Suddenly after I updated some plugins, the theme keep showing the blogs on the front page instead og the page I had before. I have the correct settings in Settings -> reading, so I don’t understand anything?

I should ad that I have installed the newest theme (fairtreesfund.com)

Hello,

I can not get the theme settings to save at all. After hitting the “Save all changes” button the loading wheel next to the button just keeps spinning….

Any ideas?

Hello I’m having problems when trying to insert elements referring to a category . For example: Insert a post slide , with elements of the category “A”. And I do not see them . I made sure to have entries in that category , but still does not work . Some help? Thank you very much!

There are several components missing from the theme and no way for me to get rid of the Avado loge. It also says that the header can be no more than 0 pixels: Customizing Header Image While you can crop images to your liking after clicking Add new image, your theme recommends a header height of 0 pixels.

This is how it looks in my customization mode:

Avada and it will not show my site identity or allow a header. Please help

i updated my site using the church theme… fantastic … only one minor issue, when I add a Pinterest link to the Contact Page Social Links the icon fails to display properly, the circle is there and the link works, but no pinterest icon … you have three icons on your demo .. http://avada.theme-fusion.com/church/contact/ does adding Pinterest work for you?

I have a question about a feature in the demos. In the demos section there is a tab on the right (cog) that reveals a hidden menu. Does the Avada theme have this feature? I want to make a website with that tab/menu. This hidden tab would be an instagram feed.

That element was developed for our live demo only, it’s not part of the Avada theme. If this is a feature you would like to see added to the theme, please submit your suggestion through to support@theme-fusion.com with “Avada Suggestion” in the title so that it can be reviewed by our development team.

To utilize the child theme, I just need to install both the main fiiles and the child theme files and activate the chiild theme, correct? I’m not sure if I’ll need to update code but wanted to use the child theme just in case I do. Thanks

Yes, that is correct. Both need to be uploaded and the child theme needs to be active. Any changes you wish to make to the theme files should be done via the child theme.

Is there going to be an avada catalog mode, seperate from woocommerce? I would like to display products without prices and without all the resource hogging woocommerce checkout etc. Would be awesome if it was built in.

Possibly yes, but we cannot confirm 100% a future feature until our team has fully decided. Most likely we will, but it has not been a major request so far so we have to weigh things like that against other priorities. It will be a nice thing to add, at this time we do recommend using one of the various 3rd party plugins that offer it.

This is a pre-sale question. Does your theme support parallax effect for backgrounds (pictures and videos)? If affirmative, will it work for any touch devices (iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows)? Do you have a demo where we can test it? What about page transitions or transparent headers?

There’s a reason parallax features are disabled on mobile devices. The ‘fixed’ attachment mode for background images and videos is very expensive in terms of browser resources. It works fine for desktop browsers, however mobile devices have far less resources available which can cause the website to lag. To ensure a smooth browsing experience, parallax is disabled on mobile.

Having said that, you can use CSS to enabled parallax on all devices if you wish, it’s simply not recommended.

All right. I’ve got it. thank you for your honest reply. And yes, there are some other themes that work fine for parallax over any touch device, without a considerable lag.

The problem is that my questions was a little while ago, and the questions is not repeated in the emails you send. Hmm our support works through a ticket system. When you submit a ticket here: http://theme-fusion.com/support-ticket/ We receive it and reply back, it is all handled via email. You will receive the email with your original query and our staff reply.

What ticket number are you referring to that you cannot find? I can seeing 4, see this: http://d.pr/i/153ga If you search through your email, you should find them.

When I view my website on a mobile phone, there seems to be a whitespace between my last section on that page and my footer widget. How do I remove that?

Yes, Woocommerce Cataloge mode, i know there are plugins, but it would be easier with a button in theme options. Maybe in future updates? :)

Yes anything is possible for teh future :) We do weigh features like this though against what is currently offered. But we’ll discuss it!

Can i install buddypress after installing avada theme and doing design modifications? Or it is recommended to desactivate the theme and install buddypress then reactivate the theme?

Is there a way to add my own social media icons? I made pixelized social icons (.png files) to fit the style of the site and would very much like to add them.

If not is there any “hack” you could suggest or maybe add it as a feature request?

As of Avada 3.9.3 you can only add one custom social icon to the Theme Options. However the good news is, for Avada 4.0 that we will be releasing real soon, you will hence have the ability to add as many custom social icons as you wish

Hi,

my site loads very slowly (8.5s / page (on shared-hosting)) and when running gtmetrix the recommendation is to “specify image dimensions”. How can I specify image dimensions when using setting on Page -> Fusion page options -> Background Image for Main Content Area and when using Site Origins Editor -> edit row -> Design -> select Background Image.

I have compressed all images with compressor.io but the Total Page size still is 1.1MB. At the moment my site loads far too slow to publish. Thanks!

This would be a 3rd party plugin issue. In most cases, going by what you have described, it may be a simple CSS solution like z-index that can resolve it

In other themes you have a plugin or theme options to change the language, here do you have to change it on the code word per word? This is frustrating… I just want to change the words Leave a message, by, post comment… in my language.
