Hello. How to hide Nectar Slider buttons on a mobile device ??
The code below seems to be not working:
@media only screen and (max-width : 690px) { html body .nectar-slider-wrap.swiper-slide .content { display: none!important; } }
Thanks

Hey,
Are you referring to the pink buttons you have set? If so, try this instead
@media only screen and (max-width: 1000px) {
.swiper-slide .content .buttons {
display: none!important;
}
}
Cheers
YES….It worked…Thanks
You’re welcome
Hello. Not sure why this is but the “Soonr – Coming Soon” plugin on Envato makes the Dashboard’s Salient sidebar options button completely disappear when activated, so I thought I would let you know in case someone else has this issue.

Thanks for reporting, I’ve noted to test for this conflict in the next update

No problem. I really like your theme so far and hope to be able to purchase it for multiple projects if things go well on this first build. I’ll be sure to let you know if I spot anything else. Keep up the good work
Thanks!
Hello. I like the format of the WooCommerce images with “Gallery slider with zoom on Hover” as opposed to the “Default lightbox functionality”, but would like to disable the JS zoom on hover effect. What would be the best way for me to disable that zoom effect?
Thanks in advance.
Hey,
Add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
.easyzoom-flyout {
display: none!important;
}
Cheers
Great, thanks!

Hey, that’s a nectar blog element set to full width masonry. The masonry style “Meta Overlaid” is selected in the options panel > blog tab to give the look.
If i buy your theme, will work on wordpress 4.5?
Hey, yes – the current Salient is compatible with WP 4.5
Hello,
How can I disable the AJAX loading screen? I’m having an issue on Salient, where the site won’t load.
Thank you.
Hey, there’s a tab in the Salient options panel for “page transitions” – this can be configured or disabled from there
Hi Themenectar, i got a little question. Is there a way to remove the author and dates on the blog pages?
Best regards
Hey – yes, could you share a blog post of yours so I can see which settings you’re using?
Cheers
same thing at my homepage, if the author and dates could be removed i would be very happy!
Hey, add this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel:
#post-area.masonry.meta_overlaid article.post .post-meta .date, #page-header-bg.fullscreen-header .author-section .meta-date {
display: none!important;
}
Love love love this theme. I just have one question: how do I remove the white section below my slider? http://wordpress.kineticsupplychain.com/
Hey!
Change your first row with the slider to the “full width background” type

I hate the new “renew for support” model being forced onto users who purchased long before those changes were made. Support would cost me $10 less than re-buying the whole theme (ridiculous); however if I don’t I can’t use your Ticky ticket system.
Unhappy camper.
Hey, unfortunately I don’t have control over this – Envato pushed these changes globally and authors don’t really have a say in the matter – I have been offering grandfathered support for buyers who bought before the changes were announced on here though
Cheers
Hey ThemeNecatar,
Balls. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to stop using your Ticksy system. Thank you for offering grandfathered support; it’s appreciated.
My issue was that I’ve ran into a theme that came bundled with a plugin that uses the Redux Framework (I think this is what powers Salient Options?). When I swap to the Salient theme and leave the plugin activated the Salient admin panel vanishes.
Any suggestions on how to get around that?
Hey,
The next Salient version is going to fix this issue but as of now it would require some custom modding
Cheers
I’m a bit confused. I can view a category named ‘Samples’ by visiting:
/category/samples
It currently displays, “Category – Business” and then the masonry of posts belonging to that category, however I prefer to hide the ’/category/’ in the URL to make a page which would be found by visiting:
/samples
After creating the page for this, I have no idea how to insert the masonry of posts belonging to a specified category. I liked the masonry post layout on the previous example above, so if I can find a way to insert this code into the page itself I’d be happy.
Any help would be appreciated.
p.s. Not using WooCommerce.
Hey,
You could use the blog element inside of visual composer page builder view, once you add the element to your page you can select the desired category or categories from the “Blog Categories” select box

Hey! I’m trying to remove the hover price of the products, because i put some variationes and i have 3 o 4 prices
Cheers!
Hey,
add this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel:
.woocommerce ul.products li.product .price {
display: none!important;
}

Hey guys!
For everyone who hasn’t seen the announcements,
In regards to WordPress 4.5
The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.8, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.
Hi, my customer have buy this theme. In website I have installed only plugin Salient Visual Composer version 4.10 and in my consolle display this error:
TypeError: $template.get is not a function ... = html, $template = html), _.each($template.get(0).attributes, function(attr)
http://www.pasqualericciardi.it/clienti/moltefacce/wp-content/plugins/js_composer_salient/assets/js/dist/backend.min.js?ver=4.10I can’t insert nothing into editor because don’t work, It’s more urgent, can you help me please?

I have installed again WordPress old version and work, because I haven’t version 4.11.2. Thanks!
Hello, ever since updating WP, VC, and Salient to the current versions, the VC buttons have disapeared. Here is an example of what it looks like/ https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6mtnzOBl29gSExNNWQ3bEYwSFk/view?usp=sharing
I have disabled all of the plugins, and still no luck.
Hey,
please open a ticket in regards with your admin credentials so I can take a look themenectar.ticksy.com/

Visual Composer will not update. After updating salient, I went to “Appearance > Install Plugins” and clicked update, and it told me that visual composer needed to be activated – “To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer.” And of course the settings link gives me an access denied page. How do I update.
Hey,
If you’re upgrading from Salient VC 4.9.2, you’ll need to delete the plugin from your plugins section in the WordPress admin panel before installing the current version (4.10) in Appearance > Install Plugins – This is necessary due to a bug in the Salient VC 4.9.2 which prevents regular updating.

hi, i would like to know if its possible to assign multiple attributes to a product; for example, choose the size, color, weight, fabric or whatever. what is the maximum attributes i can assign to a product?

I updated the theme and fixed the issue with the slider not appearing, after seeing your suggestion about the visual composer update above. Everything is back and functional, however, the slider is shifted slightly to the right and there is a white bar going down the left side of just the slider. I checked to make sure it was set to be centered and it is. Any idea what may cause that or what to look for?
encountermc.com is the site.
Hey,
Add this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel:
body .vc_row-fluid .vc_col-xs-offset-1 {
margin-left: 0!important;
}

Hi ThemeNectar! I would like to know if there is a way to make the ‘Touch Enabled & Spaced’ Image Gallery wider on mobile. Ideally I would have it nearly edge-to-edge on the screen. The images look a bit small and have quite a bit of space on mobile devices. Example image: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1daT7tbxk3kSGxEZVBiTFJHd28
Thank you very much for the assistance!
Edit: Im currently using it in a full-width row but its a bit too large in desktop view. I just really want it to be boxed on desktop and full-width on mobile.
Hey – add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
@media only screen and (max-width: 1000px) {
.wpb_gallery {
margin: 0 -100px!important;
}
}
Cheers
Hey, I am having issues with Visual Composer which was a plugin that came with the theme when i purchased it. I know i have to renew my support and I will if I need assistance but I am wondering if I should seek support from you guys or visual composer directly? Thank You www.dasstudio.ca is the website I am talking about.
Hey, it seems you’re not using the current version of the theme

Salient really has come a long way since I purchased it. Nice job. I don’t know if I will get support on this but I would appreciate the help. I assume this is not something easily done, but maybe you can provide me with a suggestion. Is it possible to have a background that is an image, an then once the user hovers over a navigation button or other content the background image changes to a different image? I’m assuming this would involve some serious custom coding?
Hey, i’m glad to hear you’ve been enjoying it
This would indeed require custom development – have you looked into freelance work with Envato studio yet?
Cheers
