Hello, does this theme require Premium Plugins that need to be bought separately for it to be complete in functionality?

Avada comes with two premium plugins in Revolution Slider and Layer Slider. Both of these plugins are included as part of the Avada package and you can use them without purchasing a personal license.
However, these are standalone plugins and they may have some features that required a personal license to access. For example, I believe Revolution Slider has a ‘chalkboard’ feature that requires a personal license.
Having said that, the core functionality and most of the plugin features are accessible via your purchase of Avada without the need for a personal license. You can read more about these premium plugins and how they’re packaged with Avada here:

Yes, Avada comes with a ‘Blog’ shortcode that can be inserted on any page to display a list/archive of your posts. You can find some examples of the different blog layouts on our live demo:

Hi, I would like to position breadcrumbs below the block that contains the title. I know that there is not a theme option to do that, but which file I have to customize for this breadcrumbs position?

The breadcrumbs are inserted via the /Avada/includes/custom_functions.php file around line 484. You would need to customize this function to change the position of the breadcrumbs or the page title. It’s not recommended that you make changes to the core theme files, so I would suggest creating a child theme and using the functions.php file to override the default function with your own. You can do this by creating a function with the same name, in this case “avada_get_page_title_bar_contents”.

I have set background image on footer area and it works fine except when opened on mobile that a blank space underneath is appeared. So I hided footer area and inserted within body contents area but still the same problem. Would you please advise? Thank you. Please regard main page only.

I have another question, I have the latest version of avada, everything runs perfect, great job! but checking on mobile devices, to scroll through the menu navigation the effect drop down only activated when clicking the arrow but not on the menu item, I think as usability is an important error that could be corrected, users will always do click the text and not necessarily the arrow of each item. I appreciate your comments and a possible solution. Thank you!

To change the footer background color on a specific page only, you will need to use custom CSS to achieve that. Here is an example of the CSS (The page ID will need to be changed to whatever the ID is of the page on your site):
body.page-id-5 .fusion-footer-widget-area, body.page-id-5 .fusion-footer-copyright-area { background-color: #f1f1f1 !important; }
Or yes, you can disable the footer widget and copyright area on a page by page basis using the in-page Fusion Options -> http://d.pr/i/156El

Theme auto-update does not work..it says inconsistent file permission…however it update from wordpress.org pretty well, for wp itself and plugins…any thought, thanks?

Hello, thanks for that theme , I see it and it is very good, but I have a question, I see that the theme give me specific website for example shop site and so on , when I buy the theme I took the theme with it’s pictures and section , which mean if I bough the theme and apply shop theme so I will have the same theme as I see here in the preview or just the layout and I need to edit the images and so on , or both I can use it as it or I can edit on the theme

Installing a demo is as straight forward as clicking a button as explained in this help file -> http://bit.ly/1qXnE1J – what will be installed will be as you see it in our demos.

https site gives error for logo images Hello, we’re using this theme on a site with SSL / https and we can’t get a full lock because the links to the logo images are just https. I don’t see a way to over ride this in the theme settings. How can we make the links to the 2 size header logo images htpps instead of just http. Thanks.

Yes we agree with you However, the question you have is not a quick one to answer or we would. Our support team would need more info and be able to check it out first hand. That is why we have a ticket system and support center.
Also, the new support policy was not put in place by us, the author. It was put in place by Envato.
When did you buy Avada?
If it was before September 1st 2015, then you still get support because we (ThemeFusion) decided to offer grandfathered support to all of our previous customers before Envato made the change.

Surely other folks using this theme have SSL on their site. If you have been successful in getting the site logo files (standard and retina) to link via https, can you please let us know. Thanks.

There are plenty of Avada customers using an SSL certificate on their site. Avada is protocol agnostic and the logo URL will adjust automatically if you correctly configure your site to use HTTPS.
I would recommend using a plugin to manage this configuration for you, such as:

I also forgot to mention that you should also ensure that you’re using the latest version of Avada (4.0.2) and Fusion Core (2.0.2).
If you are using the latest version and have correctly installed the plugin above and still have issues with the logo URL, I would suggest removing the logo and uploading it again.

We have a client leaving and we would like to remove the Product Registration info before backing the site up. However it won’t let us clear the info in the fields. Can you help?

Because the product registration information is stored the only real way to decouple the registration info would be to decommission the site. For example, when a site is moved from one domain to a different domain, the installation on the old domain would be deleted outright and then the info, with a newly generated API key, is re-registered in the installation on the new domain.
With your client leaving, does that mean that the client no longer will be served by yourselves however will continue to run the site that uses Avada? If yes, they would need to retain the license even if they are not on your books anymore

I updated my site to Avada 4.02 and is hosed it up. It says that Fusion Core needs to update, but the process never finishes and gives a 500 Internal Server error. I can no longer access the backend of my site either. The front end is completely messed up. The link is http://inseasonflorals.com. I put in a trouble ticket. Please help!!!
I found out that this is occurring when I log into the backend of the site. The update instantly kicks in and has 13 steps. It ALWAYS gets stuck at #7 – HEX Colors. It spins for about 20 seconds and then goes into a 500 Internal Server Error. I called my hosting provider and my memory limits are really high so that shouldn’t be the issue. They said they was nothing really they could do on their end.

Hmm you should not be getting the white screen. First make sure you are on WP 4.5.2 and updating to Avada 4.0.2 and Fusion Core 2.0.2
Avada v4 was a major update with an entirely new theme options panel so conversion does happen when you update, but it goes through steps and shows you. See this important update info: http://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/install-update/important-update-information/
Maybe your PHP configs are low and it is not allowing the conversion to happen. Check the system status tab to see if any are red: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/special-features/system-status-limits/
Also try to disable any other 3rd party plugins you have on, maybe one of them is not compatible.

Hmm sounds like you should try to redownload the file again, maybe it just did not fully download.
Go to downloads tab and download “WP Theme only” to get Avada.zip. You can also download the “full main files” which has Avada.zip plus PSDs and other stuff. But unzipping should work fine.

That page is password protected but most likely you do not have the 100% width page set. Look in page attributes box for page template, set it to 100%
