By default, single product pages inherit the page title from main shop page, like you can see on our demo
So, you need to go to Pages -> main Shop page, and enable title area for it, and that same one will be used for single product pages.

We’re not sure we understand what you’re asking?
In Select Options -> Blog, you choose the template for Blog archive pages (category archives for example…)
For your main Blog page, you can use one of the available Page templates. So you can choose Chequered Blog template for your main Blog page , just by creating the page with that template, no content needed http://screencast.com/t/NRTNwsQmgAyf
