Hi, Just wanted to find out will there be an update soon for this?
would the maximum upload size be 64Mb for media library on the theme? I would like to include a larger video on the nectar slider on home page. So just wondering if this update will be available.

1. There’s no maximum limit defined in the theme itself, your hosting setup is what determines the max upload size (it’s set in php). You can either contact your host to get this changed to a higher limit or upload the video to the uploads folder via FTP which will bypass it
2. As of now video backgrounds must autoplay as there’s no other options for them

How do I get the contact form to look like the demo (corporate)? Mine just comes up as a normal form like how it looked when the theme first came out years ago. I tried importing the corp demo on a fresh install, and it’s set to Ascend too.

1. Before buying the theme, do I need to buy a Premium plan in order to get my own domain on Wordpress platform or that is not necessary? 2. I read that I own upload the theme to my own hosting. If that is the case, where do I go and customize my theme?

You should take a look at this article explaining the differences with wordpress.org (self hosted) and wordpress.com http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/self-hosted-wordpress-org-vs-free-wordpress-com-infograph/ – all the themes for sale on themeforest are for the self hosted version of WordPress. There is still an admin panel for you to manage your content from.

Hey as of now there’s the ability to have icons shaped like that but there’s no timeline style that has lines connecting them unfortunately

Hey, you’d need to go to the pages which you’d like the elements from and create a VC template from them or simply copy and paste the contents into your other page.

Log showing on checkhout page when using WooCommerce Intuit QBMS Gateway (but not all the time) is there a chance that the salient override of the woocommerce defaults is causing this? If so how can I turn off the salient override on the checkout page?

The template file Salient uses for the checkbox page can be found in the theme directory > woocommerce > checkbox > form-checkout.php – however it shouldn’t cause any issue like you’re describing. Could you share your URL in regards?

Hey, I have an issue with the automatic padding / margins:

Below header images and nectar slider an automatic space is created of something like 20px and I don’t know why. Its not there if i move the slider to the bottom above the footer, but its there in front of every other element for some reason.

Hey, i’m not seeing any space below the Nectar Slider before the next full width row which holds the page submenu – have you changed things since posting?
Sorry, yes we have changed it as we had to discuss some things with the client. I have reverted it now. The Nectar slider now works when put into a full width content row.
There is however still a space If I use the header image element instead of the sliders (purple). (http://picavi-wp.aix-cloud.de/referenzen/) Could you please have a look into that?

What version of Salient VC are you using? The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.8, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work

Hey, have you tried to use an text block in visual composer and use nectar icon shortcodes for the icons? The “tiny” size offered in that sounds similar to what you’re looking for

When you’re editing a text block there’s a blue button above the editor called “nectar shortcodes” – all of the shortcodes exist in there

Are you trying to change the transparent menu text to dark only on that one page only or globally?
I was thinking that one page….really I wanted to try a lighter option for the page (ie light page with a dark menu), but found I couldn’t because the menu is set to dark for the whole site (ie dark pages with a light menu). Is there a way I can change this so at least I can decide which menu applies here? Or is that too difficult? Many thanks, Sharnee

As of now you’d need to use a nectar slider with the text color set to dark in order to trigger the dark transparent nav on that one page – other than that you’d need to commit to a dark scheme globally from the options panel

Essentially, I have a text block with the text colored white… Instead I’d like to use a separator with text in place of the text block… I want to know if I can change the size and color of the text, and not just the separator line color.

It seems Im caught in a strange loop. I jut updated to the lastest version but it wont let me update the visual composer. It says I can update in the insall required plug ins, I press update, then just takes me to a page about automatic updates and settings. When I press settings it says I don thave suffiecint permissions.

If you’re upgrading from Salient VC 4.9.2, you’ll need to delete the plugin from your plugins section in the WordPress admin panel before installing the current version (4.11.2) in Appearance > Install Plugins – This is necessary due to a bug in the Salient VC 4.9.2 which prevents regular updating.

Many themes that use Visual Composer allow an element to be added called “Fancy Title” – this allows a person to set the font they want to use and allows Google Fonts. I am not seeing this offered in your version of VC – and I really need it for the site I am working on.
