Hey, please verify that you have a retina logo set in the header navigation tab and in the header navigation > trnasparency tab

I’m seeing your css apply – such as the rule

the color of your categories is now displaying in white, the margin rules don’t do anything because there’s already rules for 20px margin top/left.

You have the ability to make full width content with the visual composer full width background and full width content row types – there’s no present page template with no container though, this would require css

Hey – it’s been available since wpbakery released it. In order to get it you must be on Salient v7.0.8. Then you’ll be able to update to it from the plugins section of your admin panel 
I have created my own form – I need this to carry out some php code. The form displays correctly. When I click submit it works fine on Chrome. But when I submit the form on Firefox the characters in the top menu (down arrow to show a submenu is present) are not recognised and it shows an odd image instead of the arrow. I think this is something to do with UTF-8 on Firefox but I cannot figure out how to get it to work. Any suggestions? Are you using the current version of the theme (7.0.8) and VC (4.11.2) and have verified that no third party plugins are causing the issue?
I am getting a strange issue on iOS (mainly iphone)... the Salient icon being used for the shopping cart within the mobile header is displaying as an Emoji. It doesn’t show up within testing emulators… only on the devices themselves. Any idea on how to fix this? Site link: laterranaturaloils.com

First of all kudos on this theme, really impressed with it so far!
I’ve encountered an issue however that I’m really struggling to rectify. For some reason there is a huge gaping gap on either the left or right hand side of my website when I load it on desktops – looks like it could be an issue with the ajax-content-wrap? That said, the nectar slider is full width and there are no gaps – it just seems to be the main body. Is there a way I can rectify this?

It doesn’t seem to be an issue with any of the plugins, I’ve tried activating/deactivating them all and only when I deactivate the Salient Composer plugin does it seem to go full width.
Do you have any custom css added on that page through the composer?
Where can I find the Salient 7.0.8 update? The only version of Salient which is in my download section is 4363266. Is this version the 7.0.8 version?

Hey – you can see the version of the theme you’re using in the Salient options panel at the top. For everyone who hasn’t seen the announcements,
In regards to WordPress 4.5
The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.8, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.
I have not found the dummy data.xml files (one page demo) in the folder salient. Does where can I find them? Thanks !
Hey – All demos can be imported from the Salient options panel > demo importer tab in V 7.0+ are you using an earlier version?

The H4 typography setting in the Salient options panel > typography tab will set the size. If you’re trying to change the text color that would need css as for that style you can only change the border color

My menu has 3 levels like such:
Menu 1 = Menu 1.1 == Menu 1.1.1
And my colour definitions is as follow:
Header Background = #fff Header Font = #888 Header Font Hover = #002759 Dropdown Background = #fff Dropdown Background Hover #002759 Dropdown Font = #888 Dropdown Font Hover = #fff
When I activate Menu 1.1.1, link colour of Menu 1.1 has become the same as my dropdown background.
How can I get the link colour of Menu 1.1 to be white (#fff) when it’s active ?

Use the megamenu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZPPUTbvTKQ – you’ll have to create a class for 2 columns though. Once you’ve added the mega menu class to the nav item here’s the css you’ll have to add to the custom css box in the Salient options panel
header#top nav > ul > li.megamenu.columns-2 > ul > li { width: 50%; }

Megamenu appears but makes a column for each submenu item, instead of a two column submenu…some more advices? the video is not so clear (neither hd)

Updated to WP 4.5, and now nothing is working anymore. No updates for salient vc. No 4.11.2 salient vc. Ultimate salient version downloaded is themeforest-4363266-salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme. This is the 7.0.8 salient version? This version have the 4.11.2 salient vc? I dont think so, im feeling like speended money and now my site is dead. Where is the solution??
