You should install and use Contact Form 7 plugin, to create a sign up input field, and connect it to mailchimp extension for contact form 7 to achieve the desired result.
Once you create your form in WP admin, you can add it anywhere on your homepage with Contact Form 7 element from Visual Composer.

Hello I am making a portfolio site for a client, and it’s showing perfectly in Chrome, but in Safari and Firefox the single portfolio pages have some images which are showing up huge and seem to be ignoring the formatting. Is there a way to set maximum height (in pixels) for images across all browsers? Thank you!

I used Qode Slider in order to create a header image. On normal screen size it works well but on smaller screen sizes it creates a white space on the bottom after scrolling down. Is there a way to change this? Thank you

Note that this can happen if you’re manually re-sizing browser window – since the script is re-doing the calculations on page reload. So you need to reload browser window. There will be no problem on the real device/screen of any size.
Also, for touch devices, check if you’ve disable parallax effect (Qode Options -> Parallax).

Good morning, A while ago , I bought the Bridge Theme. Now I ‘m working with and wanted to install a demo that paragraph to import does not appear. On the contact page I am using the Contact Page template.
Then I am choosing the page to have a Sidebar 1/3 right and no matter what widget i choose in the ‘Choose Widget Area in Sidebar’, it will not display.
Could you please help me and tell me hat I am doing wrong?

Hi Adam,
Unfortunately, you can’t use Sidebar for the Contact Page template, like for other pages.
You should use default/full width page template if you need sidebar, and create your form with Contact Form 7 plugin in that case, and use some of the map elements from Visual Composer for your map.

We have had an issue with the paragraphs since we last updated? I have noticed that’s its made all of our copy on the site really small. When I go to change the settings it in Qode options and save nothing happens yet when I change the headers it works.

I’m trying to shrink the space between the headline and the content in the Bridge theme but when i add the value 0 or blank there is still a substantial space between the headline and content.

In Qode Options -> Title, set the desired margin after title area, that will actually be top padding for the content section http://screencast.com/t/l9N5lOrQC
Also make sure that you don’t have any top padding set for the first row on your pages. If you need to still reduce the space, submit a ticket with a link to your site to our support at https://qode.ticksy.com , and they’ll see what’s causing it and provide some css to eliminate it.

Hi Qode, I bought Bridge for my own use and now have installed it again on a real estate agent’s site, http://www.dianajh.com/, to see how it works with the flexmls search app. There is something in the theme code that is fighting with the app and keeping the slideshows and buttons from working? If you refresh the page it works fine. I have tried other simple themes and it works fine but when I activate the Bridge theme the problem comes back. I think I need to disable the Google Maps js. Just guessing. Hope you can help. If I can get it fixed I will for sure be purchasing your beautiful theme once again. Thank you.

The first thing you should try is disabling ajax page transition. In Qode Options -> General, set Page Transition to No Animation.

how can i translate the google maps information from the Quode options. For multi-language websites it would be need if the address information,? displayed when clicking the cursor could be translated as country names are different in different languages.
If thats not possible, how can i hide the link for clicking on the cursor?

Unfortunately, the address that opens in this mini popup when you click on pin can not be translated.
You can only remove the pin with custom css, for example adding this in Qode Options -> General -> Custom CSS field:

1. For each row/section that you want to be targeted from your menu links, you need to set unique Anchor ID http://screencast.com/t/UJB968LibV
2. In Appearance -> Menus, add Custom Links and enter the Anchor ID of the row it should target, with the leading hash symbol (#) in the field labeled URL

Can’t believe I worked all weekend on localhost just to find out you don’t have a way to export the custom options.
I imported my modified database and the data seems to be there, but once you enter the site, everything is blank.

Hi. We’ve just installed your demo 7 on our website www.cindynoema.com. Have several issues:
1) Parallax is not working on mobile devices, in spite of being enabled on Qode Options (“on touch devices”). In stead, a grey background is seen, not even the pictures that are supposed to show as parallaxed background. We talked about that issue before and you supposed it was because of the way you have the demos installed on your server. Now, it is on our server, active and is NOT WORKING! Do you have o solution for this issue or we should ask for a refund?
2) We chose the “Medium Image” format for our Blog. When we changed that “child” page to a “parent”, main blog, the template just disappeared and it is showing the “large image” in stead. Moreover, when we look in the template list, this one does not show there. There are all other templates, except this one. Looked among the Visual Composer options and not there either. How can we recover that template and have it as our Blog main template, please?

OK. I’ve just seen that your original “medium image” is now, in “Qode Blog Options”, “small images”. I’ve toggled this one and I’ve got the template we were looking for. However, Parallax is still not working on iPhones (tested both on 5 and 6). And still need to find out what to do with your logo (still appearing after being deleted from header’s options)...

Note that for optimal viewing experience, we recommend keeping this option (Parallax on touch devices) disabled, as touch devices might not optimally display the parallax effect, since this animation works on scroll, and it touch devices are not the best groundwork for it. When disabled, a static image will be displayed without the parallax functionality.
As for the logo, as we can see, in Qode Options -> Logo, you haven’t uploaded you logo in the fields for it, it’s still using default Bridge logo that came imported with demo content http://screencast.com/t/LkBT94j1Wgf2
Just upload your own logo there in all the fields.

Hi. Thank you for your reply. However,
1) If these theme does not support properly Parallax on touch devices, we would like to return it and ask for a refund. There are plenty of other themes that work perfectly on any touch device. You didn’t say that on your description, before the purchase… You should specify your theme has parallax only for desktop/laptop devices… So, if you are not able to make it work, please let me know and I’ll ask Envato for a refund. Most people surf web today on touch devices than on computer. (Besides, no static image is displayed when disabled, but a blank space in stead).
2) We have not uploaded a logo because we don’t want/need to have one, for the type of website we are working on. It is the personal site/blog of an artist. We can use the css you sent us to remove the Bridge logo (it is a pain it has not disappeared with just removing it from the Qode options.

1. The Parallax effect we created for our theme, is not basic one with fixed background, our is based on scroll, and there’s no real scroll on touch devices. It works properly on Android devices, but it might not work properly in Safari (Apple devices).
The static image should be displayed instead, there’s no problem with that. We apologies and understand if this is not acceptable for you.
2. By just not uploading the logo – you don’t remove it, default one will be displayed calling our demo logo. To remove it totally from showing – either with custom css (recommended), or to edit the header.php file structure.

OK. Thanks for replying. I’ve thought it was something your were able to fix… We are going to ask for a refund, definitely. There are other themes that work fine with parallax on any type of iOS touch devices, also based on “scroll”. And this was a feature we have been looking for, since the beginning. In your case, not even a static image is displayed instead, but a blank space! Regards.
