Tx bro..
Does this WP Job Manager – Tags is available for sale at themeforest ? I would like to buy it.
Hi, I need to set up a business directory which may only have one category so can all references to categories or “what are you looking for” be removed easily such as in the search drop downs etc? Also I need to have a claim listing feature as well as membership which will allow additional features for the businesses such as showing web address and ability to write a bio, these need to be hidden for free listings. Also some of the businesses are members of professional bodies and they may like to display a badge of the professional body, can badges be added if I upload the images for each professional body and then the business when adding their business just select which body or bodies they belong to and the badge will be added to their profile? Thanks Alan
Hi Alan!
Hope you are doing well and thank you for your questions today!
Question: I need to set up a business directory which may only have one category so can all references to categories or “what are you looking for” be removed easily such as in the search drop downs etc?
Answer: If you are using a single Category, you can disable categories. Through our support channel, we can help you to disable the header search and dropdowns.
Question: Also I need to have a claim listing feature as well as membership which will allow additional features for the businesses such as showing web address and ability to write a bio, these need to be hidden for free listings.
Answer: To claim Listings, you can use the Claim Listing plugin, which let users claim listings on your website.
Also you can Create various Listing Packages. One of you packages can be free and when using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin, you can limit what fields are displayed per the type of package selected.
For example, the free package does not display image upload, video upload, limit text that can be input in the fields etc.
Question: Also some of the businesses are members of professional bodies and they may like to display a badge of the professional body, can badges be added if I upload the images for each professional body and then the business when adding their business just select which body or bodies they belong to and the badge will be added to their profile?
Answer: Right now when submitting a Listings users can upload a Company logo themselves. This would be the closest feature there is to having a badge.
An alternative is already using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin and with personal customization can allow for the selection of badges.
There currently is no out of box solution for a feature like this, unfortunately.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi there,
I’ve been checking the comments forum regularly to check when the message plugin will be released. Understand that the plugin is completed and compatibility check is in progress before being released in the next major update. That’s great news!!
Kindly advise 1) what is the name of the plugin 2) when is the estimated release date for the message function. It’d be great to get a rough estimation on the release date as I have a rather crucial presentation coming up..
Thanks guys for the hard work & effort. Appreciate it. Cheers!!
Melissa
Hi Melissa!
Thank you for your question today!
Question:1) what is the name of the plugin
Answer: The name of the plugin is “Private Messages”!
Question: 2) when is the estimated release date for the message function. It’d be great to get a rough estimation on the release date as I have a rather crucial presentation coming up..
Answer: We still do not have a set release date but we are planning on adding private messaging support in one of the next Major theme releases so that will be quite exciting.
We currently focusing on the next Major releases for Listify and ask to keep an eye out since we have a lot of great things coming!
Cheers! Fernando
Hello 1. I would like to ask what the procedure is arranged listings in the category ? whether there is a possibility to change the order on demand? 2. Does the category may have a general description ? 3. Does the category descriptions may be shown when selected location and category and below all the listings ? 4. Maybe you have information about the operation of the speed / weight of some 1,000 listings , listings of 3000 , 5000 and 15000 listings ?
Hi there karmaza!
Hope you are doing well today!
Question: 1. I would like to ask what the procedure is arranged listings in the category ? whether there is a possibility to change the order on demand?
Answer: When searching, in general, Listings will display in the order they were created and Featured Listings will automatically be displayed at the top of the list.
One option is using the FacetWP plugin to creat a sort mechanism when searching to make changes on demand.
An alternative is using code to customize the order of results: Order Listings Alphabetically
Question:2. Does the category may have a general description ?
Answer: You can add a small description to a Category through the backend admin panel but at this time it does not get outputted within the website.
Question: 3. Does the category descriptions may be shown when selected location and category and below all the listings ?
Answer: At this time this is not possible but we are hoping to integrate category images and descriptions in a future release.
Question: 4. Maybe you have information about the operation of the speed / weight of some 1,000 listings , listings of 3000 , 5000 and 15000 listings ?
Answer: Our theme allows you to create as many listings as you need and has no limit. You can create import as many as you need. Although you also have to make sure your website host/server is able to handle such an amount.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Thanks for the answer Fernando, it seems that your approach is professional. 2. whether there are now any chance to have a description of the categories ? 3. when planning a future release ? Can we consider some sort of plugins for the following uses ?
I these issues very important before buying the theme , because the categories is one of the most important parts of the Google search . In case of a Google search by category Doubtless there attendance and revenues ?
Thank you for your answers
What I can suggest right now is possibly Create “Static” Listing Pages for SEO also use somethin like this plugin.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Events Plugin promised since more than 1 and half year and still nothing. For months you talked about the Wp Job Manager – Events plugin saying it was pratically ready and now in the most recent comments, you have no ETA about that.
Honestly it’s quite ridiculous.
It seems a mirage…...
Hi sissymacca!
I know, it has been a while.
We still have not forgotten about the Events plugin! We have just been working on improving the overall design options and better speed optimizations right now for Listify. We have a lot of great things coming down the road especially with our future Listify releases. Including the 1.6 and 1.7 Major releases!
But we promise we have not forgotten about the events plugin!
Cheers! Fernando
Hello, hope you are well!
I used WP import to bulk upload listings into my website. The website is multilingual, so i want to bulk upload the translations of the listings too. Is there any way to do it using WP import?
Thanks a lot
Hey nikosmdtps!
I am doing well myself and I hope you are too.
You can simply upload listings once and have them translated when creating a multilingual website. If you upload the translations of Listings, you will have duplicates of your listings but in different languages.
I suggest having your listings in one language and follow the steps described in our article to create a multilingual website without any duplicates!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hello Fernado, thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately i think i cannot do what you say… If i do, how will i translate the descriptions, the addresses e.t.c?
In the article on how to Create a Multilingual Website Section 8 talks about translating your listings for a multilingual website.
Hope this helps!
Cheers! Fernando
Hello Fernando
I think you didn’t understand what i need! Let’s say i have 200 listings in English. Now i have a csv file with the translation of the english listings in Spanish. I want to bulk upload the spanish listings as translations of the english listings. I use WP all import and the listify addon. Is there any way to do it automatically?
Thanks
You can definitely import them using WP All Import. As for the translated file, they will simply be imported as listings, you will have duplicates of the same listing but in a different language. There is no way to merge the two files into one listing automatically.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hoping someone could help me out here. I’m trying to change the colour of the border around the input field boxes so they are more legible and users can see the fields. Right now, the input boxes are extremely light and look as part of the background.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can find the CSS for all forms so I can add a darker border?
Thanks
Hey again!
Hope you are doing well today.
I can possibly help you get started with this. You can make changes to the average form fields using adding CSS to the .input-text class. This should point you in the right direction!
If you need further answers to questions regarding Listify, please contact support!

Hi folks, Found a bug. In Listify file class-wp-job-manager-claim.php on line 18 ‘WP_Job_Manager_Contact_Listing’ should be ‘Astoundify_Job_Manager_Contact_Listing’ when checking for class. Can you please fix?
Also what is the best place to make bug reports? I don’t want to have to renew support for problems I could fix myself if I had access to the master repository.

Hi, Pls help….How to change the text “All Categories” to “All Arts” in Search box and also the text “filter by tags:” to something else.
Tx
Tx dear… for a quick help
Good Afternoon,
I’m looking for a way to add a “Downloads” section to each “Listing / Page” that is unique to it’s own files but on the side bar.
The widgets section offers HTML/Text but it’s static to all listings, where I’m looking to change it based on each listing.
What plugin do you recommend I go with? I can’t seem to find one that offers what I’m looking for. Essentially I’m just looking for an empty Text/HTML box to be presented on the side bar next to “Hours of Operations” so that I can insert the code/images I need to.
Hey, it’s great to hear from you,
By default, there is no Downloads section for Listings. A workaround for this would be using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin to create a upload option and have it display on the Listing Page. From there, the file can be outputted and viewed from a link or by using a widget.
You can add an additional text area or field as well with the plugin if needed. For your needs using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin is the way to go!
Hope this answers your questions!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hi Fernando,
Thanks for your response. I have to say this is quite disappointing to hear. I do understand that from a developers point of view that when you upsell your plugins to help cover your development and labor costs.
However, I would think with a $60 USD investment that the bare features of your theme would allow the functionality to use other 3rd party plugins without having to purchase yours.
If your listing page is based on widgets, why can’t I just use any widget I’d like to without it being static per listing? I just want a basic HTML / Text box to be available on the listing panel so that I can add variable line of code per listing.
What concerns me is that less than 2 weeks of purchasing this product you are just providing me more of an upsell to your plugins. While I do want to invest in your plugins, if I can get any usual functionality out of this theme without having to purchase something right away that is a HUGE RED FLAG for me to stop investing any further.
There has to be a way another way I’m able to produce what I need to. Can you suggest any alternatives so we can resolve this matter.
Once again to clarify, here is what I’d like to accomplish:
See image: http://i.imgur.com/XYTrrXd.png
I would like to add an HTML/Text Box that would show up for every listing so that I may enter download links or any additional information I like. While there are plugins that exist, the widget area is static to all listings where I would like to enter it in manually per listing.
Similar to how you have your “Business Social Profiles” set up uniquely for each listing. There must be a way without having to invest more money, especially after just owning this product for 2 weeks, I’m not ready to spend more money right away without having the ability to work on it further.

Hi again!
I didn’t mean anything wrong! I was just trying to provide a solution to your question today.
The theme does work without the need of any additional plugins. If you require additional features integrated into your website will require plugins for this. You can read further here: Do I have to use the plugins as described in your sales page?
There is a General Text Widget you can use for Listings. With it, you can insert links or additional text but it will be the same for each listing. You can definitely edit the widget yourself but the content will be the same for all Listings and you wanted to edit it per Listing.
One way to add additional fields to a submission form similar to the Social profiles at this time would be using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.
I can suggest another idea but this requires modifying the code. You can read this article on how to add a “salary field” to your website. You can use this concept to possibly add additional fields to your website if you feel comfortable editing the code. Adding a Field
Hope this helps!

Hi Fernando, thanks for the suggestions. I’ll try to edit the code, I’m quite comfortable with the platform following your guide. The challenge for me was to save time.
You have to understand the solution you provided me was to pay$$ more for a plug-in. As a new buyer of your product, I have an initial period where I am still validating your amazing theme. So for me to purchase something right away is a red flag. I’m not upset with you, just being honest. Nevertheless, I appreciate the support and your responsive manner.
I’ll continue to work with your theme as I’m looking forward to it.
Warm Regards
Always looking to help! If you have any further questions please let us know and we will be more than happy to help!

Hello Fernando, Please let me know what plugins I would need for these options I’d like to add to Listify Theme.
Question about Ads – I would like to post only specific ads per listing. For instance “Mario’s Pizza Shop” – Listing in Chicago. I would like to only put 1 or 2 rotating ads not through google but specific image / html code per listing. Is this something I can do without it being static for all sidebar?
So no ad is the same, every listing has a separate ad I specifically added.
Hey again!
Yes, you can add adds to your website! You can review further here: Can I add banner ads on my Listify powered directory?
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Thanks Fernando! I tried to look this up in the documentation, but I couldn’t find it.
Please see image below, is there a way to remove the global search bar in the header? Is this a widget or change icons?
http://i.imgur.com/sAHuQP8.pngDoes Listify work without Woocommerce? If so, what would be the drawbacks? If not, why not and can that be solved?
I do not want to do any commerce on my site. So the Woocommerce dashboard features (like billing/delivery address, orders, downloads etc.) are superfluous and confusing for users. I’m just using Listify as a free directory of centres in our organisation. Also Woocommerce takes over the login and account management features from WordPress, which causes issues if one is using Listify on one site of a multisite. So how can Listify be made to work without Woocommerce?
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well and thanks for your question today!
We highly recommend and would definitely require the WooCommerce plugin if you need a website that works like our demo. Since WooCommerce handles a lot of the fundamental features like the account management and enables some extra features in regards to geolocation, formatting, bookings etc we recommend it.
It is not technically 100% required if you do not need those functions.
Hope that answers your question today!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
I was wondering if there is a widget so you can reply to comments with the theme? So businesses get to respond to reviews left about them.
Hey, it’s great to hear from you,
Yes, businesses can respond to reviews that are left, see screenshot:
Business owners can also moderate reviews that are left if you chose to enable that feature.
You can now allow listing owners to moderate their own reviews with an easy-to-use front end dashboard! The new Moderate Reviews feature for WP Job Manager Reviews can be set up in a few simple steps. Simply paste the shortcode [review_dashboard] into a new page in the WordPress admin, publish, and business owners will be able to view a dashboard that shows them all reviews on their listing. Within the dashboard listing owners can then moderate which reviews are shown on their listing page by selecting from the following options: Unapprove/Approve, Spam, or Delete

Hello. Tell me, what’s inside the mechanism of payment of accommodation in a directory? The company, fills out a form, then it is billed only after payment sechta it opens access to placement?
Hey, it’s great to hear from you,
Listify is powered by WooCommerce to process payments for listing packages, shop products, bookings etc. In fact all payment gateways that WooCommerce supports are compatible. This includes PayPal, Skrill, Authorize.net, Stripe etc.
Most directory themes only offer a few options in terms of payment gateways, with Listify you can use any payment gateway that WooCommerce supports. This is over 116+ payment gateways. More information can be found here.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Section coupons and rebates are paid as a complement to the company and how generally this section is regulated? Each page of the company in the directory seo-optimized?
Hi guys
There is a way to put ads (AdSense) in the listing description or in the home page?
Any news about 1.6??When it comes out?
You will put a section for sponsors?
Ty
Hey, it’s great to hear from you,
Question: There is a way to put ads (AdSense) in the listing description or in the home page?
Answer: Yes. There are widget areas where the AdRotate shortcode (or any other ad shortcode or code) can be added so that advertising banners can be placed. This includes, ads on your home page, blog pages/posts, listing pages, shop pages etc. Basically any sidebar/content area that is a widget area.
http://listify.astoundify.com/article/304-adding-ads-to-pagesQuestion: Any news about 1.6??When it comes out?
Answer: It should be out sometime in July most likely at the end of July
but version 1.5.3 is stable and is working great so buy now don’t wait.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Adam
can this theme be setup something simliar to this? http://rentruby.com/
Hi there!
You can use the FacetWP plugin to add additional filters similar like the page you posted. You can check out our demo that uses the plugin here: https://listify-demos.astoundify.com/classic-facetwp/
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

I see it’s more easy and fast to have an answer here…
My website is totally break since one month, since your update… Before update all works perfectly
Your team asks me to make more and more tests…
- I’ve update all my plugins + LISTIFY
- I’ve reindex FACET WP
- I’ve deactivate all plugins except : FACET WP / WOOCOMMERCE / WP JOB MANAGER plugins
- I’ve clear my cache
Now :
1- All the searches give 0 results
2- All filters is on one line : All the filters of searches are on a line what makes them totally incomprehensible
3 – The same on homepage
4- the body of listing just bottom footer is break
5- For the expiry date of announcements I do not have more than the month, the year disappeared and it does not thus work any more
You have : MY FTP And MY ADMIN ACCESS
I’ve send you a ticket
Well, please now, can you give me your help ?! I wait with a site broken for more than a month.
Thanks,

Your theme is sold to monetize announcements, it normally has to work with all the plugins which you announce… But when it is not the case, a site with which we earn money cannot wait 1 month on OFF, it is not serious for the customers who paid.
When I bought the theme we had an answer under 24 hours, maintaining that you are successful it is necessary to wait 6 days.
If you have a lot of success why not to hire other people for the support ?
I wish to install other sites with announcements but I do not want to use any more your theme because 1 month with a site which does not work further to the update of your theme it is not serious.
I paid in more the renewal of the support. I had another 3 months, maintaining I do not have more than 2 months and I still have no my site which works.
When you have a customer who has his site on OFF for 1 month it should be priority.
The last answer of Rashid was July 5th, we are July 7th and always no answer, my website is OFF since one month.

Please use support system for help. We do not forget about customers and respond to all issues. Sorry if it took longer than 24 hours. I see both Rashid and Spencer are helping you.
We have been busy upgrades to Listify.
Cheers! Adam
Hi, I created Google Map API and added it to the them ….however map on the listing stop displaying . I have enable all the geolocation etc , but its isn’t working.
Hi there!
Make sure you are following these steps carefully. This will resolve any issue you may be experiencing. Also, if you are using the Extended Locations plugin, make sure to add the key to it too within the Listing Settings.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hey, it’s great to hear from you,

PRE PURCHASE QUESTION.
My business model is to match gyms with personal trainers when they are short staffed.. find fitness trainers in local area – easy to do with your theme?
Thank you
Hi rfollett!
You can definitely create Listings for users. Any trainer can create a listing for themselves and a gym can look for trainers in the area. They can either contact them directly or can possibly book their time.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Hi there,
PRE PURCHASE QUESTION.
Is it possible to give people/companies different types of access which will enable them to display less or more things on their profile?
For example: Can we allow a paying customer to display more on their profile than customer on a free trial?
Also, how much control do you have over what can be displayed on a company profile? Widgets etc?
Thanks
Hey, it’s great to hear from you,
Absolutely! You can Create different Listing Packages for this! When using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin, you can limit what fields are displayed per the type of package selected.
For example, the free package does not display image upload, video upload, limit text that can be input in the fields etc.
Hope this answers your questions!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando
I’m trying to use a wp-social-sharing plugin but it does not show up on listings only shows on posts. what could be causing this ?
Hey jcolome!
Hope you are doing well today! You can alter the settings in the Labels & Behavior to allows for Social profiles to be associated to Listings. This will enable for the fields to display to add social profiles to Listings.
Hope this helps!
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Thanks fernando but what I meant was there are “sharing” plugins that are used for a person to share that listing info on facebook, ect. their is something in the listing page that prevents the code from showing -
My apologies!
For sharing you can follow these steps: Adding Sharing Options Make sure you have the JP Sharing plugin enabled and activated.
Cheers! Fernando
Perfect – Thanks again
ahh me again – so sorry but look at this test installation. http://lucrativedata.com/
and browse to blog – you’ll see the share but if you go to a listing – no sharing found even though i checked it off.
no rush and thank you
