Hi. Is it possible to show a different logo on scroll? My logo doesn’t look great when it resizes but I want to keep the header shrinking on scroll as that looks great. I would like to use the text based version of our logo when the user scrolls rather than the icon. Is it possible to do that?
Also, I want my header to start transparent but when the user scrolls to shrink and remain fixed with a solid black colour. Can this be done?

1. As of now changing the logo on scroll would only be possible when using the transparent option as you can select a certain logo for the starting logo (used when transparent) and the default logo will be used after scrolling.
2. This would be possible by using the transparent header option in the Salient options panel and setting your regular nav header bg color to something dark. You can select these colors in your header navigation tab at the header color scheme option (select “custom” for it)

Many thanks for this. Works perfectly. The only problem is that now the mobile menu, which obviously uses the default logo, now shows up as the text logo. I don’t want to use this for the mobile menu, particularly as seems to blow it up and pixelate it. How can I display the same icon logo we use in the transparent header? Thanks for your help with this!

Yes you are right. Just deactivated Jetpack mobile plugin and the problem was solved. It made conflict. Thank you.

Hey Team, just another question, is it possible to style the Off Canvas Menu Item so that some of the menu items are more prominent than others in size and also sectioned off? I wanted something like this site http://www.marieforleo.com/ where on the off canvas section there was 6 main items, then a section break, then a few more items, and then another section break, and then a few more lessor important items. You can use the off canvas menu navigation menu location to populate the main menu items which will be most prominent and then add a text widget to the off canvas widget area in appearance > widgets for the secondary stuff

Hi there! And thanks for this great theme I bought few days ago. As other people, I have a problem with Justified Image Grid and the PrettyPhoto of your theme.. I would like to turn off Salient Pretty photo in order to use JiGrid. The answer I have read in this support timeline are old, and after searching a long time in the style.css file, I don’t find any PrettyPhoto area… I tried to delete the prettyphoto.css file in the CSS folder, without success..
I don’t know how to resolve this issue, so I hope you ca help me!

Hey! Could you kindly share your URL so I could take a further look at the issue? The prettyphoto styles have indeed been moved to the prettyPhoto.css stylesheet located in the css folder of Salient so if deleting that didn’t help something else must be stopping it from functioning

As you can see when you click on a picture, there is basic reaction (prettyphoto doesn’t work)... Thanks for helping!

So.. after lots of test: only the Colorbox lightbox works like I want. There is always a conflict with the Prettyphoto lightbox css.
Theme Lightbox is always unselected, and the Auto Lightbox Image Links is check.

For everyone who hasn’t seen the announcements,
In regards to WordPress 4.5
The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.8, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.
Hi, I have a call to action “Book Appointment” as a menu button and also as a nectar slider CTA. I was hoping to be able to have both those buttons link to a popup contact form or modal with the contact form. Is there anyway to do that? I have Contact Form 7 installed and also have a dev license for Gravity Forms if that helps. I just don’t know where I would link them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
