there this weekend as well. Furthermore, when we have less tickets we’ll reply way faster but remember we’re also working on the Woffice updates.
