Hi, i´d like your theme and i´m interested in buy it but i see something that i think wrong and I would like to know if is possible to solve it before to buy the theme.
When i see your demo site in a big screen the background images are not in the full screen, there is a white space in both sides of them. I have tried to explain in this small video

On our demo site, we have added a fullscreen row at the top, with this search feature. And you can set a background image for it, like we did. There’s no option to set slider for row background.
But You don’t need to use this search feature at the top of your homepage of course. You can put some slider instead,it’s up to you.

The site admin can enable/disable or add new fields to listing items. Note that you can’t change the fields listing submitters have when they submit their listings initially, only the site admin can add those.

Note that generally – anyone can register and login as a basic user like you mentioned. And be able to view listings and manage their profile.
Everyone will be able to try to submit listing from their profile, but the difference is that they need to buy some of the packages you define, to be able to submit their listing, and you need to approve each one before it appears on site.
When it comes to admin area access, unfortunately we do not currently have a test server to which we could give you access, but we can provide some screenshots of the backend for you to take a look, if you’d like that, send us an email to support@elated-themes.com

Thanks, glad you like it. Unfortunately, you can’t just upload it that way, since listing items are custom post type we registered, with our unique meta fields, slug…nothing is the same, so it’s impossible to just upload your existing items.

Thanks for your message. As a “directory” , i believe there should be a means where the “directory owner” can upload his lists of listings he has which can then be claimed by the rightful list owner later. It would be very stressful to input each list you have one after the other. Dont you think thats a feature you should have? It makes sense.

1) If a user selects a location (city) in the search options, will the theme pull search return results from a certain radius/multiple locations? Or will the user see search return results only located in their exact selected city/location?
2) Can I set the directory to pull search return results from the selected city/location and surrounding areas/cities/locations, or within a certain radius? Because I want to use this as a national directory, so I want the user to see options in multiple cities nearby their selected location.

1. Once you choose some location in Search fields, the results will display only the items tagged into that specific location.
2. That would require some additional customization of our search function, that you would need to do on your own, there’s no such an option by default.

Is there a way to add a National Listing, so that the business is not location-specific, and so that the listing shows up in all cities/locations—even when a user selects a certain location? - You can check an item to belong to multiple locations (all if you want), so that one will appear in all listing results, regardless the chosen location.
1. Only site admin defines Listing Locations. Users can of course contact the admin to request adding of some specific location
2. Yes, site admin can additionally create listing items from WP admin – or even modify some submitted by users.

Thank you. To make sure I’m clear—1) if a user submits a listing, admin has to approve the listing and add it to specific locations before it will publish on the site?
2) Is there any way to allow the user to select their locations (multiple) as part of the listing process to automate the listing? Or does an admin always have to approve it and place the listing in certain locations before the listing is visible on the site?

2. Unfortunately, there’s no such possibility for the moment. The listing submitter enters address of course for his listing, and that’s used for map. But site admin needs to assign it under some of created Listing Locations. And yes, he can set it under multiple locations.

4. You can use multi cities yes. It’s just recommended to have some closer locations, because of the maps rendering. The map won’t look nice if you use some locations from different parts of the words.

1. Unfortunately we haven’t tested this with our theme.
2. We haven’t included sorting option by rankings for the moment, the items are sorted by date. You have the ability to promote some items on your homepage using Featured Listings element. We will look to include rankings filter for the future.
3. Yes of course. You define the prices and rules of how many submitted items are allowed for every package.
4. The reviews can be written by site visitors that visited some specific location for example. They don’t need to be registered as submitters of course.
5. All the theme labels are marked and can be translated into desired language.

1. and 2. The main purpose of our theme are listings, not property reservation like on AirBnB. You can of course use listing items as a property presentations, and disable default restaurants bookings. The messages from each listing item will be delivered to the item submitter yes.
3. Unfortunately, no such option.
4. Again, that requires some additional customization and work, it’s not available by default.

Your theme is very nice theme. I was trying to submit a listing on your testing website..there are some question I need to ensure before I decide to buy..
1. On Submit Listing…we need to have column for location..it is usually a country list. I believe you have location category on your listing post type. But why there is no location selection on submit listing. On you submit listing form..you have address with google autolocation implemented…which is very very good and useful. Please have column for location – country on your submit listing form.
2. On your submit listing form, you have address with google auto place implemented. It is very very good as I said. But why you dont have it on search form at the homepage? also no google auto place search form on advanced search result.Can you make the search form with this field : Keyword – Category -Location – Adress
Location refer to country – that we fill on location category Address refer to Geo Google Auto Location that we fill on the search form.
Please kindly help…if you can make this happen..I will then buy your lovely theme..

Doing so would actually let people know they can claim a listing, and it would encourage people to do so.

No need for buying or using any other plugins to work in our theme. Installation and setup is quite easy, like any other theme. You can translate it to your desired language of course. All the theme labels are marked and translate-ready.
For the package buying, we created our custom integrated subscription system with Paypal checkout. You can of course use your own locations.
