I have a client who built their site using the Osmosis child theme. They recently upgraded to WP 4.5, but soon realized that all pages built using Visual composer is completely blank. I took a look at their site and saw the error below.
“Theme Updater Error:403 User not found. This can sometimes occur if the user has registered with https://account.envato.com but not logged in to the marketplace yet.”
I was hoping updating their theme from it’s current version ‘2.7.0’ to the last will fix the issue, but i can’t as i do not have access to the purchase code. The consulting company used to build the site does and they don’t seem to be responding to their request.
There is an API key listed on the theme
Please advise on any recommendations you may have.

Thanks for your message! The first point here is that you must always update the theme before the WP update. This is the reason why we provide free lifetime updates.
So yes, you just need to update the theme and its required plugins in order to fix it. There are 2 different ways for this, please check this article. However, both of these require access to the TF. Unfortunately, there is nothing more that we can do from our side for this as you need to verify that you have a theme licence.

Are there styles to display or hide content based on (phone, tablet, desktop)?

There are responsive options available for both rows and columns. For example you can hide a row if you wish for a mobile and choose if you want to display a column or not in desktop/tablet/mobile respectively.

Does your them include an events page. I can’t seem to find one, but I see it’s compatible with events calendar plugin. Also, does it include the events calendar plugin or do I get that separately.

I´m having a problem with the Blog page title. I’ve tried to change it from the page title, and in the Feature Section, by adding an image with a title. Despite of my efforts in trying to change it, the page is still showing the site name…

Is the latest version 3.2.4 compatible with latest release of WooCommerce 2.6?
Any chance we’ll see an update to the checkout page to make a 2 columned checkout layout (as seen in Woo’s StoreFront theme as well as on their own website when making purchases?

You will probably meet no issues with Osmosis and WooCommerce 2.6. However, there will be an updated version in the next 24 hours. In general, it is recommended to update the theme first. Unfortunately, we have no plans to change the basic layout of the checkout.

Honestly, we are a little bit confused! You gave us a bad review (yes the 4 stars is a bad review for Osmosis) even if you wrote that Osmosis “The BEST WordPress Theme on the market” (?). Right after you ask for freelancing services, as your request has not to do with the theme, with a pre sale support question (?). But, even if we were available for freelancing services, it would be something completely different from the support renewal. Additionally, have in mind that we did not decide to sell support packages, Envato did and it includes specific services.
You know well that we strive to provide the best customer service, there are quite a few closed tickets for your issues in our support forum. However, we need to let you know that we never force none of our customers to renew their support package and we cannot make any kind of deal for our high quality services.

I’m aware Envato offer support for a fixed price, however the details don’t outline whether a ‘forced SSL’ fix is available.
I would really love your help and I’m happy to pay support for this.
It’s a big challenge because right now, if people just type the url, the standard theme shows (not the child theme) so my custom fonts don’t appear.
Let me know if the Envato package covers this?

Hello! I just did a theme update and now our RevSlider doesn’t work. Returning this error: “Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include. This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.
To fix it you can: 1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true. 2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.”

There is nothing that has changed about the Revolution Slider in the last theme update. If you check this page – http://greatives.eu/themes/osmosis/home-v8/ – you will see that it works fine.
About the support now, we never ask from our customers to renew their support package but we also never make promises. All of our customers know well that we are willing to help but we just do not provide support in the comment area of the TF as this is our philosophy from our first day here. There are several reasons why we cannot provide support in this area. Hi, I updated to the last version of the theme 3.2.4 and after update I saw that words and title within certain elements of VC had no space between word. After digging in the css file, I notice this in the /osmosis/css/elements.css file this line .grve-image-text { word-spacing: -0.26em; }
I used a temporary fix, but I want to know if there is anything wrong with the update.

here. It is also worth noting that we do not use any caching plugin because we really like our potential customers to check our themes as they are. I think that the perfomance grade 91/100 without a caching plugin is more than good. Hope this makes sense

Anchor menu text inherits from the small text under Theme Options > Typography Options.
You can customise the color of the anchor menu under Appearance > Customise > Colors – Page Anchor Menu.

Thanks for using Osmosis! Please double check that you have updated both theme and required plugins. Then remove any 3rd party plugin or customization you may have. Finally, clear your cache, especially if you are using a cache plugin.
