For whatever reason, all of a sudden, I see that my social media share counts are not visible. I checked out some of the previous tickets regarding the same issue, and I tried the following:
1. Turn Off ‘Social Media’ in Settings and Turn On again. —Didn’t Work
2. Include the below CSS—Didn’t Work
.nectar-social.hide-share-count span.count,
.nectar-social.hide-share-count .nectar-love-count {
width: auto !important;
visibility: visible !important;
}

Hey, this is a new known issue that occurred due to a change in the api of linkedin in the last couple days – if you disable that service out of your sharing icons for the blog it should work until the update is available for Salient tomorrow
When I open my portfolio is IE or Safari, I get these random white boves when I hover… like it’s trying to populate something but doesn’t

Hi, I bought your theme as i really liked the design. However i am having trouble importing the dummy data. I use tools->Import->wordpress to import dummy data salient/nectar/redux-framework/extensions/wbc_importer/single/content.xml but get error. Can you please help?

Hey, for now you could copy the index.php contents into an archive.php file in order to mod it differently if desired

Hey, the Nectar Shortcode generator contains all the shortcodes/params for them. Most shortcodes are also available in the Salient Visual Composer page builder as well

Hi, We’re using Salient for this site http://skyspa2015.wpengine.com/ and it worked well while we were using the theme version 6.1.5 However, we updated the theme to it’s latest version 7.0.8 and visual composer to 4.11.2 as instructed by removing the old one. Now the website does not load and we’re seeing an infinite loader. It load on backend just fine though. Can you please check what’s the issue ? We’re using wordpress 4.5.2

Hey, you need to install & activate the Salient Visual Composer plugin. This can be done from the appearance > install plugins section in your admin panel

Just recently updated a site and there is a conflict between Salient and the Master Slider Pro plugin, which is causing it to not load, but to show the loading animation. Any known fix?

Hi. Currently the caption and button on the Nectar Slider are centered and blocking an important part of my background image. How do I move the caption and button downwards so that they sit just above the 3 little dots?
Also, if I am adding a video to the background like how the stars move on yours, what size and format should I make the video?

I didn’t realised there was the vertical alignment option, but I’ve just tried it and bottom alignment isn’t low enough, how do I make it lower?

I have managed to lower them by adding a few
lines to the caption field, but now on mobile the caption and button are outside of the Nectar area and only partially visible

Hi there, is it possible to use Adobe Typekit fonts in Salient? If yes, can you tell me how? Tried a lot of things, but nothing works on me.
Hey, as of now there’s no integration in the theme options panel so it would need to be done manually or through a plugin. Which method have you gone about so far?
By custom CSS / Javascript. But if i paste the code in to the plugin of CSS file from Salient, nothing happens. Maybe you can tell me why the script won’t accept custom Adobe Fonts? Are you working on a integration with Adobe Typekit? Really think a lot of people would love this. Hope to here from you soon.

Hey guys, I have simple problem but can resolve it myself. I start building this website :
http://test1.gnl-media.com/and as you can see on the home page there is a sortable portfolio ( still with black placeholders ). The problem is that the filters do not work fo some reason. When I click on any of them the site puts me on the top of the home page and I got a # symbol after the url.
I try to reinstal the theme but nothing happen. There are no other plugins expect the VC, CF7 and Woocommerce.
Any idea?

Try making sure the slug of your project categories don’t contain any ext latin characters – the actual name can so it’ll all still appear the same to the user

Hey I am looking at a theme such as this one for my portfolio, and was wondering what portfolio plugin are you using for this page:

Hey, the portfolio functionality is built into the theme so there’s no plugin that’s creating that. Even if you don’t use the Salient Visual Composer you’ll have access to the portfolio element via the nectar shortcodes
Hello, I have purchased two copies of this theme for myself and two others for friends. One of these sites seems to have gotten very broken by the recent WP upgrade. I have now updated both Salient and Visual Composer but the site is still a mess, it really looks nothing like it did before. Can you take a look at it and give me some idea what sort of bomb has dropped? My header icon is gone, all formatting is gone, the top slider is gone. It’s at meddyer.com Thank you!
Just to follow up, most of my formatting is back now. All but the logo in the header look correct. I did not realize that updates have a propagation time after an install—is that right? I did delete the cache, log out etc to try and flush through any changes yesterday. In any case I am OK now. Thank you.

I solved the logo issue but I’m not sure why it was a problem. The theme did not show that I had a logo uploaded and selected. I had that in place though for more than a year, so it seems like either the theme update or the WP update may have reset that setting. I set “use icon” and then selected the same icon I had used before and now it is back to the way it was. The URL is in my first post, it’s meddyer.com

Hey – Salient got a new options framework in 7.0 and some legacy users have reported having to reupload the logo after updating though I haven’t narrowed it down to a specific group of settings that causes that to be needed
Hi is it possible to hide the page header without touching the css? I didn’t upload any image and would like to have a page without any header space. Leaving the Page Header Height to nothing (or 0) doesn’t do the trick.

where is page php file? make page html correction. i want insert class and id name. i use not visual composer row class. i want potfolio element make clss and id

The page.php file is located in the root of the theme, however if you’re trying to edit the id of the portfolio element specifically, you’d need to edit the portfolio function in nectar/tinymce/shortcode-processing.php
