You need to update the visual composer as well. Please remove the older version and install a new one (can be found in full theme package).
I installed VC with theme, I have version Version 4.11.2.1, also margins/paddings are destroyed becouse of this version.

Current favs are Agency, Product and Coffee. BTW – I agree with the guy in an another post who wants the logo options for mobile menus. I understand the designer doesn’t feel we need it – but that is a very dangerous position. Instead you/they should always try to lean toward what users feel they need, not what you feel users should need.

Regarding logo. Jokes aside, we already had a discussion about it in our team. And decided that we need more feedback. I personally would be glad to see a logo there because that place looks kinda empty.
I found that Masonry & Grid does not seems to work on new version. All other album display option works except Masonry & Grid . Please resolve this issue, as all my images gallery are in this display option only. ate the moment it does not shows the images but some how you can click on the blank space and see the individual images.

After an update to v 3.6.0.1, it has failed to show the album. It shows white space but some how you can click on the blank space and see the images.

I’m wondering, that my version of The7 has actually the number 4.4.4 and now I can’t find the plugin Visual Composer. So the visual composer don’t work anymore. WP uses the automatic theme update functionality. My wordpress version is 4.5. Maybe that’s a common problem, so I hope, that you’ll answer me without a new ticket. Thanks!

I’m afraid news are not good in this case 
v.4.4.4 is a 2 years old The7 of the first generation (v.1).
There’s no direct update to v.3. You will have to update manually update the theme; re-set the theme options (which can be done quite fast thanks to Design Wizard feature); and re-edit most of your content (since older versions of Composer are not Compatible with newer ones).
If you want to save a bit of time, you can guys at our custom shop to assist you with the upgade: http://custom.dream-theme.com . They have tons of experience in upgrading The7 > they will do it fast > this will be quite inexpensive.

You mean can you edit demos that comes with the theme? Yes, absolutely. Moreover you can mix and match different demos on same website!
I have a ticket in on this but have not heard anything for several days so I though I’d try here to see if there’s a simple solution that doesn’t require css. My client wants a single image in the header which I’ve created and to have that image scale (ie, fluid/responsive) to smaller screen sized. I’ve tried under Branding but there’s padding on the left. I’ve tried the header background image approach which fills the header nicely but does not shrink for smaller screen sizes.
Here’s an example (from one of the client’s other sites) of what I want:

When I add a video-post with a YouTube video. It puts a really big player (square instead of more horizontal) with black stripes on top and bottom. I just want the normal size with no added stripes. Its really big on all screens including mobile. How can I change that?

Hi, I made a website 2 years ago with the seven (first version). When the new version came I tried to update, but it gave so many problems to fix that I didn’t, because it would take days. Now if I do the wordpress update the visual composer doesn’t work anymore and I regularly adjust things, so now I have a big problem. I cannot do the upate. If you don’t update this version of the theme, I have to rebuild the whole site and is has alsmost 300 pages (which I have no time for, because I have other sites te build) Could you please please plaese bring out another update of the first version?!

I’m afraid this is technically not possible: to make Visual Composer compatible with new WordPress we will have to update the VC to newest version. Old and new versions of Composer are very different. Therefore you will have to re-do the content any way. In such circumstances we have to recommend people to upgrade to The7 v.3, because content have to be re-done anyway (and this is the most time-consuming part of the process).
