Hello, Since I updated the theme I can’t see the thumnails at the portfolio page, or the images in the inside portfolio posts. I have updated, wordpress and plugins also. So it’s all up to date. What can I do? Thanks.

Hi! First time playing with the Kalium themes. Im using the Main (simple menu) installation and I would have a question related to. -I don’t need the slider at all, but would like to setup a full width photo instead, but when I try to upload photos they come out very small and I just can’t find how to adjust the photos… -also I don’t know why my header will move along when I’m scrolling down…its very stupid when the menu follows throughout the whole page:)

If you don’t want to use the slider but only one image then you can do that via Visual Composer and set a background image to a row which will be like a slider.

Regarding the menu that sticks at the top while you scroll down, you need to explore the Laborator > Theme Options a bit and turn the Sticky Menu off so it won’t show.

Hi! Is it possible to add “I like” heart to portfolio images? And for example I have 100 art pictures in my portfolio. Can I make random 30 ones on first page? Or how people will navigate that 100 pictures? Thank you.

You can’t have the like feature for each image separately but you can have them in each portfolio item.

I’ve been daily working with WP templates for more than 2 years, and I definitely can say that Kalium is one of the bests theme ever.

It caught my attention because it’s unquestionably beautiful but, at the same time, it is awesomely coded and designed. It’s also solid but fluid, with a great performance and full of customizable options, but very-very easy to use and a pleasure to work with.

To sum up, not only a very beautiful template, but a great coded theme.

Thanks for your response! It seems that you are using an older version of our theme and the latest version for the moment is (1.8.9), kindly update your theme to the latest version first.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure :)

Important:* Please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking, everything seems to be working fine at our end, as per shown in the follwoing:

Please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support, then if your problem is still active, please reply us again here with a detailed explanation of your problem.

If after updating the premium plugins the problem is still present, then can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

Thanks for writing in! To translate/rename theme strings, you can do this via Loco Translate plugin. If you don’t have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.

1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations

2. Click “New Language” for the current active theme (if you didn’t created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc

3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w

4. Follow these instructions to learn how to translate strings – http://d.pr/i/1jsek

5. The changes will be applied immediately – http://d.pr/i/1ju6w

Note: Translation files will be saved to wp-content/themes/{theme-name}/languages folder. Here you have the explanation – http://d.pr/i/1lBCJ

After you make your changes, always save a backup when there is new theme update. After you update the theme (languages folder will be replaced), just move the backup files you previously saved to the same languages directory and your changes will still be applied.

On my website pictures don’t appear or they don’t appear for so long. I didn’t resize them or I didn’t make any other changes on them, after the last time it worked normally. I just made some updates for some plugins and Wordpress. What might cause this problem and how can I solve it?

Hey.

I just discovered that the images in the portfolio type “Side Portfolio” are not responsive. They are always shown in full size, there is no srcset or similar used. How can I change that so that the full image is not loaded on smaller screens?

This would be the ideal way of displaying the images:

Hey there, I actually just updated the theme and it’s working now. Thank you!

However, a different issue altogether is that sometimes it seems that my theme’s Visual Composer doesn’t load. It just seems to try and load but then stops altogether, leaving any pages that use visual composer un-editable. I don’t know if it was because it wasn’t updated before or something like that, but have you heard of that before, and would you know of a solution to fix that?

That is happening to you because you are using a very old version of Visual Composer specially, and other premium plugins that we offer for free Revolution Slider and Layer Slider.

Hello I bought the license for kalium that is supposed to come with the visual composer license as well, and it is not working. It says I have to buy the license again. Could you please help me with this problem?

Premium plugins don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of that plugin included, and customers don’t need to worry about that.

You never need to buy any premium plugins that comes with our theme.

Like I said, it is the home page. Where the flashing text is.

So on the home page, the text where it is flashing ”_ what we do.”

We want to remove the 1 space after “” so there is a gap between “” and “what we do”.

Hi there, I really need a solution for this issue ASP. I did the upgrade to 1.9 and this all projects images are replaced or fill up with white. Is not happening to the post page, only to the projects.

Hi Imran, I was able to fix the issue by installing a child theme plugin to create my own child theme. The child theme in your download has a bug. I wonder if every time I do an upgrade to the site this will happen? Thank you.

You will never need to update the child theme again, what you need to do is to update the main theme while the child theme remains untouched.
