I believe the Disable Transparency From Navigation feature is broken when using a video overlay. I can not seem to get the transparency to go away when I have a video background set in the page header settings (I also have Fullscreen Height checked)

Is it possible to set a row to be full page (browser) height?

when i hit the back button my site while navigating the pages, it just goes to a gray page. Then i have to refresh the page to see it. Is this a know problem?
Hey, this is a known issue with the latest Firefox only – the fix for it will be out in 7.0.9 which will be released soon.

Those were made by me in Photoshop so unfortunately I don’t have a stock place to provide where you can purchase them at – however if you want to use those and add your own photos in via your favorite image editing program you have my permission

Hi, Thank you so much for this super awesome theme. I have a nectar slider on the home page and I want to be able to embed a YouTube video in one of the slides (just like what the home slider provides) I entered the embed code in the area where we can enter the title but it makes it really small. IS there any work around this? I don’t want to host the video on the site as it is really large and there is an upload limit. Please help.

hey, awesome template, I am trying to link to a specific tab, and I try the ?tab=tab-name, but i dont understand exactly how it works….. ive tried it multiple ways…. if i hover over the tab on the main site and it says www.website.com/#tab-booking, do i make the link www.website.com/#tab-booking/?tab=tab-booking ?

Your theme has a bug when using the lightbox, check out the video https://gyazo.com/731795f7cdba1265abb2e558b5a04c4e when scrolling the lightbox image doesn’t move but the “pp_arrows” are moving which doesn’t look nice please fix it in the next update.

The position is set to absolute on the image on purpose rather than fixed to allow images in the lightbox that are taller than the window viewport and give the user the option to scroll. If you’d like to set the images to also be fixed it would require some css

Hi! I am trying to vertically alling two columns in a full width background row but can’t do. Bothg columns have Centered Content Alignment checked and the row is set to equal columns height. One column has two text blocks and the other a single image which by the way gets cropped and I don’t want to. Any suggestions on how to fix these issues? Thank you!

For everyone who hasn’t seen the announcements,
In regards to WordPress 4.5
The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.8, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.
Buggy. Throws wordpress errors on adding new pages, gets stuck on Updating for hours so can’t edit pages.

Hi There, I’m trying to use revolution slider. It works fine on the desktop, but creates a huge gap between the header and slider on MOBILE. It goes away if I switch off the header resize on scroll option, however I need the header resize option. Is there a way to fix this please?

1. You’d need to use a plugin in regards or mode it manually as there’s no option for that in the theme
2. Yes that’s an optional effect
3. It’s been a static icon for a while on mobile but the next major feature based release is going to change that

You’d be able to add a contact form on any location of any page so that wouldn’t be hard – the update doesn’t have an exact ETA but it most likely will be around a month

Hey, it would require custom css – if you can provide the URL I can give you example css to target that specific button so it’s not a global change

Hi there, I just installed Salient and I noticed that if I use the back button in Firefox, the previous page comes up blank, I have to refresh to reload it. I haven’t done any modifications yet, just imported the sample data for “Ascend”. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi, was there an update yet? I can’t tell, and I haven’t seen any notifications. Also, is there a way to integrate portfolio with Woocommerce? Ideally, I’d like to have the add to cart button right on the single portfolio item page. or alternatively, have the ability to display products in the form of portfolio (just images without the price until they get to the item page). Thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, the visual composer is not available in the area that goes to the right of the portfolio item, only shortcodes, of which there isn’t a woocommerce-related one. Ideally, I’d like to replicate the exact look of a product – with a field to change quantity, add to cart button, which would disappear if the item is out of stock. That would really make this a perfect theme for commercial photographers.
Also – is there a way to add lightbox to the portfolio item image? Some of our images are pretty large and could benefit from that. I noticed that is also available for products, but not for portfolio items. Thanks!

1.You could simulate the sidebar layout by changing the item to full width in the project settings and then using VC to create the main content are + sidebar column
2. If you’re referring to the single project page featured image – this could again be achieved using visual composer (image gallery element with one image) Just use the option to “Hide Featured Image/Video on Single Project Page?”
