Asking again about Subscriptio compatibility – I am building 5 directory sites, but to pay for WooCommerce Subscriptions/$199/year and other WC paid plugins/year makes your theme unrealistic. Is the conflict with Listify theme and/or WC Paid Listings? I’m afraid if I hire a programmer to make it compatible then every update I will need to hire again. I have found several other themes which allow recurring subscriptions via PayPal recurring payments. Is there some way that your them can be directly compatible with PayPal Subscriptions? The most important part of directory themes is automatic recurring payments. I have several clients who want directory sites but cannot afford the annual cost of WC plugins necessary to accept recurring payments. I’ve postponed building these sites for more than 1 year hoping that there was a more affordable solution. Any chance of something changing in the very near future?

We have created a citywide listing website as demonstrated on our Listify Classic Demo.The demo only displays listings based on the city of Toronto only.
Of course, you are not limited to only creating a citywide listing website. With Listify you can create a nationwide listing website!

I’d like to use this. I would like to set this up that people have different shops and can sell items. Is it possible to have items as per demo set up but also people could visit ones shop i.e. all the products that they have listed? And then they could for instance post a link to there “shop” to people? Or is it impossible to see all products from one user?
Also, is it possible to take say 10% commission on each sale?

Listing owners can definitely sell their own products and actually have their own created products displayed on their listing page. This is possible when you use the WooCommerce Product Vendors plugin and WP Job Manager – Products plugin together. You can read further here : How do I allow vendors to sell products through my Listify powered website?
As for admins earning commission on sales, the WooCommerce Product Vendor plugin handles that for you! You ca read about it here: How does a listing owner get their commission when a product/booking is purchased on their listing?
This is currently not demonstrated in our demo, but we hope to create another demo to display how a Listing owner can be a vendor and sell products.

By default, there is no option to set a YouTube Video in the header of a Listing page. You can definitely add a video to the body of the listing page.
The only other alternative is if you modify the theme yourself to allow this option using custom code.

Hello, I updated to the latest version, and the Claimed Badge has disappeared from the Listings Widget, now I only see it once I open Single Listings, and it will show on top of the title. How can I make it to display on again and also change the position to make it the way it was before? Thanks

Thank you very much for the report. We will release an update today that resolve the issue with the badge not appearing on the Listings grid when no secondary listing image is enabled.
For the time being if you visit Customize ? Listings ? Listing Results and enable a “Listing Card Secondary Image” you will see the claimed checkmark.

I was wondering if the pages under ”../my-account/” can be changed. For example, can I add/delete a particular page (like “Order”) and rename a page (like change “Addresses” to something else). Are the forms on these pages customizable?

Answer:Unfortunately there is not setting within the theme that allows for the pages under “my account” to be modified. These pages are generated by the WooCommerce plugin. The only way to alter them is by modifying the plugin itself.
Question: Are the forms on these pages customizable?
Answer:Absolutely! You can create as many forms as you would like and customizable. You can read further about setting up your forms here: Setting up your Forms/a>

Hi there! Simply follow the steps described under Social Profiles: Labels & Behavior
Setting the Social profile setting to Associate with listing will display the social profile fields when creating and editing listings.

Why is it when you search for something on the updated via the ‘what are you looking for’ or header search bar it populates results that don’t seem to fit the search. Ie: search for coffee on your demo populates 16 results in which I can not find the word Coffee within any of there copy, name, address, etc.

The reason you get multiple search results when searching the keyword Coffee is due to the way the WordPress search results will return results for partial matches.
Meaning it will pull a listing with the word “Coffin” when you search for “Coffee”.
Don’t like that? You can take control the type of results that should be returned based on searches using the SearchWp plugin!

Hi, How does the search function work for listings? Are tags used or are listings pulled strictly based on categories?

The WP Job Manager – Tags plugin allows for additional filtering of Listings. If you are searching by a Category, you can filter further by selecting specific Tags. The results will reflect if listings are associated with both the Category and Tags. Listing Tags can be seen as the final level of organization.
You have the ability to search by key terms, locations, and categories. Results will be returned all depending if there is a match between the keyword/search criteria and the listing.
Also if you need additional search filters, you should check out the FacetWP plugin. It allows you to create custom search filters and we have just improved it’s capabilities with our latest Listify update!

Hi, i have just one inconvenience… recently my support period has expired, i had never before used the support system, now i see an update about listify, all ready download it and install it…. but, the Map service does not work, in the main page, where the user search for some adress, shows an error with an gray icon, and when you try to search something, in the results page, the map never shows up, just a gray square and the text “some error has ocurred”... can you look for it please? just take a look to my website “http://medicosenmorelia.com/” please and tell me what it could be… thanks a lot. Hi there, i allready do that… y generate my API Key, then i configure it in : aparence/listings/map configuration/ .... i enable ” Google Maps Geocoding API” and ” Google Maps Geolocation API”... i wait for 24 hours (there say just 5 minutes) and… it does not work…

Is there any possible way we could show a basic list of listings on the homepage – something like the list view would also do. We don’t want to show such big images and listings as features on the homepage but would still like the option to display a neat list (possible in 3 columns) with just text? Thanks in advance.

Although there is no widget to display listings just as text, maybe you might want to use the Terms List Widget to display a list of the listings.

Thanks, Fernando. I looked into this, unfortunately I don’t see a Page: Term Lists in the customizer or widgets. I’ve also noticed that the contact form to contact a business listing doesn’t show even though I have followed the steps in the documentation.

Hmm, when looking up widgets look up “Listings by Category”. Then it should come up!
As for contacting a listing, make sure you attach the form through the listing settings and save it. As shown in this article: Setting up your form
An alternative you can do is create a contact form on your sidebar: How to Create the Contact Listings Sidebar

This looks like a bug and we are looking into this right now.
To resolve this issue for yourself, simply go into the Listing Author Widget settings. In the Listing page, go to Customize>Widget>Listing Author Widget. Simply unchecking or checking bio, for example, will automatically display all the buttons.

Thanks, I hesitate to apply the latest update again because when I did it, I found, in addition invisible touch buttons, a change in font size for all pages and menu, adding a call in action on the home page and a change of color footer.
You can always customize the look of the theme if needed, but our theme upgrades always improve the quality of the overall theme. Plus we always include feature improvements.

Hi, is it possible for a user to register on the site, create a listing for a business through the front-end, that is for sale (for e.g. Business Broker site). Upload details of the property, image and possibly a pdf file with more info that is attached to the listing.

Users can definitely create their own listings through the submission form provided through the front-end. You can either let them list for free or charge them a fee by Creating Listing Packages.
Uploading details, images is possible by default. You could add a new field to upload a PDF using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin, or you could let the users add all content of the pdf in the text description box when they are submitting their business to the site.
