The Visual Composer is not working. I’ve tried everything from making sure the auto updater for The7 is working (theme is up to date). I’ve updated all the plugins. I’ve tried disabling all the plugins and changing the theme to 2010; still doesn’t work. I’ve cleared the cache.

Is your theme pagespeed optimized? Pagespeed insights results arent reflecting the same. Please confirm.

Pagespeed scores depends on many factors: page content, caching setup, site code quality, etc. When done right, The7 will have scores on par or better then other multipurpose themes.
For example we tested The7 in blog mode against standard WordPress themes with caching enabled. The7 constantly scores noticabely better in Google Page Speed, pingdom and gtmetrix tests.

Hi, I was interested in purchasing your theme but I have noted an issue with the demos in IE. If you load the page in FireFox for example the header has a set height (confirmed from page inspection), however, if you load the same page in IE the header is only as high as the logo, almost like it ignores the header height set.
This is apparent on all of the demos. I was wondering if there was an intended fix for this before purchasing.

If we look at the source on FireFox for example it shows as:
.masthead:not(.side-header):not(.mixed-header) .header-bar, .header-space { min-height: 155px; }
If we look at it on IE then it is:
/@media all and (-ms-high-contrast:none)/ :not(.side-header):not(.mixed-header).masthead .header-bar, .header-space, .sticky-on :not(.side-header):not(.mixed-header).masthead .header-bar { min-height: auto; }
If I then adjust the ‘min-height: auto’ to a fixed size (for example 155px) the header corrects to the desired height but all the branding and menu sticks to the top of the header rather than being in the vertical middle.

Hi, it’s possible to add css customization in child theme style.css or it’s necessary to use the tab Custom CSS in Theme Options. In fact i want to use customization in style.css but their works only in the Custom CSS theme options… Regards.

You can change the number of columns and font size. You cannot influence the column width. (This can be done by writing custom CSS. You can contact our custom shop for that: custom.dream-theme.com)

There is a known bug with it (fb changed its share buttons quite a bit). Update is coming within 48 hours.

It contains custom post types like portfolio, galleries, etc. If you have a site that does not utilise these post types – you do not need to install it (without this plugin theme naturally works faster).
I have the dance demo installed on my wordpress.
I would like to know how to change the video Revolution Slider. Which corresponds to the slider “the7-dance-video”
I would also know how to embed images in the gallery section not understand how to make the images look there.

Ah, the checkbox wasnt ticked on the screen options.
Edit: none of the options I select under Fancy Title Options work. When I save, the options are selected, but on the page there are no changes.

If I understood the question correctly – no.
Well it depends on if you understood the question correctly, I found you can do it by changing the code. I edited archive.php and you can change the pre selected template to blog-list-post for instance. With a little help from custom css I am able to show the featured blog image in a decent way. So in this case, yes, you can but not through a simple “change layout archive page” option. Too bad, because the standard page layout looks aweful in my opinion.
Is it possible to invert custom css on a category through the the7 theme options?

This is customization. It is beyond the scope of theme capabilities and support.
I understand this is customization, because you don’t have it implemented in the theme setting. But that’s why I posted my question: Is it possible in the (near) future to change the layout of category pages and to use custom css option on category pages as well?

I am customizing my category pages which already have included the category description and removed the “Category Archives” label from the tittle.
I am stuck with the header area which I would like to customize like the other pages of the site. Can you help me with this issue? either by the admin interface or by code. What I want to do is make it as “fancy title” like the other pages.

I am using your theme in a One Page format. I added a page: www.mywebsite.com/mypage
The problem is that when I am on this page, the menu does not work anymore :
When I go on this other page and I click on a link (which is an anchor) on my main menu, I got the href : www.mywebsite.com/mypage/#home instead of www.mywebsite.com/#home.
I wrote my anchors like this : #!/home
