hey Team, we implemented the Corporate Demo and loved that. And we wanted a bit of Ascend in there as well. But when we installed the ascend theme, it took over a lot of the corporate demo. Hey, when you import the theme demo it overrides the current options panel settings so the style will always be the las demo imported – you’ll still have the pages from the other demos in there though

Hey, for your row that has the text “Welcome, brothers and sisters…” Change that to be a full width background row instead of full width content and get rid of the extra empty columns. If you’re trying to make the width smaller of content inside – this would be better suited for css. This will get rid of all the empty space and wrong padding on mobile

For everyone who hasn’t seen the announcements,
In regards to WordPress 4.5
The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.8, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.
Hello. How can I shrink or parallax the header more than the check box I activated allows. I am using a full width content nectar slider for a portfolio with 4% column padding. I also checked the box to scale the slider to the screen size, but when viewed on a laptop the nectar slider images are only ~60% visible. You need to scroll up/down to view the entire image. If I could parallax or shrink the header I think it would solve my problem.

I haven’t published the portfolio example I’m talking about yet. However, the Nectar slider on my homepage appears to have the same problem when displayed as full width content at the top of my page: http://hashtagsebrell.com/ I re-sized the display parameters but it didn’t change.

Hey, on the URL you’ve shared I’m seeing the slide hold the same aspect ratio upon resizing the screen – if you’re just trying to resize the project title to allow more of the slider to show without scrolling down, have you tried to put a smaller value in the “Page Header Height” field in the page header meta box when editing the project e.g. “150”
Thanks, I tried a few values but it didn’t change the page view. I also went into the Salient options panel and changed the Header Navigation Layout between: Default/Center/Center Alt but the header still cuts off the image. The only fix I can come up with is to change it to an Image Grid instead of a Nectar slider, but then it isn’t full width… and not as pretty.

?i am having a lot of issues with this theme, its my first time installing it after many years of purchase, i cannot use the visual composer part of this theme, i re-installed he team but i still have the same problem. when i click on an element to add it doesn’t do anything.
on evanto it says this product is still supported but your ticket system says its not.

All the icons font-awesome icons across my site have disappeared. What is the issue? (This includes social media icons in the footer, back-to-top icon, and the left-right navigation icons in my nectar slider)
Turns out it was an incompatibility with the “Toolset Types” plugin I installed to add custom fields. There isn’t really any working solution I could find atm to this issue.

Hi, this bug has been requested before but no solution to date as fas I can see. With an infinite scroll blog the ajax loading icon and final message ‘all items loaded’ block appears at the bottom of the page rather than under the blog segment itself. Which means you can’t have any content under the blog apart from the footer. Could you help me with a fix? I don’t mind editing a .js files to patch issue for now. Cheers.
