I would like to know when we can have full import export calendar features ical for google and other calendars, like homeaway, airbnb and others. I asked this few month ago and am awaiting this features so i can finish a website..
Hello! Thanks for getting in touch. The WP Booking System is developed by another team and we bundled it inside our Bellevue product. The plugin author has added the iCal / ICS export features a few version back so you can import your website calendar into airbnb, homeaway and others.
From your WP Dash / click on WP Booking System / Sync / and there you will see a list of ics / ical urls tied in with each calendar you create. That is the url you provide to airbnb / homeaway etc.
I have express interested in adding a features to import airbnb ical / ics and we are still working on details of how this will work. I’ll need to convince the author to add this.

Its certainly going to be a great feature to add. All of the past requests where for export into airbnb / google cal so import was slated for a future release. I’ll follow up with the author today. Thanks.

One thing that is helpful adding your airbnb and homeaway booking into the website is the quick mode. If you create a booking manually on the website, then you get a nice prompt on the backend that allows you to bulk update the statues. This makes it very quick to add your airbnb / homeaway bookings to the WP Booking System.
Just as a note. I’m going to follow up with the plugin author. He hasn’t guaranteed that he will add this feature but hie’s been very open to new feature requests. Thank you for letting us know this will be helpful to you.
Re quick mode, that good, but my client who will administer the website , not sure how savy are they regarding this, plus there will be time between booking being created on airbnb or homeaway and time that this is blocked on the wp website, probably enough for someone to double book! so it really makes sense being implemented asap. Once again thanks for quick support and all information as well as following tis upgrade request.
Can you also check into how AirBnB and homeaway provides their ical / ics export? If it’s a public URL then the WP Booking System might be able to check automatically but if you you need to request the ical / ics export from airbnb / homeaway manually then the double booking will still be possible even if WP Booking System could do this. Do you know what I mean?
The WP Booking System also has double booking feature where someone can request a booking and then it’s confirmed at a later time by the admin. This will help.
iCal import can be a complicated thing. Even Google Calendar does the ical import but it only check once a day automatically. Otherwise it’s a manual process.
I’m also curious how often AirBnB checks for the import.

Hi. I’m considering buying your nice theme but i have a question before that. Is it possible to set the booking system with payment ? I mean just like airbnb: You pick your date, you pay, your room is booked ! If yes, how ?

Do you mean via the dashboard? We are working on something like that but our process can be very simple too. You can also check our change log and see what files we’ve update since that version and just update those. We have a file changelog at the bottom of our item details page.

Hello! I’d like to make a site with your theme but I have an important question:
my customer is a guesthouse with 4 type of rooms, and multiple rooms for every type.
I’ve seen your video tutorials about managing the availability calendars, but I don’t understand if it is possible to manage a calendar for each type of room, or I need to have a calendar for every physical room.
And, in this second case, if I need a calendar for each physical room, but in the site all the rooms of a kind are represented by a single page, how can the booking system check the availability across multiple calendars?
This means, if I have a room type “Suite” and there are 10 of them, 9 full and one empty, how do I manage this case with your plugin?
If there is a demo backend I can test, would be the best.

Hello QantumThemes! Thanks for asking your question. The WPBS that is bundled with the theme requires one calendar per room or per guest house if you are renting the whole house out as one. If you need to have one calendar for multiple rooms then you might use PinPoint (Free for 1 calendar) or paid for mulltiple on CodeCanyon. The areas where we’ve used the booking system allows shortcodes so you should be able to use any booking system in that area. We haven’t tested on a cases but I’ve heard people have success with PinPoint and also WooCommerce booking. Our theme also works with Booked (boxy studio) although that booking system does not span multiple days.

Great theme but i have question. I have multiple properties for vacation rentals and i want to have a page for each of my properties. Can it do that or does the theme only support one property and feature only the rooms?

We are a multi property holiday management company, we offer villa short terms rentals, can it be used for our company? On the demo i’ve seen that it has only rooms, can it be adapted to rent a whole property, not by rooms?
Hit here! Thanks for contacting us. The booking system can either do by room or for an entire home. You can have unlimited calendars so it’s possible to use it for multiple homes. The theme also works well with WordPress multi site so you can use it that way as well. Our demo uses multi site. You can also use other booking systems with the theme. We bundle with WP Booking System Pro, but i”ve heard it works with Pinpoint and also WooCommerce Booking Plugin. The theme fully supports WooCommerce already.

Hello and thanks for getting in touch with us. There might be some confusion at to how the demo import works. We’ve carefully selected photos that are creative comments so they are free to use without costs. There are some that are paid stock so we can’t include them in our theme download but lots are included in the links under the demo content folder that is part of our theme zip download. With regards to the import process, we use placeholders so that the import process does not timeout and cause errors. We’ve also done this so you can choose where to add the photos and you can choose to resize or edit them if you wish before they are added.

Hi! Thanks for letting us know you have an issue. Is your windows 10 computer a touch screen? Parallax and Sticky are disabled for touch because of some issues with touch screens but you can enable and see how it works for you.

Our theme automatically disables sticky for mobile, so if you want to enable it , just make this modification and it should world on both desktop and mobile.
Let us know how that works.
There is a small bug but we can’t remember why we disabled sticky for mobile. If it works well for you then thats great.

There is an minimum booking option (must book for a minimum of 1 week) but nothing that forces visitor to stat on a Saturday. You can arrange the week to display starting on a Saturday and then just leave instructions for them. There is an auto-pending feature so that the booking is not confirmed until you check it.

Thanks Jo! You could sent the calendar to take the from / to dates and then have a dropdown list using the form to show pitches , however the calendar won’t automatically keep inventory of what’s how many are left, you would need to do that manually. If you wanted an automated system, then you would need to organize each pitch with it’s own calendar to have better inventory tracking.
