that doesn’t solve the problem. consider the plugin “Revolution Slider”. It shows up on the wordpress dashboard, as it should. the problem is, I cannot update revolution slider from the plugins page. To do any of that, I need to update the Tower theme itself. This is a problem, because it’s a bottleneck. I cannot update these required plugins by themselves, unless there’s an updated version of the theme, and there won’t be an updated version of the theme every time each plugin gets updated. see what i mean?

If you want to update them separately fro the theme, you must purchase them. This is the only way to update the plugins, when we include them in the theme updates.

No i didn’t change the code of the theme at all, except adding one line of CSS to the responsive navbar, but that was after i noticed the bug, and completely unrelated to said bug. If I add a new blog entry, this isn’t reflected in the footer. That’s essentially the entire problem.

I really like this theme. It’s very easy to use and very adaptable.
1) On the individual portfolio items, I was wondering if the horizontal menu options could have a background color to show through. With photos at the top and the menu loading over them, without a background, the menu choices don’t really show through. I looked in the Tower Options, but I didn’t see anything there to change except the overall color.

2) The second thing I am wondering about is the load time. You may have noticed from the link above the site loads extremely slow. I even added in WP Super Cache and that did help for a while, until I uploaded the latest version (1.4). Now it is back to being really slow for any page to open on both the individual pages, and anything one wants to do in the backend. The Home, Portfolio and Contact pages are the live ones.
3) Since I have uploaded the new version, almost every time I go to the portfolio page, I have to reload in order to get the individual images to show.
4) Lastly, Visual Baker needs to be updated. Where this came with the theme I was assuming it will update when asked. It sends me to a page where I am supposed to activate it. Any idea on how this will be done when I don’t have the purchase code? Thanks!

One thing I just noticed (from the above discussion of mine) is the only browser that the portfolio needs to be reloaded on is Firefox. Safari, Microsoft Edge and Chrome load the page correctly. I meant to add that, but forgot. Sorry.

You can change the header background color at Header Options.
To improve the site loading time I suggest you to keep only the needed content and plugins, compress the images (don’t use images with size more than 1M). The theme have Visual Composer vs 4.11. The latest version of the plugin is vs. 4.11.1. We will include in on the next theme update.
I tested the portfolio on firefox, the images are loaded. Maybe you have installed any extension that is conflicting.

I’m sorry, I’ll try to explain better: I would like to use white as background color of the horizontal navigation, while at the moment under the headings of horizontal navigation you see the image used as an image in evidence. I’m having some major issues with the Tower theme – the biggest issue being that all of the sudden, the Tower Child style.css stylesheet is no longer being read. One minute, it’s reading the child theme stylesheet; the next minute, it’s as if the child theme stylesheet doesn’t exist. And I cannot figure out for the life of me what’s going on.
Also, I cannot access the Codeless.co support forum. It’s showing that the site is down. This makes it very difficult to do my job – which is redesigning my company’s website.
