the version of Revolution Slider 5.2.5 bundled with the last theme update, breaks the “Respect Aspect Ratio” and Min Height of the homepage slider. I had to downgrade the RevSlider back to 5.2.1 and Aspect Ratio worked. May be something to look into. Thanks!

Hello. I know my support has expired, but I wanted to let you know of a potential issue. When you create a “GO” Button and set style to “Custom” (single color right?). The buttons on the front side hava a gradient. Which is odd because there is also a GO button style option for “Gradient”. In >> Theme Options >> Buttons >> Buttons style; it is set to “flat”. This is where I found the gradient, .vc_btn3.vc_btn3-style-custom {

Hi to anyone that ‘did not continue to update the 7 theme after 4.4.6’ and is stuck on the problem with wordpress 4.5 not displaying the VC backend editor. Here is the fix to help it display again.. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/36605420/plugin-throwing-typeerror-after-wordpress-4-5-update. I can explain it more but the page pretty much tells you what bit of code you need to adjust in the ‘composer-view.js’ file. Hope this helps you

I’d like to put in two feature requests. I would love a setting to be able to change the size of the social icons in your theme, they are a bit small for me (they are svg, so it shouldn’t be too hard). I would also like to change the success message when somebody sends feedback through a form. I was recommended by support. to use the locotranslate plugin, and that didn’t work for me.

We have this in the pipeline. Meanwhile you can change them with CSS. It’s couple of lines of code, really.

I bought this theme and updated it a few times now. When I login to my site and go and edit a page the content is not showing up. This is also happening with another theme that has visual composer. What is this? I feel like i have to pay to renew my support in order for the plugin to work right and getting ripped off.
Why would this plugin stop working all of a sudden like this on two different themes and both so happen that the support just expired requiring me to pay to renew them?
Do you know any solutions to fix an issue like this? I cant even edit content on my sites because the content is not showing. This is happening on two of my sites both with visual composer. Any help is appreciated.

Feature Request: Hi Dream-Theme, Would you possibly look at the feature of backing up saved theme settings. So if someone messes it up, can easily restored from saved back up. A few of my other themes have this and its very hard for clients who love to fiddle. Thanks.

I am having problems with the current_page_item highlight in the menus. If you check http://mi.webparapyme.cl/khp/ and click on each page, the underline gets stuck.
What could be causing this? The page loads fine, but the menu gets the current page item stuck on random.

Hello, can you check on your end if (with all the latest plugins, latest theme version and latest version of WP) that your top menu still appears on chrome and firefox if you shrink your (desktop) browser window down in size. It works fine on Safari. Trying to trouble shoot this issue on a testing server. Seems to be an issue with the latest version of The7. Thanks.

Hi, one pre-purchase question: I read about problems with Visual Composer: can you explain well the relationship between your theme and VC? I’ll have to buy an extended VC license in the future or VC will be automatically updated to last version when you release your theme update? What happens with major WP upgrade?

Hi,
As you know, Visual Composer is a plugin that enables “easy drag and drop” page building. It comes in theme package but is NOT its integral part. This means that The7 can be used with VC disabled.
As for VC updates. We’ve been updating it constantly for 3 years. At this moment lot of people are experiencing issues with VC automatic update via Plugins > The7 Plugins interface. There is a “bug” in older versions of Composer that prevents these automatic updates. I’m not a big fan of conspiracy theories, but suspect that this bug may be designed to boost VC sales (I’m just speculating and do not know if this is true).
Our support usually solves this by simply uninstalling old and installing new versions of plugin. This can be easily performed by buyers themselves, however they are used to automatic updates and feel uncomfortable uprating things manually. That’s basically is the “issue” in a nutshell.

Ok, first of all thanks for answer, but this means that, if I can easily performe manual uprating by myself, I’ll need to buy the extend licence of VC, right?
This is exactly what happens me with other themes!
If I want to update the plugin I have to buy a new license because “Bakery” (VC author) tells me that I don’t own the license of the plugin but only the licence of the theme, so he tells me to ask the theme’s author…
So I ask you, in a nutshell:
1) With a simple upgrade of your theme, in future, I’ll keep the “old” VC version obtained when I bought the theme or by upgrading The7-theme I’ll receive also the updating VC version? Sorry but for me it’s not so clear
2) If not, to update VC version I’ll need to entirely replace your “old” theme with your new release?
3) Finally: now I have installed the last WP version (4.5.1) on a clean space. If I buy your “The7-theme” will I have functioning problems with VC? I read a lot of issue about VC and new WP 4.5.1 version…
Sorry for a lot of questions but I need some answer before buying for clients… Thanks for help
0) You can use all plugins that comes bundled with The7 theme without entering purchase codes or activating them.
However if you want a bit faster plugins updates, some locked features, dedicated support or just want to support their authors – you are more then welcome to purchase dedicated licenses. But even in this case you will need a regular license – not an extended one.
1 and 2) With each The7 update you are getting newest version of plugins (including Composer) free of charge.
3) All will work just fine. All the complains you see in The7/Composer/other theme comments are coming from people who were not able to update Composer.

But – I usually setup the site as a full admin role user – I usualyl then setup my client as an editor. However testing with your theme – I see that Editor roles also have full access to the theme options (which I’d prefer them not to have – only content changes)
Is there a way to restrict Editors from having access to the Theme options?

Also, the Layer Slider shows an update available even after it says it has been updated when i follow the steps given by you.
Same goes for the Ultimate Addons for VC

“wp-content/uploads/wp-less/dt-the7/” is a folder where .CSS files are stored. Site cannot be hacked by CSS Most probably file with the malicious code was uploaded to that folder.

Hi i have a problem in http://www.house-coffee.es/ when i click in “De 20 a 60 tazas al día” inside of “Nuestras máquinas > máquinas de café” links correctly to the anchor id.
But if later i click in “Más de 60 tazas al día” the links dont works.
I tried to set this page to microsite and use a diferent menu with not absolute urls and only the anchors links but need other for “Unete” and can set to work both.
Please can help me how to set the menu to works the anchor links in all browsers and the two sections with submenus?

Believe it or not, this option was quite resource consuming (since it was JavaScript-powered). It caused serious slow downs of page rendering on mobile devices. Therefore we decided to remove it since v.2 of theme.
lol, well then i’d rather have no dividers indeed…
Could the use of any other dividers also cause pages to slow down…? (for example when using dividers in list: [dt_list style=”1” bullet_position=”middle” dividers=”true”] )
No The were only issues with vertical dividers in benefits.
