Layer Slider 5.6.2 is the currently compatible version of LayerSlider that comes with our theme. Once we update LayerSlider to the latest version a theme update will be released with the new version of LayerSlider and then you will be able to update it. For now, please stick with the 5.6.2 version until an update is released.

Important to know: original logo you upload should be twice bigger than you want it to be shown on site. So, if you upload for example 300×200px, it will be shown as 150×100px on site, and max height is restricted by header height you set in Select Options -> Header.

The logo you upload will be shown in half of the original size by default. You have uploaded 250×73px, and it’s shown as 125×36.5 px on site.

You should upload bigger photo for your logo.

And in Select Options -> Header -> Navigation Top Margin, set some smaller value to reduce the space between logo and menu http://screencast.com/t/PY6atqT2D

So I found the reason that the space was there is because I was uploading large logos. The space was the entire height space the logo said it was…but it still stays at that small size even if I upload one that is 800 in width.

The content width is 290px initially, but you need to reduce the padding that you set in Select Options -> Header http://screencast.com/t/kPH894s2x6N

At the moment, you have 68px set on both sides, and that limits the available width for logo/menu.

To display related portfolio items, for each of your portfolio items you can enable Content Bottom widget area http://screencast.com/t/XjX0qp69l and set it to display some custom widget area you previously created in Appearance -> Widgets, in which you can add portfolio list shortcode in a text widget, for some small list of portfolio items you created as related for this one.

It can be set via custom css. For example, adding this in Select Options -> General -> Custom CSS field:

The Scrollbar for that demo is actually on, as you can see on the inner pages. On the front page, where Vertical Split slider is used, you don’t have scrollbar because each slide takes up exactly full screen width, there’s nothing to scroll down.

And the script for this vertical slider has it’s own navigation, you can not turn on default browser’s scroll-bar to scroll through this slider.

Yes, you can either use unique title area background photo for your entire site (that’s what we did on demo site) , or you can set different photos individually for each page/portfolio item you have. There is option for every page/post/portfolio to set title background for it

The right way for doing this would be to install and use poedit software, to translate the default theme labels to your language.
