Hi, I would like to change the text that appears at the bottom of the single portfolio pages. It says now next/previous project. I would like to change the word ‘project’ in another word. Could you tell me where this information is coming from so I can change it? Thank you!

The easiest way for this would be to use the Loco Translate plugin which would scan all your words and then you can replace them to any optional word.

Hi Art, I installed the plugin but it is a translation plugin without an option to scan words, so I don’t understand how this helps. Can’t you just tell me where the word ‘project’ is loaded from? Thanks!

To translate/rename theme strings, you can do this via Loco Translate plugin. If you don’t have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.
1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations
2. Click “New Language” for the current active theme (if you didn’t created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc
3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w
4. Follow these instructions to learn how to translate strings – http://d.pr/i/1jsek
5. The changes will be applied immediately – http://d.pr/i/1ju6w
Note: Translation files will be saved to wp-content/themes/{theme-name}/languages folder. Here you have the explanation – http://d.pr/i/1lBCJ
After you make your changes, always save a backup when there is new theme update. After you update the theme (languages folder will be replaced), just move the backup files you previously saved to the same languages directory and your changes will still be applied.

Is it possible to use the portfolio builder on a custom post type? I’m guessing I can use add_meta_box but what values would it be? Which file is this set in?

Love your theme and have been thinking about buying it for a while now. Have two questions:
1- Can your fullscreen menu be edited meaning move position of menu options so it can have a much bigger more detailed menu with sub menus also.
2- Can your top menu be edited so it does not push the website page down but instead overlaps. Also can the height of the top menu be adjusted? As above I want to create something like a mega menu.

1. The fullscreen menu has some options in it so some essentials can be changed through the Theme Options and some others can only be changed manually.
2. It has to be done manually to not push the page down because this is not included in the theme options, we are planning to include a mega menu in the future update Kalium 2.0 which will be available soon.

We don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work to you too. Can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

Hi,
i have a problem with the align of the footer, i found the code here for appen the footer in the body of the page, this code:
footer.main-footer { position: fixed !important; z-index: 99999 !important; bottom: 0px !important; width: 100% !important; background-color: transparent !important; }
But in one page the align works well (footer left and footer right)

Hi Art! I just solved.
I investigated a long, the problem was in the “About Page” in “Custom CSS” this class: ”.social-networks {text-align: center !important;}” for align the social network icon in the center of container owerwrite the settings of the social network in the footer.
I delete the class ”.social-networks” and remove the social network icons in the about page (the reason is, I did not want the connections to social networks duplication, only in the footer in my case are sufficient ) and now the footer works well.

Hello, I created a post grid with Visual Composer. I have two problems: 1. How can I have the post link to a different url other than the post itself. I need it to go to one of the portfolio items or just not link anywhere at all.
2. when the post display within the grid, all the styles and p brakes are lost . Can I do anything to fix this?

I am having one issue though. If i use your vimeo blog post example and place a youtube video link in it they behave differently. The Youtube post will display the feature image and the youtube video in the post page, so it looks like it is on the page twice.
I would just not add a feature image to youtube videos but i also use the blog posts widget on the front page and without the feature image it does not show any image.

I have added this in our todo list and will provide a better solution in the upcoming updates about this.

Hi There, I created a page based on the default template. With Visual Composer I added a post grid: reveal_effect=”fadeInLab”]vc_basic_grid post_type=”post” max_items=”10” style=”lazy” items_per_page=”20” element_width=”3” grid_id=”vc_gid:1459645270578-c25945b4bfd5bbfdf3f401399a07da87-1”[/vc_row]
Under General>> “Narrow data source”>> I enter the post category I would like to display but is displaying all the categories.
I tried to exclude the posts that I don’t want by going on Data Settings>>Exclude>>Post title but is not working.
What can I do to create a grid where I can display only one group of post of the same category ?

1. I am not sure about how do you want to include these icons and where, is it possible to provide a screenshot with annotations and I will check if that is possible for you.
2. Actually only “Side Portfolio” supports sticky description and other items due to their layout type, it is not possible, but you may customize the theme and implement it.

This will require theme customization and its out of scope of the support. Actually our theme has everything demonstrated in our demo sites, and if you want to achieve something that is presented there, you can freely ask us and we will do it for you.
If you want to add more portfolio items, the way you did before, you can add them via Portfolio Items element in Visual Composer element, by selecting the products via Taxonomy or one by one.

Hello, In the theme we have an alternative portfolio page (just showing one category) but if we are in a portfolio item, the 4 little squares button, refer to the portfolio page in the settings (/portfolio) while it needs to go to /portfolio-projects any idea how we can get this to go back to the page the portfolio items were? I’ve styled the freelancer valium to have the menu background orange, the nav links white /and grey on hover. The hamburger nav I can get the bottom and top line orange, however the central line remains grey. Is there a way to do this?
When I add:
@media all { .menu-bar.menu-skin-main .ham { background-color: #fe5000!important; } } It makes the line orange, however, when the menu is showing and the hamburger find is the arrow – it shows an extra line.
O notice that on clicking the hamburger font there is an action that ‘hides’ this line i.e. transparent.
Fixed it – ignore this one! I just removed the @media all and !important

I’ve managed to get it… almost. I can get the featured image full-width, however its not sitting behind the logo and hamburger menu. Its sitting about 50pixels below.
done. One thing for other purchasers is that if you have the wordpress top-bar showing and making changes, it adds a gap between the dropdown nav and featured image. Sign-out and view the page and it looks okay.
