The question has probably already been answered on our forums since there are over 9000 posts in the North theme category, i.e. this thread. Did you check the theme’s live preview demo if the rain effect works there on your browsers? Make sure that you have the very latest North theme version and deactivate all of your plugins for testing purposes.

The update for visual composer was installed and new license purchased and reupload of plugin and still no visual composer on page. Thanks for your help on this.

Hey, I purchased this theme a few months ago. It was working smoothly until the last wordpress update on my site. After the update visual composer has stopped working. I am not able to load any templates from visual composer. The thing just keep going round and round. How do I fix this? I cannot access veented forums. My purchase code is not working. It says already taken but I checked my emails , I did not create an account.

I’m so sorry but this functionality does not come out of the box. We suggest to use a separate Mega Menu plugin for now but we will definitely consider adding this functionality in a next theme update!

When upgrading wordpress v4.5
1) Visual Composer, ...it has disappeared. - Use VC Versión 4.11.2.1 - North 2.0.0
2) I can not update North I Put, in Envanto Toolkit : - Marketplace Username - API Key ...and not appear “After the configuration, you will see a list of purchased themes on your ThemeForest account and an option to install/update them”- Point 13 Documentation.

I have just re-downloaded and uploaded the North theme files and still the Visual Composer is not showing correctly on pages. Under Appearance it shows Version: 2.3.5 is it the latest? I also don’t see an option to update plugins.

Your website loads just fine on my side. I’ve tested it on my Mac (Chrome, FF, Safari) and a Windows device, also on a slower 3G connection. Can you test it on other devices or someone to test it for you? The theme didn’t really provide any functionality that would slow down your website. Same goes for the VC plugin. It was just a compatibility issue with the new WP 4.5. The last one could be a reason if there is indeed an issue.

Mmm… I got an issue with Visual Composer here. After upgrading WP to 4.5, downloading latest theme files and update that too…. it does not show the VC editor on pages (also the button classic mode is gone). Its a blank page in editor. When I deactivate VC text appears in the editor (although just the raw coded text).

Afternoon, I bought this theme a while ago and I see Visual Composer has an update but when I go to download the theme, Visual Composer is no longer part of the plugins? Does this mean we are not supported by visual composer or am I doing something wrong?

The theme update was released right after the notice of this issue has appeared, yesterday. Please redownload the theme files and you will find the latest VC version there (you can find it in Appearance / Install Plugins menu).
