Where can I change the color of the links? When I have a link in the text it’s black like the text so it’s hard to see the link unless you put your mouse over it. Then it turns another color. Where can I change the color of the links?
And also, can I remove the titles from blog posts? Because I have it in the text also with a h1 tag so it’s double hehe

To change the links that are present in paragraphs please try to add this code into Tower > General > Custom Css Box :

Hi, I am new to wordpress and so I have some questions about how this theme works. First, I would like to include a “news” section on my site. Presumably, I would use the blog feature and just call it “news” instead. But I want to know:
(1) Once I have more than, say, 5 or 10 news items, will the “News” page automatically become two pages (i.e. the most recent 5 posts on one page, then a link to page 2 at the bottom with the 5 before that)? Or will all of the blog/news posts continue to accrue to one page unless I manually split them off?
(2) There doesn’t seem to be a built in “events” section on any of the pre-existing demos. Any ideas how I could do a separate “Events” section? For example, could I also use the blog feature for this, but keep it separate from the “News”?
(3) In either of the above, would there be a way to back-date blog/news/events posts? I.e. if I want to bring over past events, in an event “archive”, is there a natural way to do that?

1. You can use blog page which displays all posts with pagination or not. Here are the blog elements:
http://codeless.co/tower/default/1509-2/Latest from blog -> choose number of posts to show, number of posts per page, choose if you want to chow them in a carousel. Recent News -> choose number of posts, categories and the style.
Full Blog -> choose number of posts, categories and the style.
2. You can use any of blog elements and separate from the blog from the categories you choose to show.
3. Blog elements show the posts from the category you choose in order the newer first. You can assign another category for past events.

Hi Code-less, i have been working on your theme now and one thing doesn’t seem right. If i scale my browser tot phone size some of the menu items wont show any longer, they are there but they are in white i guess. What is going wrong? You can check it here: http://www.bureau-backpackerz.nl/

You can change it in Tower -> Header Options -> Dropdown Options
and change the : Megamenu title font color from #ffff to #888888.
Click on Save.
Another way is to do it manually, add this line into Tower->General -> Custom Css Style this line:
.menu-small ul.menu > li > a{color:#888888 !important}

Maybe you don’t have enough memory allocated. Try a clean theme install, do not click Import multiple times.

I had to add an !important declaration as it was set to display: none; BUT the search icon sits up the top of left menu/header to the right of the logo – not ideal. I have customised the header template to move the header_tools under the menu and added float: left; padding-left: 0; to the above style and it looks great. I tried using the child theme (so I don’t overwrite header.php in future releases), but the child theme doesn’t work. Very frustrating.

I will lodge a ticket re: the child theme in the forum, but FYI – the Custom CSS inserted under General Options outputs AFTER theme css in the head so it gets overridden – hence needing to put !important on custom styles.
Yes, some css styles are generated dynamically after the theme’s css. In this cases is needed to add !important to the styles added at custom css box.

Team, need some help configuring the portfolio option. Currently, all new products created as a portfolio is viewed by an ascending option. I need a solution to be able to organizer and show case which product displays as first to mid to last when creating a portfolio product.
For example, Im using the portfolio feature to show case tangible products, therefore some products may be available today and not tomorrow, but than added back on at a later time. So I hate to see the product fall into a further slot when essentially the client would like to place the products in its own specific order for displaying purposes.
I’ve searched other plug-ins for a portfolio feature that may offer this specification, but there is nothing I see in the market. So perhaps, you can help to modify your own feature or suggest something to accomplish this goal.

By default our theme dont offer this feature. But you can achieve this in two ways:
1. You can change the portfolio post order by changing the date of posting in the wordpress post editor. So in this way you can change item order by modify post pulish date.
2. The simplest an and more practical way is to use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-post-order/. You can change the order of the post by drag and drop their position.

Yes its possible and this don’t create any problem to use for a simple blog.
You can install default demo for example and delete other pages except blog : http://codeless.co/tower/default/blog/. In theme option set as homepage the the blog page and its done. Every features is needed in a blog can be found in this theme.

Have you updated the theme to the latest version ? If you have the latest version try to install visual composer again check this tutorial if you want further information how to update included plugins.

Visual Composer has stopped working. I have downloaded and activated the latest theme but the plugin still returns an error when I try to update… I am not able to edit pages on the site without Visual Composer.

Please make sure you have the latest theme version and install visual composer 4.11.2.1. If you can’t update it from WP dashboard, delete the folder ‘wp-content/plugins/js_composer’ at your FTP and install the new version at WP dashboard -> Install the requested plugins.

The theme folder should be ‘tower’, not ‘tower-miltipurpose’. You are having trouble installing the plugins because you are using a child theme. Activate tower when installing plugins, Then activate again the child theme. The child theme folder name should be ‘tower-child’ at ‘wp-content/themes’ folder.

Normally to change the header color of the header on mobile device you have to change it from the General Options so you page with have another color to pc too, except mobile device.
The only way to make its possible its through customization:
@media (max-width: 480px){
header#header{background:red}
}
You can add this line into Theme Option > Custom Css code or directly add it in /css/bootstrap-responsive.css
