Had issues with the autoupdater but after searching the comments I put a couple pieces together. Here is the combined things that fixed my issue:
1) Make sure the API code and Purchase Key are in there (They were for me) 2) If they’re in there correctly (which they were) create a new API and paste in the purchase code again and save. 3) Go to Wordpress Dashboard > Updates and force a check again for updates. 4) Update for Avada should come up and then you can update.

Thank you for the feedback! From what we’ve seen the API key is the main part, sometime it fails because of the changes going on with the API itself controlled by Envato.

While we don’t provide integrated support for VC, it is compatible with Avada. You will need to disable the Fusion Page Builder to ensure there are no conflicts, we provide an option to make this change.
There are quite a few Avada customer’s who choose to use the VC plugin and we don’t have any reports for outstanding issues.

Google Maps doesn’t work on 4.0.2 version.
Just receive a warning: Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys
And a JavaScript error: ReferenceError: InfoBox is not defined on /wp-content/themes/Avada/assets/js/main.min.js (...s.infobox_text_color+”;”,e.innerHTML=a,d=new InfoBox(f),d.open(this.map,b),this….) (line 10, col 2472)

This was a change made by Google maps but our team has issued a fix for it. First make sure you are using Avada 4.0.2 and Fusion Core 2.0.2. Update to those versions if needed.
Then in your WP admin area, go to Avada > Support tab and look at the bottom for the Avada Patcher tool box. You will see patches (fixes) that can be applied with a single button. You will notice that some patches have to be applied in order so make sure to apply them as they show from top to bottom.

Can the theme be used on multiple sites? Or is a single site license?

One license of Avada can only be used on a single site, for a separate domain or a sub-domain you have to purchase a separate license of theme.

Guys, my support is expired but I will renew it if you can help me with this. I have problem with woocommerce layered nav widget. For example if I choose Brand= Converse, in Season box there is no more Spring 2016 option but if I first choose Spring 2016 in season box I can choose in Brand box Converse but there is no other all other brands like Reebok. (Products exist on site just customers can not find it using filters). If you cant helo I really dont now who to ask about this. Thank you

Great Theme can i center the logo using the Header Layout #6 ? THX GIO

We are glad that you like our theme, right now the center logo option is only available for header-v5 and side headers. However you can try and use this custom CSS code inside theme Options > Custom CSS Tab to center the logo on header-v6 as well.

Need to know some plugin or widget that provides avada and is compatible with this theme for registration of users. While also you need to establish some function user subscription to the blog comments. Preferably preferred a plugin that integrates these two functions into one.

Hi, I don’t really understand how your support system works. Any time I submit questions, I don’t get any emails about it. Either I at some point log onto the site and the issue is fixed, or it just doesn’t get fixed and I get no response. We have paid for support. I have access to both the envato email address and the email address of the support system. I just submitted a new request last week and again, I have no idea what is going on with it.

You should always get an automated email as soon as you submit a ticket with your ticket # in it and after that one of our support rep should get back to you on the issue, our response time is maximum 24hrs and never above that unless its a weekend.
You should never wait for a week to get our response at all, right now the oldest ticket in our system is 15hrs older and no more.
Did you get our automated email? if yes can you please provide the ticket # that was assigned to you?
If not then please go ahead and create a new ticket and let me know the ticket # you receive and i will get on it as soon as possible myself.

Hi, So about my original question, it is actually due to a plugin issue. But in any case I submitted a support request just to see if you get it and if I get a response.
After I submitted it I get the text:

However, the email account does not get any notifications about the ticket being created, so I have no way of knowing if you got it or what the ticket number is.
I have never gotten an automated email even though I have submitted multiple tickets over the last year.
And sometimes I do see that someone went in and fixed something.

Purchase question: Do you use child themes when setting up for the first time so any modifications are saved when upgrading to new versions. On my current theme it wasn’t installed with a child theme, so every time I update to a newer version I lose all customization.

Yes, we include a basic child theme in the ‘Full Package’ of Avada to get you started. You can use this as a starting point for making modifications to the CSS and template files without having to edit the parent theme files. The changes made in your child theme will not be lost after each update. You can read more about setting up your child theme here:

This is happening because that item has mega menu enabled. You can disable this via your Appearance -> Menu, then selecting the affected item and unchecking this option:

Hi again boss, one more question… I was just about to do a customization and figured it would be relevant to consider if this has been done before. I searched the forum but didn’t find anything as well as in the comments so I want to confirm in case I missed it.
I have a list of locations in plain text on one column and a google map with markers on the right column. I want to highlight a given marker when its corresponding location on the text area is hovered.
I know this is doable with custom code and I am happy to explore that, I just figured I would ask to confirm that this is not already documented specifically for your theme somewhere before I start coding it on a template.
Like I said, I did search forums and comments here but came up blank, so I am just looking for validation that this hasn’t been done before in avada before I invest myself further.

Hey boss, could we get an updated font file that includes the new instagram icon? I am talking about the fusion-icons that are used for the social icons at the top and bottom of the website. I am sure almost everyone will want to start using the new instagram icon soon so having the option to chose there would be nice .

Hi There! Pre-purchase question. My customer wants to have a Last Works grid containing filtered items. No prob on here
But he wants to see on the rollover of each item an specific link to facebook, another one to twitter and a third one to instagram, identified by each Social Media Icon. So if he has 300 items on the Last Works grid, each item must have on its rollover its own FB link, Twitter link and IG link identifies by those social icons. Is this possible?
On the other hand, he wants to be able to create individual pages containing a grid with specific works: this means pages right like the Last Works page I’ve mentiones you, but containing just 4 or 5 specific works. This must be done without setting an specific Category for this 4 or 5 works, in deed, he must be able to select which works to show on this separate pages trought a easy way. Is like an estimating system, where he sets the Works he wants to see on the individual page to be sent it’s link by mail to theirs customers.

we have an option for custom rollover link where you can set a particular URL to be triggered if your customer clicks on it, however adding 3 separate social icons on rollover is not an option right now, you will have to go for a customization in this case.
We have a category filter option for recent works shortcode where the posts will appear depending on which category you choose, however individual post picking without assigning a category is not supported since the post will require a taxonomy base to be filtered on.
However we will very much appreciate if you can please send both of these ideas to our feature request email at support@theme-fusion.com so our developers can look into this and see if this can be added to our future versions.
