Hello, i just bought this theme, I’m currently working on nouveau demo content. How can I change the color of the highlighted menu item (currently selected page). I’ve been looking everywhere in panel options but i cannot see it. Is it only done through css?

In your WP admin -> Posts -> Each post, under post content you will see excerpt field where you set this text. If you don’t see this field, click on Screen Options in top-right corner, and check excerpt box, then you will see this field.

Like member of our support team advised you there, there is conflict with jQuery after latest WordPress core update to version 4.5+ In order to solve this, all you should do is just to update our theme to version 2.3.1 and VC to version 4.11.2.1, just follow instructions we sent you on your ticket. After this, make sure your cache is cleared and everything should be back fine.

Please make sure you have the latest Nouveau 2.3.1 version, and Visual Composer 4.11.2.1
After these updates, clear all the cache.

No, no, Visual Composer is included into the theme. So, after you update your theme to the latest version from themeforest, you can then update Visual Composer plugin:
Here are the VC update instructions:
1. Make sure main theme is activated , not child
2. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard
4. Install the plugin and then activate it
If you want to do manual upgrade, you can locate Visual Composer plugin here: nouveau.zip > nouveau > plugins > js_composer.zip

If you already downloaded latest version, and updated theme then you have version 2.3 , but we didn’t incremented version in style.css of our theme and this would be incremented in next theme update. So, now all you should do is to update VC also to version 4.11.2.1 and then to clear the cache.

1. HTTP error on images upload: There are several possible causes of this problem.

then check the upload again. It could be also connected to low server resources, or low php version.

Please, just make sure you are using latest versions of our theme 2.3.1 and VC 4.11.2.1 (came bundled) This is stable combination and everything should be working fine. When it comes to images, this is most probably server related issue, so we could recommend you to try to contact hosting provider to check error log on your server.

Very helpful, thank you! My host was able to work out the image issue. Visual composer is still giving me problems however. I was told by your team that I do have the updated version of the theme, it just doesn’t show the correct version number because the style.css was not updated but I do see version 4.11.2.1 in my plugins.

This theme don´t work with the new version of WordPress. The visual Composer don´t work and we installed the last versión 2.3.1 and continue the fail. Our support team is expired however we shop this theme with actualizations for your correct functionally.

I have two questions:
1. My Contact form isn’t sending emails to my email. I’ve checked all settings and even added the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin and still no luck. Please advise!

Your ticket has been answered, check ticksy please. You only need to update parent theme, not the main theme. Since you’re using the plugin, follow the standard procedure you perform for theme update.
But after you update your theme , you need to activate main one, just to be able to update Visual Composer following our instructions. Then after you update this, you can re-activate child theme again.

To update your theme you have to:
1.Download latest theme zip file from ThemeForest
2.Extract it and locate nouveau.zip
3.Extract nouveau.zip and locate nouveau folder
4.Copy/Replace the content of nouveau folder to /wp-content/themes/nouveau folder of your web site.
After it, you can update Visual Composer plugin to the latest included version:

Okay, we followed your instructions above and now Visual Composer no longer works. We have WP 4.5.1 and VC 4.11.2.1. VC is activated, but cannot be used on any of the pages. The elements we added via VC are not functioning properly anymore. There is no way to view Backend Editor or Classic Editor, although they are both enabled. Is there a fix for this?

Do you now have Nouveau 2.3.1 version, and Visual Composer 4.11.2.1 ?
If yes, make sure to empty all cache, and it should all work perfectly fine again (cache must be cleared because the error was script related).
If you still have problems after it, submit a private ticket to https://select.ticksy.com , allowing WP admin access to our support.

As I stated above, the version of Nouveau we downloaded from Themeforest is version 2.3 (not 2.3.1) and we have Visual Composer 4.11.2.1 (which was included with Nouveau 2.3). I feel like you are deliberately avoiding my issues. I have said to you several times that when we downloaded the latest version of Nouveau from our downloads area on Themeforest, the version downloaded says 2.3 and NOT 2.3.1. I asked you if this was correct. You avoided answering that. Then I told you that your system won’t allow us to submit a ticket anymore. You know that when the support expires, your system won’t allow you to submit a ticket unless you pay to extend support. You avoided that as well. Our support for this item just ended, but we will not pay you a dime for you to play games with us. And I am absolutely certain that you are aware of the issues with Visual Composer 4.11.2.1 as there are hundreds of complaints about it breaking websites and is no longer usable (http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments). Stop pretending you have no idea what I am talking about.
Furthermore, there are people who have reached out to you regarding this same issue and you were not able to fix the problem. They mentioned it on the comments page for Visual Composer. Just updated to the latest theme, followed all instructions for reinstalling the latest Visual Composer but now all I get is the box for Visual Composer on the page but it doesn’t work. Any previous items I have previously added are not showing. The code is there when I view the page in classic mode but I can’t edit them now.

We can’t recommend specific dimensions and duration. You need to find some balance between size and quality. You have the option to choose slider change(sliding) time, so you can set it to be equal to video duration.

Thank you for this great theme! I recently bought it and i’m now figuring out, how things work. I get stuck on the video in the select slider for the homepage. I’ve converted my 5 sec. video in three formats; MP4, WEBM and OGV. Uploaded them in media en used the URL links in the slider. On internet explorer the video does’nt show, and the slides just get stuck. On Firefox the video does show, but it’s not running smooth at all. I can’t figure out what is going wrong..
The next thing i’m struggling with is when i upload a background image in a row, the quality looks “ok” but not great on the computer, when viewing from mobile the picture is very blurred and stretched! The image i used has a great resolution.
Any ideas? Thank you on forehand.
