Hello Avada Team, like before i once again didnt get answer for my support question from Michael, i had started this question on april 19 2016, till now my problem isn’t resolved..

and now on June 3 2016 still get answer i have replied twice May 18, 2016 and May 26, 2016 but in the support page the discussion goes automaticly to staff replied and closed without me getting a answer or my problem solved.
can you please have a look for me i have been very patiently waiting 2 months.. the problem was that i paid on of the best developer from codeable for some customization as you recommended them.. after 1500 euros less in my pocket i got a great looking and fantastic website running avada. this is was in avada 3.9.4 but after 2 weeks avada came with a update to 4.0.2 and have tried to update my dev site but unfortunately i got some errors which you read about it in my support reply. so i am now stuck with a website which runs on avada 3.9.4 which works perfect. and i cant update it for security reasons.
i am not a person who demands a developer from avada to fix my problems. but in the first place when i asked my question Michael was kind enough to help me out al the way. but unfortunately did not get any answer till today.
what i need is an answer 1. is michael really gonna help me out with this problem. and is there a date or time i have to wait. or 2. Michael or the rest of avada team cant help me out and just tell me to go back to codeable and pay them more money to let them update my website..
i just need a answer thats all.

Hello, one of my clients has this theme and they currently have the left sidebar navigation. They are wanting a second navigation on the top of the page on a certain membership page. Is this doable? And with what css? Thank you!

You can’t have a side header layout and a top header layout at the same time, to achieve that you would need a custom solution. This header position in the Theme Options is a global option and unfortunately can’t be managed on a page by page basis

We have not tested our theme with Visual composer yet because we have our own builder plugin called Fusion Builder that has tons of options, a new version of Fusion Builder is also in the works that is more advanced and much easy to use, however i have seen some customers using Visual Composer with our theme too.

At the moment, when the rollover is disabled on the portfolio items, they will always link to the single portfolio page. We are looking at adding an option here to define the URL for the image when the rollover is disabled, however there is currently no ETA on this feature.
If you wish to have no rollover on the image and only the lightbox on click, I would recommend using the ‘ImageFrame’ shortcode instead. This allows you to specify a thumbnail and a lightbox image that will be opened on click.

Unfortunately we do not have a black and white effect for this. You could upload the images black and white, but if you want a hover effect from color to black and white it would need to be custom work for certain. I like the team very much.
Just some question regarding the portfolio.
When clicking on an image on a portfolio item, there is an magnifying glass and a link icon. Clicking the magnifying glass shows the feauture image in a lightbox. Instead i want it to be a video(video that is also embed in the portfolio post)

Hello! good afternoon.
I’m experiencing problems with the velocity of my site. (I have another installations working on the same server works fine.)
Everything starts when i tried to install WPML. Once i have deactivated and deleted it, the page starts to works really slowly and sometimes appears the 504 error (getaway time out).

The first thing to check and make sure is that you have updated your theme to the very latest version, which right now is Avada 4.0.2 and thereafter applied all of the patches that have been released

At the moment we don’t have any options to change the default cart icon. Are you wanting to use a font awesome icon or your own custom image? Both would require custom CSS but the implementation would be slightly different.

Just need a little help, please!
I am using Side Header (left position) and am trying to implement Rev Slider fullscreen slideshow with it.
It all works fine apart from one thing…
Side Header always ends up above the slider (it is hiding part of the slider) so I am not getting true ‘full screen’ effect that I desire.
I most probably need to use some kind of a header ‘offset’ but can’t figure out which one!?
Could you please help with this one?

At the moment, Revolution Slider doesn’t offer an offset for a side header, so that option will only work with the top header layout. I believe to get this to work the way you have described, you will need to use custom CSS to provide your own offset for the slider container, such as:
slider-container {
margin-left: 280px !important; }
You may also wish to try using the Fusion Slider instead, as it will automatically offset itself from the sidebar. Many people have asked about using Avada with Buddypress. I gave it a try and you can see my site. The Buddypress pages use the default styles. I used some custom css just to change a few items but it works fine as it is.

Create a div with toggles. I created 14. Delete one of the toggles (I tried to delete Number 9) and the page stops responding properly – first you can’t save the modal in which you add/edit the toggles, then if you click off the modal you find the page no longer has sidebars and cannot be scrolled, or saved. The only thing to do is to create a whole new bunch of toggles and transfer data from one to another.
Write the word “null” in a tab title. After you save and refresh the page, Avada deletes the word from the title.
I said tabs above – I intended to say toggles NOT tabs.

Hmm, are you using the latest version of Avada (4.0.2) and Fusion Core (2.0.2)? If not, can you please update to the latest version and try deleting the toggle again?
We are aware of the issue when inserting “null” as a string and it has been resolved in the next version of the page builder (due out with Avada 4.1). However, you should be able to delete toggles from the modal without any issues.

Yes, I am using the latest versions. I needed to resolve this quickly and support takes at least a day to reply, so I’m afraid I just did as I said and duplicated the slider. I tried everything first; closing and refreshing the browser, trying with firefox and chrome, logging in and out and so on. Like I said, each time, deleting the middle toggle disabled my control over the page – other pages open at the same time were unaffected.
I did notice, however, that my pc got a little stressed and overworked while using two toggle frames on the same page and transferring data between them. Something to do with js maybe? Anyway, replicating and deleting was the solution.
Regards toggle titles. I reported the problem to support some time ago, which is why you know of it already, and while someone might be happy that the fix will be available in the future, I still can’t use the correct title for my toggles in the present.
If a fix for this already exists, as your comments suggest, it would have been better if your support people passed it to the people who were already having problems with it.

It’s built for pre-sale questions only, as we have no way of sharing details confidentially, or providing you with files if that need arose. This is why we ask for all support queries be submitted via the support center. You will then be assigned a support representative who can provide a much higher level of support than is possible in these comments.
Our reply times have been longer than usual due to the last major release of Avada and WordPress, however in the past week the reply times have come all the way back down to normal. If you submit a ticket, you can usually expect a reply in less than 12 hours, normally much less.
I have asked our lead developer if this fix can be ported to Avada 4.0.X and should hear back soon. Can you please go ahead and open a ticket and ask for me in the ticket content? I will be able to work on this issue with you via that medium.

Google fonts aren’t working on mobile in some instances. Any suggestions? All patches have been applied. Header fonts are working, but body fonts are defaulting to web safe fonts (Times).

Your content will not be lost by updating to the latest version. Depending in what version of Avada you’re using now, you may need to update to Avada 3.9.4 before updating to 4.0.2. This will ensure that all of your options are converted correctly during the migration.
