The Select and Upload button is not working in Albums and Gallery. I’ve tried your yoast solutions, and disabling that plugin. Screen options and collapsing the the7 fields also does nothing. Any ideas?
Narrowed it down further. If I disable BOTH Akismet and Yoast (eep!), then the photo albums pages are functional again.
I’m hoping there’s a better solution than disabling these every time I need to edit.

I installed optima express that generates property listings automatically, the problem is when viewing single property in generated it removes all the widgets, no sidebar and no footer, there is an option to choose a page template in optima but still problem exist, all widgetized areas are disabled

Hello – I have this theme, and I have 4 x my clients have bought this theme, and it appears there is no menu on Tablets? Is there a way to fix this, as obviously tablet traffic is gaining ground, and without a menu, people can’t navigate properly.
Also – in mobile view, is there a way to make two columns appear side by side, rather than under each other?

By default The7 will collapse the menu to a hamburger icon on smaller screens. You can set up switching point in Theme Options > Top Bar & Header > Mobile Navigation.
And what about the columns? I have two boxes – one links to my shop the other to my directory listing. At the moment in Mobile view one appears beneath the other … I am hoping to set it up so they are side by side?
And also the neither the logo or the menu is displaying in tablet mode. Not on any of the 4 sites that I use your theme. What’s happening there?

There’s no universal setting: displays are quite different; browser windows are different. However it is possible to get a full-screen image effect (note that image will be automatically cropped). Thanks for one of 36 thousand buyers who gave the resolution in comment area: to downgrade Wordpress to the version before V4.5. Now the VisualComposer comes functional again. Unfortunately all the solutions you provided before does not work: “You need to update to newest version of theme via Theme Options > Update Theme and then update plugins via Plugins > The7 plugins.”
When I click Theme Update and it always tells me “You have the most recent version of the theme.” Even I can see my current version is The7.2 ver. 2.3.2 but the changelog tells the newest version of The7.2 is ver. 2.3.13. And another unfortunate thing is, there is no “The7 plugins” option under Plugins.
I’ve bought half-year support and now it’s expired. I have no idea if you will redirect me to “Open a support ticket” but still, it’s very disappointing that I encounter this problem once my support expires…

Reply its user “what the hell” when a two star rate was given, because Visual Composer is not functional after upgrading to WP4.5.
The worse thing is, sooo many users come to you because of this problem and you either direct them to “open a ticket” support or just gave some useless solutions.
Well, if you are stressful and angry, I will not withdraw this rate and feel sorry for you. If you are a programmer or team who can not accept any negative feedback, you are done. I will not hesitate to tell every colleague, every website designer or potential user that you are such a team (or person), let people know how arrogant you are and how you treat with your customer who PURCHASED this theme already!
Theme have over 36 000 + active buyers and consistent 5-star rating. If things were as you describe them, The7 would already have solid shining 1-star.
Again, you are the only person of 36 thousands that was not able to update and instead of asking for help in normal way decided to give 1-2 stars and post inadequate comments. The result: since your support period expired, we are free of any obligations before you. And will not help.

PreSale Question: How difficult would it be to “Clone” the Portfolio CPT and ReName it to something else; and retain the Metabox options?
...example: Someone else mentioned creating a “Listings” CPT. I would like to use it for a Product Line.
I have no trouble coding php, just looking to clarify if this is possible and if I could work with support to create a “Walk-through” on how to do this. If this is not achievable, then I’ll fall back to creating a CPT template instead.

I have updated to The7 3.6.1, but I can not update Visual Composer (without buying a separate licence). When are we going to be able to update the plugin?

Plugins > The7 plugins. Hover over the Visual Composer and click the update link 
The above solution did not work. The plugin said I have to purchase a licence to upgrade. I had to manually download the most recent version of The7 and extract the most current version of the Visual Composer plugin. I then overwrote the current version via ftp.

I have also installed v2.3.13 and updated all plugins before pushing to our live site. All of our columns throughout the entire site now have a 0 margin and are butting up against each other.

No, you are wrong. The update needs the user to go into Theme Options / Settings and save again and then columns are all set back to correct settings.

I am helping manage a site that I did not originally build. After updating to Wordpress 4.5 visual composer stopped working and the only way I have been able to fix it is to downgrade to Wordpress 4.4.2.
I checked the “theme update” section which has the account information stored from the original web developer – this shows “You have the most recent version of the theme!” Here is the version I see under appearance – > themes “The7Version: 4.4.6”
I have read some of the other comments for troubleshooting this issue, but I am not able to access the theme plugins from the plugins area. It appears that this may be a really old version of the theme since it is now up to The7.3. Is this correct? If so, why does it say this is the most current version of the theme?
What is the best approach to fixing this issue? I am wondering if I will need to pay for another license of the theme to get it all up to date.

Again, sorry for posting pre-made reply above.
Thing is upgrade from v.1 to v.3 is quite time consuming. If site in question is not frequently updated, IMO the best solution would be to downgrade to older WordPress.
Theoretically you can stay on v.1 and ask our support guys to disable the old built-in Visual Composer (if you have a theme purchase code) and install a most recent version.. But even in this case there’s still lot of work with the content to be done. Therefore, if you are ready to embrace this amount of work, it would be wiser to upgrade directly to v.3.

Is version v.3 a different theme than the original v.1 it appears is loaded on the site? I am just wondering why it had not been getting updated (previous developer credentials are added in Envato WP Toolkit plugin) and it shows the theme is up to date in that section. Is it an error in the envato plugin? I want to verify if I do purchase the new v.3, and go through the effort of converting all the pages with the new theme and visual composer, that this will not happen again in the future. Will I be able to update the theme to keep it current and not get behind again?

Technically v.1 and v.3 are very different themes indeed.
The7 v.3 modular architecture allows us to make major theme updates fully compatible. Therefore I’d recommend to spend some time and upgrade.
