- ph_simpleblog: fix issue with redirect to external page to blog post. Calm down, it was not a virouse or malware. It was becouse by default ph_simpleblog module developer was using fontAwesome “fa” class inside tpl files of module for icons. In theme there is uses “icon” css class instead. I did find and replace action for fa replactmen to icon. and thah caused, facebook conection link change from facebook to iconcebook.net which caused redirect.

yes you can change, you should use 755 for folders and 644 for files, and in corectly configured server it should work with such permissions

Hi Marcin, I’ve already asked for it in the recent past. Please provide a changelog when you update a new realease. Every 2-3 days I cannot dowload and zip files only to check if something of important has been changed. Tks

if there is no changlog posted or information about new update but you see diffrent last update date, then it measn it was maybe only backapge update not actual theme update

The filter is very easy to use on mobile.

In v3.6 there was a problem with Blog for PrestaShop (bad redirections to scam site) and i had few e-mails recently saying that my module was hacked. No – it was not hacked, it’s not my fault. I hope that Marcin will confirm this here to avoid nasty speculations.

it is not hacked file. I already sended fixed version of the single.tpl file.

Yes it was small oversight. I did not catched it during test becouse had facebook initialization switch off so it was not visible for me

Trying to decide between this theme and another. This one seems like it allows more customization . I was wondering if it is possible to hide individual navbar menu items according to screen size instead of just hiding the whole navbar. Amazon.com does this for an example. Is this possible? Thank you

there is settings which allow to change font size and padding for menu according to breakboints resolution,
about hiding elements per resolution it can be easly done with custom css since each menu tab have own id

do you think that is possibile to place the products filter in the side bar to make it appear when needed?
for example in a search result pages or in category pages?
you can place product filter on sidebar, but product filter is visible only in category pages, not on search results

is not in the search results because is not a standard behavior of Prestashop, right?
In case I add a plugin that extend it to make it filter work on search results too it will appear on the warehouse sidebar too, right?
Another thing: The same thing happen in the off canvas menu for mobile? Is possibile to make it visible in there?

filtering is a blocklayered module which is part of prestsahop, it allows to hook only on category pages, but in cooming months theere will be new ps 1.7 and as i know it will allow to hook filtering on any product listing

May I ask if your code has been audited by anyone except you (and hackers)? We had one site, which was hacked. After checking the code quality, in the place where you left doors wide open it’s hard to belive that the rest of the code is secure. I know that always there is a chance there are some small flaws, but these one were not small… huge I would say.
You wrote you learned your lesson – please tell us then what have you done so such situation don’t occur again.
I’m understand your frustation and I’m sorry for the issue. The code which caused issue was writted around 6 years ago, it was before warehouse realase in module simpleslideshow, which were duplicated in other advert/slides modules and then included in theme. I did mistake puting this module withoud double checking.
By “I learned a lesson” I mean that i will put double attention in all vulnerable parts. In all other modules where the file upload is handled like menu, contentcreator, there is used default Prestshop bulid file uploader with own security.
Found a problem in theme>warehouse>module>ph_simpleblog>views>templates>front>single.tpl At the end of this file there is a js called to a domain iconcebook.net/ instead of facebook.net Kind of malware ? please could you check ?
i already found that, it is not malware, in single php there was fa- class used to icons by simple blog module developer. in ps there is “icon” used as css class for icon, I did find and replace for “fa” to “icon” and i did not saw facebook code here , i already sended package with fixed version to themeforest

if you want to remove entire commens for product then disable/uninstall productcomments module, if you want to keep comments but just remove stars from product list go to modules > positions and remove productomments module from hook “displayProductListReviews”
