Hi, while doing some customization work on Theme Options we accidentally click the “Options Reset” button which we thought would just reset the Menu options. We are customizing the church template but now it reverted back to the original avada theme. Is there a way to revert to the previous settings we have? We already added some custom css. Thanks.

Unfortunately the reset button does revert all of your saved options to their default values. There is no option in Avada to undo the reset, you would need to ask your host to restore a database backup from before you reset the options.

You can also export your current configuration in the “backup” tab. So if you want to reset but also save your current configuration, export it first on the “backup” tab, then reset. You can always import the settings back
Hi, just before I purchase theme, I want to make sure it’s the right tool for me.
I have an existing website that I want to make responsive for mobile.
I have tried many things so far with coding and its not exactly right. The widgets areas are not responding well to @media in CSS and breaking my theme
Can I use this theme as a tool to make my current WP theme be responsive for mobile?

Avada is a standalone theme in itself, not a tool that can be used with another theme. So while it is a fully responsive theme, you cannot use it to make another theme responsive. You would need to use deactivate your current theme and rebuild your site using Avada.

The shortcodes.php file no longer exists (and hasn’t for a while!). If you purchased Avada before September 1st 2015, you are eligible for grandfather’d support. Can you please head on over to our support center and submit a ticket with a bit more information about what you’re trying to adjust?

Just redownloaded the theme and the layerslider does not exist. Need help!

The LS is inside the theme package, when you install Avad it will allow you to also install LS and Rev slider. Go to “Avada > Plugins” in the backend menu, it’s on the left sidebar.

Currently we rely on the default WP gallery for that, or you can use our built in portfolio feature, or any of the available gallery plugins on the market, many are free. Yes you should be able to set a single url for an image.

I have a couple questions as I’m looking at using this for a large WP project. I bought this theme but have not used it yet.
1) Is there an example of the mega menu on any of the demos? I’ve seen the shop drop down has an image- just wondering if there is a better demo showing what it’s capable of?
2) The page builder: I’ve used page builders before (Divi theme) that are not visual composer that if the theme is ever changed in the future, all text disappears from the website as it is eaten up by the plugin or theme files. If the theme is changed at any time, does the text remain or is it a similar situation that all page text disappears if put back to 2015 or similar default theme?

1 – If you go to this demo -> http://avada.theme-fusion.com/classic-shop/ – and hover over the ‘Categories’ menu item, you will see the mega menu in action
2 – No, the content you crate and add to any page or post will not disappear if you switch to another theme, or even if you disable the Fusion Builder. All of that data is stored in the database, safely
