Default setting of blog is standard display with sidebar which you can make grid display from
admin > customizer > blog options > blog
First option > “blog page layout” – select “Full Width”
Second option > “blog post style” – select “Grid”

I´ve a small problem with a plugin for using images with lightbox. I will explain. I use the plugin jQuery Pin It Button and when images have lightbox, the plugin fails.
When I try to add an image to a post , through shortcode … I select the feature “Disable Lightbox an Go to link page” but I do not get it off really lightbox. How could I get to use this plugin with shortcodes ?

Hello Marina,
You can remove link text ( [ swmsc_image ... link"http://www.abclink.com" ..... ] ) from image shortcode so it will not add anchor (link) code or you can use simple image code and add class “image_right” or “image_left” for align image.

Image details are coming from default wordpress image title and caption text so you can add it from media gallery or from admin > media > library > click on image and add image title and captions
Image media gallery shortcode has border radius feature and you can add it from page editor > visual composer > gallery ( from list of all visual composer elemtents ) > gallery settings popup > image border radius
If you want to add single image then you can do same thing like above example, except gallery, open “Single Image” popup and in bottom “Image border radius” field add border radius. ( You can add image details when you select image to insert )

but as I commented to you, if I do that … I´ve the problem with lightbox and the plugin does not work
I ‘m solved by putting it directly from the multimedia gallery, and then adding the edge radius in the html . Because as I indicated in the screenshot where I put the link ( i64.tinypic.com/2llevmh.jpg) ... does not work if I include that css

We got your point. CSS is only for adding css class instead of css style like ( border-radius:10px; ). In this situation you have to edit from HTML code in image tag

“No slides found, Please add some slides” << This message is showing present slider doesn’t has any slides which you can add it from admin > revolution slider ( at bottom left side ) > click on slider thumbnail > click on slide 1 / or create new slide.
Please view video tutorials for basic theme setup with sample demo content ( one click demo ) so you can get all required pages with home page slider.

I have purchased kids World theme. I have installed it properly. The problem is that I want to “add email link” to one of the post. But it doesn’t work. For example, abc@txyz.co.uk result as … 0000 abc@txyz.co.uk. As you can see it has 4 zero at the start and there is no link.

I’m confused guys, you say this website theme is easy to setup and use even for those who do not understand code and you use visual composer. I see from visual composer you have used only your own pre designed elements which can only use shortcodes which is a type of code. Above code is added in text block to add content which you can easily do with visual shortcode generator in visual composer text block.
Click on blue color shortcode generator button, find image shortcode link, click on this link, it will open visual shortcode popup and you can upload / insert image and fill all step without writing any above code and insert in to content.
Similar format you can do with drag and drop without knowing any code from visual composer. Add new row with two column, add left column image and right column text block content (drag n drop), next box add button. ( Now you can get how it is easy to add content without knowing any code, our per-defined code is just for sample to know how it can be use with multiple use of same text block – otherwise people will use only simple text in text block and did not take advantage of multiple use ).

Please read help-documentation or view video tutorial step to setup initial step of theme installation.
You have to first install parent theme and then install all plugins and after both steps you can start theme customization with child theme.
If you try to install plugins with child theme activation then it will show invalid path error because child theme doesn’t has any plugin.

Your site main menu has more links which you can fix by 2 ways.
1. You can set mobile menu start resolution size from admin > customizer > top navigation > Responsive/Mobile Menu
2. You can reduct default minimun width for all links from admin > customizer > top navigation > disable “Main Links with Minimum Width” and then add custom css ( Here is an example video with child theme : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7D9Pk9EVlBs )
Please update current theme with latest version 2.11 to fix javascript error of WordPress 4.5 jQuery.

All custom shortcodes, widgets are coming from school shortcodes plugin so you have to translate plugin language file and save it .mo file like you did for theme’s language translation.

Im – I’m sorry – I perhaps wasn’t clear. I would like to use the functionality of the portfolio image creation on the page, but rather than have content in the text area on the portfolio page – when you click either the image or the text it goes to a wordpress page, rather than display the contents of the portfolio page. So, on the home page here: http://interwebstaging.co.uk/boweshutchinsons when you scroll down after the welcome section, you reach the portfolios. Go to Our School & click. This goes to http://interwebstaging.co.uk/boweshutchinsons/portfolios/school_life/ but I want it to go here: http://interwebstaging.co.uk/boweshutchinsons/school-life/ – ie don’t do anything with the portfolio.

You can use filters to change slug name like “portfolios”
Below is an example code where “whatwedo” is new slug in place of “portfolios”

You can add this code in theme’s function.php file or child theme’s function.php file.
After adding this code in child theme or parent theme function file, flush permalinks to add new slug URLs in database otherwise it will show “404 Page”. ( You can refer youtube video for “flush permalinks” steps )
Tips: You can add more padding to make inner pages header title middle align from admin > customizer > sub header > sub header top padding

Hi – I’m sorry – I still think you are missing what my requirements are. I don’t need to change the slug of the portfolio – I would like the functionality to be when you click on a portfolio image / text link like on the homepage I used in the example above, it could go to either a completely different URL / page or website or a different page on this website ie. I need to be able to add a link in which will over-ride the current default behaviour. Similar to when you create a post – and you can specify a Link in here on the Add New Post page.
Link URL ( e.g. http://www.domain.com ) http://www.domain.com
So for example – I might want the portfolio button to go to www.bbc.co.uk, therefore changing the slug name wouldn’t help.
Is that a better explanation?

You can set single page sidebar from admin > posts > edit post > go to “page options” metabox ( below main Editor box ) > select “sidebar right” or “sidebar left” from “content layout” field in page content section of metabox.
Now after setting sidebar go to bottom of the page to find “sidebar” metabox. In this metabox select sidebar name from dropdown menu.
Save changes and refresh single page from front side.

Thank you for your response. I found the individual posts settings (thank you), but i have 3000 posts, i can’t do that manually foreach post, this setting should be also general and available from the Customize section.
I also have problems with diacritics on mobile version. “?” diacritic is seen correctly on the web version, on mobile version i have squares in all posts where i have this diacritic.
I need 2 solutions: one for general sidebar in single post page and one to fix the broken diacritics on mobile version.

1. Images in demo site are only for demo purpose so it is not included with the theme purchase. You can import all images for theme setup and then replace with your images or purchase from shutterstock.com
2. Polylang plugin support is not included with the theme and requires custom coding like setting top menu translation link etc.
3. Yes, all home pages content are coming from custom shortcodes. You can hide hover date, class time, price etc. fields. (It is 100% flexible with each post – e.g. you can display post time/price/date in one post and hide in another post.)

I am looking at purchasing your kidsworld wordpress theme, but I just have a question about the backgrounds. When you first open this theme, behind the photos of the kids there is a background that changes from purple to pink and has images of books and pens. Is this specific background interchangeable?
