Recently my Visual Composer editor hasn’t been working. I can’t edit pages I’ve already customized in either the Backend or Frontend Editor. This is making it impossible to edit existing pages and create new ones.

Its because wordpress make latest Critical update and visual composer needs to be updated.
You need to update theme and Visual composer and ultimate addons plugin
1. Deactivate and Delete both plugins.
2. Then download Theme from therefore and extract it somewhere on your desktop.
3. Then open Theme Folder > Plugins folder > and you will find > js_composer.zip (this is visual composer) and Ultimate_VC_Addons.zip plugins.
4. Install this plugins and all be good
You will not loose anything.

1. Please disable all plugins except royal core and try again. It looks like you hosting has low php memory limit and thats why you are unable to import Demo.

Love the Theme and adding the woocommerce support made me buy it. The only problem I’m having is when adding a shortcode “product category” to a page it creates a 1 column unordered list of the products. Anyway to get it where it has more than 1 item per column?

Hello. This theme is beautiful but I am wondering how it appears on mobile devices? Some of the other themes have mobile screenshots, or say “mobile friendly.” I don’t see that here. ... Is this theme considered mobile friendly? I am looking at the Iris design specifically. I currently have a website I love and a theme I’ve been using for years. However, it is not mobile friendly, so that is the sole reason I am switching themes—need to make sure this theme is seamless on mobile before I buy. Thanks!

Great theme, and I this is definitely not a complaint about the theme, for anyone in doubt, you will be pleasantly surprised!
I am having a problem with visual composer, It just doesn’t work anymore and I can’t figure out why, I tried all the FAQ’s etc but I just do not get it to function.
It gives me all the options to choose from, but then it doesn’t allow me to select any of them.

I’m a freelance videographer and want to showcase my videos on the theme “Riven”.
My problem: After you click a video from the grid on the startpage, I want the videos to be able to be shown in fullscreen from example youtube. The embed code from youtube have the “allowfullscreen” attribute but it doesn’t work until I click the button “Show me more” on the enlarged video from the grid. How do I solve this? The fullscreen button on the embeded video is grayed out and says it can’t be fullscreen from the grid.

I’ve managed to enable that feature for PrettyPhotto popup. You need to upload this file: http://wp-royal.com/royal-plugins.min.js to hyperx root/js/ royal-plugins.min.js
After that clear browser cache and then you will be able to fullscreen youtube videos in popup.

i have paid for a license and installed it but had to delete the site and start again because when i tried to change theme choices i ended up with duplicate pages etc and i thought would be best to start from fresh.
however now when i try to install the theme via upload i keep getting an error via wordpress – saying that its not a valid format. I am thinking thats because it thinks i have already used my one license?
can you let me know how to sort?

First of all sorry for later reply.
1. If you mean you want to display photos and videos on the place of featured image in the portfolio gird then the answer is NO. Portfolio Girds can only display images as featured media but when you open the post it will show an Image, Video, Gallery, Audio and so on.. You can also display videos in the lightbox popup.
2. If you want to change the text like “Skills” “Client” and so on.. you need to use POEDIT to translate those strings and rename as you wish.
That’s all I can tell you so far. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Concering 1. I am fine with pictures in the portfolio grid. Thats perfect. It’s more about the portfolio items. You know the portfolio project page which opens when you click on one picture in the grid. Is it possible to create an layout with embedded pictures and also embedded videos on the same portfolio project page? Because I have some projects they need pictures and videos in the same time. Right now I just now how to choose between Video, Gallery, Audio…

You don’t need to activate it. It’s bundled with Hyper-X theme and is totally free. You don’t need to update it as well, before we provide a new version of compatible plugins which will be included in the next theme update.

Ah, I just got the idea what you wanted.
Go to Theme Customzier > Menu & Filters (section) > Filter Items (tab) > Font Options (window) > Line Through – disable it.

Hi there,
I just bought your theme which looks cool by the way, but it wont upload onto my wordpress site for some reason. It takes a while and gets to 100% before saying: “Are you sure you want to do this?” and then just having the option of going back. It’s not a wordpress problem as I just tried to upload a theme I had purchased previously and it uploaded fine. Am I doing something wrong?
